  1. New try. This time we come back to England. Radcliffe FC sounds good. The season preview puts us in the 20° place, so I hope I won't be fired in the middle of the season if things goes 5-6 points. The squad this time has 30 (thirty!) players. It's a nice starting point I guess. But we never know. I'll let you know if we success in the surviving challeng in the first season. This is my manager profile.
  2. Come on! . It was being my best try so far. Unbelievable.
  3. Well, as I mentioned I lasted only a couple of months in Belarus until I've got fired . It's frustrating but I really want to have a long save doing this challenge and I'll try again and again if it's necessary. Actually my fear is to be known as the annoying user that starts a different save twice a week, I promess I want to have a long and succesful one. I thought about not posting anything until I survive the first season, but it's not the same. I don't feel good if I don't post from the very beggining. I changed country again, this time I chose a country that I've never played on: Scotland. I like that they have four divisions and I like even more that to be relegated you have to be in the last position and also lose a playoff. I simulated many times until I got a promoted team in the cinch League Two and this team is East Kilbride. The season preview places us in the third position so we are not candidates to be relegated. It's my best chance to survive this cursed first season for me, Diego Castillo Flores.
  4. Guys... I can't. I tried everything in every save but it's always the same. Could you give me some advices to survive the first season? And I'll start the definitive save, but I need help :P.
  5. New journey. This time I decided to start in Belarus, a country that was one of my favourites when I was a child. Not sure why, maybe a mix between the name, the flag and Alexander Hleb. I always wanted to see Belarus on the World Cup. Stenles Pinsk is one of the three recently promoted teams to the Pieršaja Liha. I selected them because they have a reasonable amount of players in its squad. My job will be decide who is better than who and close a list of 15-16 players in which I'll rely. This is the manager profile. I hope I created the profile following all the rules. I don't think I'll have success, though, but I'll try my best as always. By the way, the club appears in all the places as Stanles and not Stenles, but as in the game it says Stenles I'll keep it.
  6. BAGSHOT - ENGLAND (9° LEVEL) New try. Yes, again. This time I'll change a little bit the direction. It was being hard to me survive the relegation from the Vanarama National League North/South, so I thought: what if I start the journey in a lower league? Of course I had to download a database, but I think it is allowed for this challenge. It's the Dan's one, the one with 20 levels on England. I decided to start in the 9th, in the Combined Counties League Premier South. I simulated a season and I chose from one of the promoted teams: Bagshot. The squad is very short, so the challenge is always the same: try to not lose any player in the first title and avoid the relegation, so I can start building a team with the first generation of regens. Only one club will be relegated this season, I hope will not be us. [+] Bagshot's squad [+] Combined Countes League Premier South [+] Season preview [+] Manager's profile
  7. KETTERING TOWN - ENGLAND I got fired in the third season with AFC Telford. I'm not stopping, though. I'll repeat the challenge again and again until I have success. Let's try again with Ketterign Town. It was the best choice possible looking the facilities and recruitment stars. Squad looks good, in terms of amount of players, but we can't be sure right now because some of them will leave the club before the season starts. And this is the manager profile. I think it was the first time I created the save without license errors. Goal of the first season: avoid the relegation and keep a squad of at least 18 players.
  8. AFC Telford United (Pre-season 3 - 2026/27) [<-] PREVIOUS SEASON Oh my god, again. This season was unbelievable. Every match counted, and I watched the last two matches with a huge intensity. It was insane. We made 4 loses and 1 draw in our lasts 5 matches but well, it doesn't matter anymore. We have to improve for the next season. We only lost Dinanga, so it shouldn't be an excuse to be a worse team than the season before. The season preview placed us in the 22nd place, that's real, but I didn't expect fighting the regelation zone until the last minute. And I'm serious, Southport won the game against Bradford PA in the 86'. It was insane. We haven't found our system in this season, sadly. We lost our best player, Ricardo Dinanga, at the beggining of the season. We also lost Fraser Kerr by retiring. Kyle Storer will retire in a couple of weeks. He did it so bad this season. I mean I don't want to be mean, but he sucked. I hope he find happiness the next year. Some stats: Jordan Piggott was the only player who played more than 4000 minutes; Xavier Shaw had a good season with 7 goals and 10 assists; Twariq Yusuf had great matches and poor ones too, he couldn't be the player that we needed with the Dinanga transfer out; Alex Coultas [25-A] is the best player from our first generation of regens, the assistand had told me and he was right. With him in the field things could happen. Hopelly he'll be more consistant the next season. I'm a little disappointed with Theodore Alabi [25-B], and I think Aaron Mercer [25-E] did okay. Sorry for the faces, I changed them after I took the screenshots. However, it seems like a promising generation, with seven players in the 'Elite' section. I don't have much to say because I haven't analyzed them yet. For the next season I have to think about how big I want to have the squad. Currently we have 45 players and I believe it is a lot, because many of them don't play games and are not ready for real matches if needed. I will probably release 5-10 players for the beggining of season 2026/27. [+] Best XI 2025/26 award [+] U18 Youth Alliance League South-West
  9. AFC Telford United (Pre-season 2 - 2025/26) [<-] PREVIOUS SEASON Oh my god. I made it. We made it. Of course I'm not talking about the full challenge. But yes: we survived the first season . Believe me that is a huge achievement for me. I tried three times before this one and in every save I got relegated. We did a great job in this one. We started solid the season, had bad results in the middle, but we did great overall. You cand find our results here. We started with 3 wins in our first 4 matches. It couldn't fail and luckily it has not. The league table was tough, though. You can see we only finished with 6 points more than the relegated Hereford, and with a very poor goal difference (minus 18). Of course at the beggining of the season we lost players. We always lose players, god. Five in total, three of them were thought as first team players. I had to change tactics to fit better our new squad, first to a 5-4-1 and finally to a 4-4-2. All the offensive players were doing a great job plus I hadn't many defenders, the 4-4-2 was a better option to end the season, and it worked. You can see the full stats there, but I want to recognize with a player profile picture the best ones: Piggott, Kerr (mostapps); Gibson, Stenson (most goals); Myles and Shaw (most assists). We will have to fight against transfers out again, we'll try our best to improve our first season. Last but not least important are the new players. I decided to use the nicknames to recognize how wrong the assistants are . They came when we had three matches left in the league. Some of them made their debuts in those games. But there is not a great player really, no one came with the security to be a first team player. I sign evereyone because we don't know what can happen with transfers out, but I'm not really excited with anyone. For my assistant, the best ones are Alex Coultas and Theodore Alabi. I agree but I'd like to add Derek Walker and Jacob Evans to the list. Oh, and I signed a new contract for a year, happy for that. 10. AFC Telford United (Season 1 - 2024/25) Yes. Third try in only two forum pages. It only makes sense if you read me when I said I'm the worst FM player in the world. I won't stop, I want a long save, I want to achieve something. So, here I am. Let's try with England, the country with the most success ratio in this topic. I've chosen AFC Telford United because of its facilities plus youth recruitment. It was the best option. 24 teams in the Vanarama National League North, 4 of them will be relegated at the end of the season. It can't be so difficult, god. The season preview places us in the 19th place. It would be amazing. We have 24 players in the squad. 23 if we don't count Reece Styche, who's retiring in a few days. We must keep all the other players. It's crucial, especially in the first season. In the future it won't be so important because we are receiving new players every season, but the first 9 months we can't sign anyone. There are five wanted players: Dinanga, Bood, Walker, Whitty and Scott. Ricardo Dinanga is also our best player. Double reason to keep him. As always, I'll make my own report and create a tactic based on that. I'm going to do something different if I don't want to be relegated once again, but I'm not sure what yet. 11. IFK Lidingö FK (Sweden) Okay, new try . After my failure in Wales ― I lasted less than a season ― I start a new journey in Sweden. I think I had luck with the promoted teams, because I found this IFK Lindigö FK which have more stars in the facilities and recuirment than the others. I hope I'll help me to not be relegated in the first season again. Sweden has four levels, and the fourth one (Division 2) is divided into six leagues. We are in the Division 2 Norra Svealand. I've never played in Sweden so it will be fun. Many players trained at club, so is great, but the squad is very short, only 16 players. We need all of them, so I hope no one leaves the club. In wales my main problem was the player exodus. Our best players according to our assistant coach are three defenders: Hugo Lemme, Jesper Stokki and Gabriel Flores Englert. Of course I take it, here are also good players in the attack, I think we have a solid base. I leave here my profile as head coach by the way.
  12. I don't know how to tell you... It hurts... We are relegated so it's over . I'll try to learn about this experience and try again. My biggest problem was players going to other clubs in free transfers. I realized so late that I could keep them by offering new contracts. Now you understand why I said I'm the worst player ever. My excuse:
  13. Oh, my bad, thanks. I solved it. Luckily I only needed two restarts to get the same team. I edited my previous post with the new images, but the rest of the things are still valid . Thanks god I hadn't started the analysis of the squad.
  14. Conwy Borough (Wales) First of all, thanks for all the welcomes that I've received. Since I discovered this thread I felt eager to start my own jorney. After thinking a lot I decided to play in Wales. I live in Argentina and I'm planning a travel to UK next end of year, so I watched many videos of the region to plan everything and learn about the cultures. I chose Wales instead of England just to play in a different leagues that I always do. Wales has only two divisions (second one is divided into North and South) but I think that's okay. We can make a healthy plan: avoid relegation, build a team to fight the promotion, be promoted to first division, avoid relegation again and then fight for european competition places before actually fighting for the title. I'll be clear with something: I am probably the worst player that Football Manager has ever seen. I play it since 2007 but I'm bad, really bad. But of course I'll try my best. And I think having this limitations (no transfers) will help to know better my squad and build the best possible team. The only fact of have progress will be a huge success for me. I hope you enjoy this story as well as I will do. You can look the full squad in two parts: part one - parte two. The best players of the squad are Alex Roberts, Ant Marshall and Toby Jones, two in the midfield and one defender. I wouldn't trust so much in the reports though, they were made by our goalkeeper coach. I will take my time to see one by one all the players and have my own report. Roberts was trained at club which is always desirable for us. I'll close this brief day 1 report with some information of the club. We don't have reputation, we don't have good facilities. Finances I think are okay. The journey won't be short, but I hope it will be enjoyable. Please don't leave me alone and join us. Last thing: my language is spanish. I haven't decided yet if I will write in spanish and use some kind of translator or if I'll write directly in english (I speak it in an intermediate level). This one was option 2, but it can change in the following updates. I hope you understand me in both ways .
  15. OMG! How could it be that I found this only now? It's incredible. Congrats to all of you. I want to participate. What the number/letters in the players means? I saw many of you use it. Thanks!
