In 2036 I made that tweak and didn't look back in Europe. Great tactic, scores so many goals. Quality fullbacks are paramount.

I made that one change and played it the entire season, went undefeated in the league, but sadly failed in the FA Cup and Champions League.

For what it's worth I started the following season by changing the Roaming Playmaker to Deep Lying Playmaker of Defend, with "More Direct Passes" I'm certainly conceding less, but not quite scoring as many, but still scoring plenty.

I went with this one for an entire season, finally did the Quadruple, winning the Champions League with Cardiff City at the Millennium Stadium, couldn't be sweeter. Only lost 3 games in the league scored more than 150 goals. The only problem i find is with the Roaming Playmaker, who I find offers little in attack, but leaves a massive amount of open space when he pushes forward, meaning I'm terribly vulnerable on the counter. Other than that, can't fault it. Cheers, Knap.

It's 2033, I'm doing well, but not dominating ( my team is mostly regens) I wanted to have some fun and go gung ho. I certainly did that in this game, even while down to 10 men for 45 minutes.

I actually went with FM23 ROCK STEADY 4312 SS VOL P106 EC FA in the end, worked like a charm. Went from finishing 19th previous season to finishing 2nd (predicted 11th) I lost out to Liverpool on the last day of the season. Got £90m to spend now, so hopefully a few addition will help me challenge again. Cheers Knap.

Hi Knap. I'm in a bit of a pickle. I got Cardiff City promoted to the Premier League in my first season, I'm in the bottom 3 at Christmas. I'm looking for a formation that doesn't use wingers (I see 4-2-4 seems to be the meta this year) any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
