I’m thinking if we get the beta this week it’ll be tomorrow or Thursday. Doesnt Miles normally do his stat round up of the previous game before the beta releases?

In the past I’ve had FM on my laptop whist playing my PS Vita and also watching the footie on TV

Hey everyone, Just a quick question, is there a way to see overall club records rather than records for each season from when you start a save? For example, can I see the records that show that Rooney has 253 goals and that Giggs has 271 assists for Man Utd, rather than Rashford scored 18 goals in 22/23. Im pretty sure that it was in some of the previous games.

The players I’ve been looking at have all been UK based and the majority have been ex Swansea, Cardiff and Newport players (been trying to avoid having to move be an issue) Again I agree your not going to uproot family and whatnot for an amateur contract but if your local to the area of the club, 18/19 years of age, haven’t played for a club for a year and have no clubs interested in you then surely even an amateur contract is worth it

Hey guys just wanting to question whether anyone else finds that unattached players are either stupid or badly programmed. This stems from my a British Steel challenge attempt where I’m playing as Swansea Uni in the Welsh second division. Now I understand and completely agree that as an amateur club in a very low reputation league I’m not gonna be attracting high quality players but what I don’t understand is how players that are of National League quality (still better than The Welsh second division) won’t even consider joining my club and the worst part is that a lot of them use the excuse of that it won’t be a good career move when a lot of the players I’ve been trying to get haven’t be signed to a club for over a year and some of them haven’t even made they’re professional debut. Now I can understand if they’ve just been released or I’ve they’re a high profile player but to have never played a game and to not have been at a club for a year it just seems ridiculous that they wouldn’t want to join a club

Hey Nak great thread as always. Just a question from someone who’s trying their hand at a British Steel challenge and is struggling in the second tier in Wales. Im using the Sacchi tactic from the first page of this thread and was wondering how you prioritised attributes when playing with such poor players?

Thanks for the advice guys, don’t suppose you’ve got any sort of advice on what level of attributes I should be looking at per division? The only one I really I know is that for the top division you want 15+ on the attributes needed for a players position

Hey all, As the threat title suggests I’m after help when it comes to lower league management. I’ve recently started as save trying to do the British Steel challenge and I’m starting in the Welsh 2nd division as Swansea Uni. Now I’ve never really done lower league and it’s just ridiculous, no matter what tactic I try and use I just seem to lose and it’s starting to grate just due to how I’m losing. I can take losing under normal circumstances but to constantly lose due to giving a way penalties almost every game (sometimes 2 or 3 a game) to losing to long balls over my defence (which I understand as the level of defending is terrible) but whenever I try that the defence is able to close down my player, who immediately shoots when the defender comes near them (usually around 25-30 yards from goal) whereas the opposing team players continue running towards my goal before shooting and inevitably scoring. Anyways any and all help to try and get a grips on managing in the lower leagues is appreciated.

Nah with the challenges you do in your saves mate your entitled to use with ever tactic you want. Hell I’d be keeping up with your scars if you were using the Classic FM12 Grid tactic

Seems like it might be good for the early part of my British Steel challenge attempt, I need something to use with Swansea Uni

Tresoldi finished the season with a record of: Apps: 22(2), Goals: 26, Assists: 2, PoTM: 8 and Av Rate: 7.62. Quite possibly the best January signing I’ve ever made in an FM save

Hey all just got 2 quick question I want to ask people. Firstly, anyone else having issues playing against Big Teams like Man City and Liverpool? In my save every time I play them 1of 3 scenarios happen. 1. I get beat easily as my team plays awful. 2. City or Liverpool go 1 up as none of my players bother to tackle a play as he casually takes the ball towards my goal and then he shoots and it trickles past my keeper. I will then do nothing all game and then score just to have it disallowed for offside and then they win 1-0. 3. Same as No. 2 except I do score and then in the next highlight they score due to one of my players passing it straight to them or I give away a penalty. No surely I can’t be the only one this is happening to? Secondly, has anyone actually won a penalty shoot out? I’ve had about 8 or 9 penalty shoot outs and not once has an opposition team missed a penalty let alone have my team win a shoot out.

If your after a striker and want a younger player to develop may I suggest: I’ve just brought him during the Jan transfer window of my second season and he’s got 8 goals in 5 matches as an AF, cost me £31m and is classed as a Wonderkid

Hey @Desmond Richardson I saw there was an update a few days later on the app which had Create-a-club fixes and it’s been working since that update, thank 👍

After some more testing I’ve found that I can add players from England (I’m creating a PL club) James Ward-Prowse was my test player and the game starts correctly and let’s me play the save but when I did the same test with Endrick it kicked my out of the game and closed the game down

England blew it but congratulations to France, I’m sure the refs buzzing to be in the semi finals

With Portugal out and Argentina and Croatia both looking kinda ropey, this game could be for all the marbles

Anyone else finding that your TIs seemingly do nothing this year? I play with shorter passing and high closing down and yet consistently in every game my players a hoofing the ball miles (9/10 times to the opposition) and they always let the opposition run pass them with out getting close or trying to tackle

Rashford gets on the ball once and has done more than Mount

No sure which is more shocking, the performance or that Mount is probably gonna pay 90 minutes
