To be honest it’s kind of pointless as from the 2 different games I’ve loaded from scratch the u18s have different potentials

Cheers, I had a look this morning when I finished work (bloody night shifts on beta week!) and managed to get it and so started a new game with them. So it seems that most of our Youth players have random potential values as Shea Lacey is now a 3 1/2 star potential player where as Mainoo has gone from a 2 star potential player in my original loaded save to either 4 1/2 - 5 star potential on the save made with the name fixes

Well I managed to get a very quick look around the Man Utd squad on the beta before having to leave for work. Noticed that I had a 4 1/2 star potential Shea Lacey and isak hansen-aarøen, will be restarting the save again tomorrow hopefully if the FM24 name fix is out by then so will get to see if they’ve got fixed or random potentials

Back to the streamers - in a positive way. i don’t get to watch much but was it WorktheSpace during a streamer showdown who screamed out Julian Brandt in full German accent when he scored? Cause that was absolutely hilarious, pretty sure I was watching Zealand at the time and you could just hear it over what Zealand was saying

To be honest I’ve been using plug and plays for the last 2/3 fms mostly due to the fact that my laptop keeps micro freezing so trying to watch a tactic to see how it plays has been nearly impossible as every 15-20 seconds it freezes and then skips forward by like 10 seconds. For FM24 I went and brought a new gaming laptop so from now on it’s full on creating tactics only for me

At this point you realise you’re starting to sound like a 6 year old that’s upset that the neighbours kids got ice cream whilst you have to wait until you’ve eaten your dinner……your gonna get access to the beta you just have to wait. No one at SI is gonna turn around and decide that they have to release the beta because your complaining on the forums

So your advice would be to not give alpha access to big members of the FM community because in your opinion is does sell many extra copies and do what exactly? Just release the beta slightly earlier? I mean if that’s the point your getting at that’s worse for them as a business

The amount of people complaining about YouTubers and streamers getting early access, do you know how the games industry works? Also those complaining about not having the beta yet, you realise that SI aren’t contracted nor do they have any requirement to give us a beta? They chose to do it so that a. We get earlier access to the game instead of waiting for the full release and b. Enables them to get more info on bugs that can be resolved quicker rather than doing just a full release and then us waiting months for bugs to be resolved or addressed I.e. Cyberpunk. Be grateful for the beta (whenever SI decide to release it) and stop your complaining
