  1. Other Enfield Clubs 2031/32 Season An unbelievably good season for Enfield clubs! The top 3 (Enfield Town, Hinton & Bush Hill Rangers) have all been promoted, with Cockfosters missing out on the party after failing at the playoffs. Enfield Borough did get relegated this year down to tier 11. I will be keeping close tabs on their progress as I do not want another club to be relegated below this division into the unplayable leagues! Since the start of the save there have been 10 promotions and 7 relegations. Enfield Town 8th, 17th, 17th, 16th, 16th, 18th, 10th, 17th, 2nd Tier 8 Hinton 1st, 1st, 1st, 8th, 5th, 5th, 2nd, 10th, 1st Bush Hill Rangers 3rd, 1st, 3rd, 14th, 3rd, 11th, 6th, 4th, 2nd Tier 9 Cockfosters 9th, 5th, 3rd, 4th, 21st, 7th, 9th, 7th, 5th Tier 10 Enfield FC 12th, 14th, 12th, 10th, 18th, 4th, 18th, 21st, 10th Enfield Borough 19th, 11th, 15th, 15th, 15th, 11th, 19th, 18th, 22nd Tier 11 Cockfosters Reserves 12th, 10th, 10th, 3rd, 15th, 3rd, 4th, 5th Tier 13 Brimsdown 21st, 7th, 11th, 9th, 11th, 18th, 13th, 4th, 7th
  2. Cup Final Even before we faced them in the final, Dartford were unsettling Harrison by making bids for him. They play in the tier above us (7), but ran away with the league title this season so will be playing in the 6th tier next year. We were up against it and huge underdogs. We battled, but they always had control of the game and we have to settle for the runners' up medals.
  3. Playoff Final Weakened by the loss of 5 members of our squad, I was worried. And going down 1-0 to a penalty just before half-time made me fear the worst, but we bounced back. After having a very wobbly end to the season, Humphreys got two of the assists (and a MotM rating) as we went 3-1 up, before conceding late-on from a free-kick. It was tense for the last ten minutes but we held on to get (what I think is) a deserved promotion to tier 7!
  4. Playoff Semi-Final Back to it! I was worried with a few key absentees, we could be left wanting, but we restricted them to long shots (and a penalty) and we were clinical ourselves. We now have two finals to finish the season. We could gain promotion and win the cup, or we could end up with nothing. We will be without a trio of players who have been banned for racking up yellow cards as we as a club break the league's disciplinary record.
  5. Cockfosters Season 2031/32 Cockfosters managed to sneak into the Playoffs on the last day of the season as Dunstable slipped up on the final day. But the promotion hopes did not last long. Cockfosters Reserves Season 2031/32 This was Dean Morgan's FOURTH full season with Cockfosters & Cockfosters Reserves already and both sides have consistently fallen short of promotion. Maybe it's time to think about a different approach?
  6. Final Day Agonising. Our worst performance of the season by far. We didn't have a shot until past the hour mark, and I thought we were off the hook when Doyley scored with our first shot on target - but they didn't take long to respond and then we couldn't find a response in the final minutes. Was a draw enough to stay ahead of Hinton? No. And we'll be without our main man up-front for the Playoffs and the Cup Final.
  7. Penultimate Match The answer is yes, we've blinked! We've been held to a stalemate against Wembley - which we were lucky not to lose in the last 10 minutes where they had some huge chances. Luckily, Hinton also crashed to a 3-2 loss against Woodley and that means we've leap-frogged them into top spot with one game to go! Win and we're champions!
  8. Promotion Race Both us and Hinton have continued our perfect winning streak. Will either team blink? Our Fixtures Hinton's Fixtures Table
  9. Youth Intake 2032 From Enfield 2024 (12 of 16) 2025 (9 of 16) 2026 (8 of 16) 2027 (13 of 16) 2028 (11 of 16) 2029 (11 of 16) 2030 (9 of 16) 2031 (11 of 16) 2032 (12 of 16) The first thing I noticed is that the potential for players are not all 5 stars (as has been the case every year up until now). Luckily, 3 of the worst players by potential are players we've had to release as they're not from Enfield. The next thing I noticed was the player personalities. Here it seems that the better personalities are with those players we are releasing (one Pro, two FPro & one Temp). Hopefully the Causal personalities for both Onuh & Breen will not hamper their progress. -> Comparing this intake with the rest of the squad, Onuh is the 6th-best player at the club already! Looking at the standout players at the club, we have four players from the 4th intake, one from the 5th, one from the 6th, three from the 7th, two from the 8th and now also one from the 9th. It can't be too long now until we start receiving decent bids from decent clubs for some of our best players. Youth Intake 2032 From Enfield 2029 (10 of 16) 2030 (7 of 17) 2031 (9 of 16) 2032 (10 of 16) Unfortunately, the top 2 players were not from Enfield, but we have 3 other players coming through with decent current ability. There are two Pro personalities from Enfield, but again I think the personalities could be a lot better. (I wonder if Youth Recruitment, which I have reduced to 1, plays any role in the personalities of the players). -> Comparing to the rest of the squad, we have too many players on loan from Bush Hill to understand the club's progress. Removing players on loan - we can see that this is great progress for Cockfosters. Kalambayi & Shepherd are the 3rd & 4th best players that the club has on permanent contract and there are a lot of potential squad players who could improve the fortunes of both the Main & Reserves teams.
  10. Promotion Race We both face Woodley & Cheshunt in our last 4 games. They also play 3rd place Fleet and 16th place Haddenham, whilst we also have 6th place Wembley and 10th place Winchester.
  11. Mar 2032 We have really turned on the style at the business end of the season, smashing 4-or-5 goals in each league game and also making it to the final of the Velocity Cup, where we will face already-promoted tier 7 side Dartford. Despite our dominance, we're still behind Hinton and there's only 4 games to go...
  12. Feb 2032 Eight games to go and we've climbed back up to 2nd position, 3 points points off of Hinton. It was a shame we couldn't score at Bishops Storford, but we've been the better team in every game! Both us & Hinton started in the 11th tier at the start of the save. They beat us to the title in our first season (we only managed a 3rd place finish) and have finished ahead of us every season until last season. This season they've had a resurgence and it looks like we're creating a local rivalry! We have a terrible head-to-head record with them, but the 95th minute winner we got at the end of last month is proving ever so important when we look at the table. That was only the 2nd win I've managed against them in 10 attempts - we hadn't won against them since 2023!
  13. Dec 2031 & Jan 2032 Tooting managed to end our unbeaten run on a rare day where we failed to score. We managed to get back to winning ways in the Velocity Cup and ended the month with a hugely pivotal result against fellow Enfield-based club Hinton. They are top of the league and running away with it so a win was important to keep our automatic promotion hopes alive. After half an hour we were two-nil down and the game looked done, but a quick-fire double before half time meant there was everything to play for in the 2nd half and both clubs really went for it. Wicks got sent off with 15 minutes to go and we looked destined to concede. Heroic defending kept the score level until we broke away in the 95th minute and Harrison found a winner!!! This match and result felt pivotal and I hope we can continue to close the gap to Hinton at the top - if we win our game in hand, it's only 4 points.
  14. Staff In (& Out) I made the decision to upgrade our assistant manager. Dunkin joined us in Feb 2026 but always declined going on coaching courses and did not improve over the years with the club so I thought we should move in another direction as ex-player Judd became available and is a big improvement. 16. Nov 2031 What difference a month can make! Not just the wins, but the manner of the victories, hitting 6 twice in a month! Not winning against Winchester seems like a shame now. We're still 6 points off of the top but this month shows we can keep pace and battle for the title. I hope we can keep this up!
  17. Oct 2031 Our poor form continued so I switched things up tactically before the Farnham game and we got our first completely convincing win of the season. That was immediately followed by a defeat, but I kept with the same tactical approach to win 3 on the spin. I was in a good mood going into the final game of the month thinking we had turned a corner, but two late goals from Bishops Stortford has left us outside of the playoff places and potentially a big distance from would-be-league-leaders Merstham who have a few games in hand on everyone else. Also something that hasn't helped lighten my mood either is that our entire starting XI is wanted by other clubs!
  18. Staff In I paid actual money (£1,900) to bring in ex-Bush Hill Rangers player and brilliant (for our level) coach Mostafa Kamel. He joins right-back Bryan and ex-Bush Hill Rangers captain Carter in our backroom staff.
  19. Sep 2031 We were knocked out on penalties in the FA Vase and lost our unbeaten record in the league to fellow Enfield-based club Hinton to sum up a disappointing start to the campaign. We still have one more cup competition we'll be involved in this season and despite dropping so many points already in the league, we're only 4 points off of top spot and we have a game in hand.
  20. Aug 2031 A mixed start, including another year where we've been beaten early on in the FA Cup. I would love a cup run in this save, we haven't come close to one for a long time!
