  1. They'll do it whenever they please. It's how marketing works when there is no competition. They know everyone will be back no matter what.
  2. I think you're missing the point. Animations aren't only limited to specific player animations or special moves. The graphics isn't as important but investing in it means more realistic representation of the match engine which objectively improves every single player's experience.
  3. Yes it is the same. The only difference between yours and AI matches is that your decisions will cause the Match Engine to change the outcome and regenerate the match highlights based on the different type of changes you do.
  4. Well from what I understand, the competitions will have their proper names and their logos, their trophies will be represented both in image and 3d format when the animation plays for the team lifting the cup. If you were modding proper names or logos and stuff that will be in the game by default that's all. No change to gameplay or drastic things.
  5. I'm cautiously optimistic. Last year was the first time I didn't pre-order because I wanted to look at the features. I didn't end up buying it because from my point of view it was just not worth it. I want to pre-order but if the main features end up more on the likes of reskinning existing data views into something new, I would just stick with FM 21. This is actually a major problem SI have been fixing little by little by adding animations and overall changing the visual representation of the Match Engine. There are people who play the game by viewing stats and others do it by viewing how their tactics are represented in graphics. So yes you may be right now but the graphical representation has to improve. Note that I said graphical representation which means animations and better translation of the engine than fancy graphics.
  6. I've found a solution to morale in nearly every FM game I've played (12,14,17,18,20,21) where it might not work 100% but it has worked very well. * Do not let your praise be over the top unless you won by a huge margin (more than 2 or 3 goals) and conceded none. Use the normal "Nice you did well" instead of delighted even if it was against your rivals. * Always be harsh at half time even if you're leading 3-0 and ask the team to not get complacent. Reserve positive comments for the end of the match. Ignore anyone who gets frustrated because either you babysit one prima donna or you make sure the team wins. * If it's away, be a little understanding and lower criticism especially if you lost with a goal difference of 1 or 2. At home, depending on how worse it was, you can be angry.
  7. This is probably the most controversial change and I can see why SI are hesitant to implement it. You know how managers work? They look at your matches and if they see you using the same tactic, they design a tactic specifically to beat yours (depending on their tactic knowledge of course) by learning the tactic. People already get pissed off and complain about the AI learning their tactic on their losing streak when it doesn't exist in it's entirety. What do you think will happen when SI implements this?
