    Version 1.12 is out
    Download link is the same: https://www.mediafire.com/file/dairo10ouel7sf9/Dark_Polish_Skin_21.zip/file

    - dark scoreboard with club logos instead of 6-letter names
    - improved player traits visibility in player attributes screen - for @kandersson
    - you can activate backgrounds in full by removing "." from ".client object browser.xml" file name - for @Barnetfan

    Thank you mate appreciated! Where is this .xml located? Cannot seem to find it in any of the folders

    You can easily increase it on the Attributes screen, that screen is controlled by the player profile personal details xml file found in the panels\player folder which you'll need to extract from the panels fmf file and copy over, in that file locate the code near the top of the file that looks like this;

    <!-- Profile picture -->
    <widget class="picture" id="prop" scale_picture="true" keep_aspect_ratio="true" image_alignment="centre_x,bottom">
    <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="all" inset="
    40,40,0,0" />

    Those four inset values determine the position of the player face, in the order; top, left, bottom, right - so first number tells the game how much space to leave at the top of the container, second is how far from the left. Lowering those values will make the face bigger.

    There is also similar code above that which does the same for the logo so you can play around with the positioning until you are happy, you can also change the bits on the other line as well if you wish.

    Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the size of the faces (or logos) on mass, you need to manually edit the various xml files, though in various other places the game does fill the space.

    I cannot find the panels\player folder. I only have a client_object folder within panels, forgive me if I'm being thick.

    Also how do I colour the bar at the top when on a team screen (ideally coloured to match the team colours), its currently see-through.

  3.  Need help seeing where I'm going wrong with these two formations.

    The First tactic (4-1-2-2-1) - This is my home tactic and against inferior opposition. Essentially what I am aiming for with this formation is to dictate play, but not where its easy for the other team to put a low block and stop us quite easily, I want my striker to score the goals. What seems to be happening is what usually happens, I have about 25 shots, 6 on target with 60% possession and score 0. They then score with their first attack. In terms with of PI I have not touched these as I believe it complicates the tactics. The RW doesn't seem to have a good game rating wise, whoever I play there and my centre midfield attack player seems to score the majority of my goals. I had to change my striker to an f9 as he was essentially contributing the square root of you know what. He seems to be involved a lot more as a f9 but never looks like scoring.

    The second tactic (4-4-1-1) - This is my away tactic, I predominantly want to invite teams on, playing quite tight and then explode on the counter attack with my striker playing off the shoulder. The problem I have with this tactic is that I'm nowhere near as solid as I would like defensively and teams seem to be able to cut me open quite easily. Creating guilt edge chances is quite good, I'll get about 6 chances a game and 4 or 5 them are good chances.

    Might be jumping the gun with this lad.

    Devon Arnold of Yeovil Town looks an excellent prospect for the Vanarama leagues.

    When I arrived at Yeovil from Braintree he was already out on loan at Truro, where he scored 12 goals in 18 appearances for the Southern League Premier outfit. For the start of 2020/21 the wage budget needed to be cut so, for me, he would feature in the first team. So far 9 goals in 9 appearances.

    Report has him as operating at Vanarama National level, with the potential to be a League Two striker.

    A small fast striker with decent finishing, first touch needs to be improved but nonetheless looks an excellent prospect in the Vanarama's - League 2.

    Think he must have been injured on mine as he hasn't developed at all, here he is on mine two years older and nowhere that level.

  5. Leon Maloney I got for my Wrexham team at the start of the first season for 14k (in installments) from Portsmouth. He's RW and has the potential to be a championship winger and on arrival was a leading player in the national league. He was even in the dream starting 11 in the season preview.

    I signed Thomas Oualembo who has been mentioned on a previous post and can confirm he's amazing, scored 20 the first season in an average team but my second season when I was promoted he scored 40 goals in 46 games. He will not sign a contract and wants to leave but nobody has met his release clause of 1.9million even though theres 20 odd clubs after him.

    Recommend you take a look at Malik Batmaz, I bought him from Karlsruhe for 300k. He plays as a striker but as all the attributes to be trained as an attacking midfielder. Before I left Lincoln to take the Everton job I rejected an offer of 3.5 million from Norwich, only 19 at the start of the game so plenty of potential.

  7. Signed this guy for Lincoln from Porto for £1.1m I'm in my fifth season, so he's only 16 at the start of the game. Not sure id his stats are random but he has developed into a really good striker with plenty of further development.

    Signed this lad for my Everton team after I left Lincoln, only 16 at the start of the game at Anderlecht, would be worth keeping an eye on all your saves.

    Couldn't avoid that one. If he pulls the strings a little bit, then hes done his job :D

  9. I'm in my third season and Ronan Darcy has signed for Newcastle in the premier league so that on the face of it is a cracking signing. I am currently Lincoln in League One sitting in second in January. I recommend to everyone Malik Batmaz a striker playing for Karlsruher in Germany, got him for 200k and is banging them in. Top of the training charts every month and is now being linked with top championship clubs and PSG of all clubs?!

    P.S - Does anyone know how to screenshot on a Mac? I would like to post a few images of players I have come across

    It seems to be working very well at the moment. Which season were you sacked?

    Olise played a couple of times in pre season, I will take a closer look at him, cheers!

    Second season, finished 11th first season. They wanted a mid table finish second season, I was 20th but only 3 or 4 points from12th and I got the chop. They're flying now with my old assistant manager.

    I ended my Southend save before it even got going and have now taken charge of Reading.

    Pre season has just finished and it has gone very well. We started with a 3-0 win over Eastleigh, followed by a brilliant 2-1 win over a very strong Spurs line-up. Next up was a 7-0 away win over Coleraine, a 0-0 draw with Slavia Prague, a 1-0 win away at Sunderland, a 4-0 win against Hungerford and finally a 3-0 home victory against Tranmere.

    Next up is our first competitive match of the season at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

    We have only made one signing so far in Tyrell Warren as a back up CB on a free transfer. Our club captain Liam Moore was subject of an £8,000,000 bid from Palace (he is valued at £10,000,000) so I asked for a deal worth £12,000,000 which I thought was reasonable. Palace said no, Moore kicked off and said I priced him out of a move. I told him if Palace bid £10,000,000 I would let him go and he replied I was being ridiculous :D  Hopefully I can keep him happy and maintain a tight knit squad.

    I am playing a 4-1-4-1 DM Wide. Cautious and direct, very much like Burnley :D

    Speaking as someone who has just been sacked by Reading, the board are very tight. There is a lot of deadwood that are hard to budge. I don't think the burnley approach will work with Reading they have a lot of technical players in Swift, Ojaria, Loader & Olise. If you can get Olise into that team you will not regret it, will be able to sell him for 20 odd million in a year or two.

  12. Sacked whilst one place above the relegation places in November, only 4 pints from 12th, they wanted a mid table finish which i'm sure I would of delivered on.

    Ejaria didn't set the world alight and I started to lean on Olise more so as he was top of training every month and was developing nicely.

    Shame as I was enjoying the save and had got a team to fit my style just wasn't afforded the time. So hard to score goals in this FM in my view.
