[FM20 will not start/launch]

Thanks for the replies guys, so...

I have updated Windows to the latest version, re-installed the game and it still does not start.

I cannot test the demo because -

When i uninstall FM20 and click to download the demo, Steam installs my full FM20 game back up instead.

When FM20 is installed and i click download demo, it does not download.

I hope theres a patch to fix this problem soon,  as other users in this section of the forum have been reporting they can not start the game also.

Uninstalled Avast and re-installed FM20, it still will not load up.

I have not been able to play this game once since buying it pre-release, can i get some help please?

Still not working, i even changed the Nvidia settings to 'maximum perfomance' no change.

Could someone please check the Dx.Diag i had posted above and let me know what's wrong, as i believe errors regarding FM20 are being reported in the file , thank you.

I tried it both ways and just did a clean uninstall/install of Nvidia and it's drivers, uninstalled/installed the game from Steam again and it still says preparing to launch FM20, show that's it's running then nothing back to the play button.

Last time i checked the editor does not load up eithier.

There is no FM20 cache folder (older fm cache folders are still there) or Documents FM20 folder with tactics, graphics etc..

The game installs to 3.8GB, FM20 folder in steam app shows 4.86GB.

When i look at installed games on window 10 the game is there but with no installed size listed.

I have tried to start the game by clicking on Fm20 desktop icon, from the FM.exe file and inside the Steam games libary.

Each time it says 'preparing to launch to FM20' but then fizzles out to nothing loading.

Says running in Steam but then stops and resets back to the 'play button'.

PC specs are fine, installed/unistalled FM20 5 times and verified game files several times, tried to run FM20 as administrator, uninstalled anti-virus devices, Windows security settings all checked, updated NVIDIA graphics card, tried updating Windows 10, rolled back windows to an earlier restore point and also tried to locate FM20 cache folder but there is not one.

Some help would be appreciated.
