  1. nb. I'm playing FM22. My team's stadium (according to both the in-game facilities screen, and the FMRTE editor), has a 20k capacity, all seater, stands on four sides, all with roofs. However, in the 3D match engine during games it shows as having two stands, only one with a roof, and two empty ends. Is there a way to fix this? All threads I've seen point to editing the stadium data in something like FMRTE, but the stadium data already has everything I listed above; there's just a total disconnect between the graphics and what the rest of the game thinks is going on. It's not a game breaker, but obviously kills the suspension of disbelief Miles talks about when you're hosting Real Madrid in the CL Semi Finals and the commentator is talking about a packed and noisy 20k arena and it looks like you're ground-sharing with a village side. Any hints as to fixing this disconnect? Either by making the game properly draw what its own data says is there, or overruling it by editing/re-skinning to get a stadium that looks like it ought to on match days? Thanks in advance!
  2. Thank you @NineCloudNine, that's an interesting approach! I'm playing FM22 so I only have three subs to utilise, but I like that rotating but within games appraoch. This has been instructive, cheers again to you both!
  3. Thanks @Vođi, this is very helpful. Funny you say you wouldn't do is swap two XIs in and out each game; this level of rotation is how I've basically been running my team for 11 in-game seasons! I've always prioritised being fully fit over anything else, but will test your suggestions above over the coming weeks in-game, and see how I get on.
  4. I have a ciuple of questions regarding tiredness in players, and training. For context, I'm at the business end of the season, competing on three fronts, currently placed 4th in the Premier League. This is my upcoming fixture list, played on a weekend-midweek-weekend pattern, with no weeks off: Europa League QF 1st Leg PL match vs 5th Europa League QF 2nd Leg FA Cup SF PL match vs 3rd PL match vs 6th All big 'must win' games. Historically what I would have done here is rotate near enough my entire side each game, but then know that I'm risking the result of at least half the matches. Firstly, to what degree will a "tired" player (partial green heart) drop off from their peak performance? As a general rule of thumb is it best to play your 1st choice tired, over your backup fully fit? Secondly, if I strip out much of the physical/technical training sessions and replace with recovery or time off, will this come back to bite me (e.g. does the game say "aha! no defending training this week? now you can't defend!")? Appreciate there is no hard and fast answer here, but very interested in some insights as to how the game handles fatigue and training. Thanks in advance.
  5. I'm playing a multiplayer game with a friend. I'm more of a consistent tactician, he's more of a tinkerer, so between us most bases covered. What unites us is an inability, even when we're running away with the league, to beat teams at the bottom of the division. Anecdotally we both felt these games were _always_ banana peels, and so I started monitoring it. Even as a top four Premier League side, no matter how long a winning streak I'm on, _every time_ I play a side in the bottom three I struggle; a smattering of draws but usually I lose these games. I haven't won one since I started monitoring. I'm becoming really frustrated with what's happening. I've tried tweaking tactics, bringing in fresh players, all to no avail. I feel like there's a complacency mechanic or something behind the scenes, and I haven't got a clue how to combat it. Obviously as with real life, being an FM manager means ups and downs, but losing yet again to a side that hasn't collected a point in eleven games is starting to take some of the fun out of it. I'm certain it's not chance; there's a game mechanic I'm being beaten by. On the flip side, I will not infrequently beat big clubs (Arsenal, Man City etc) by five goals. Feels like the same mechanic but flipped. Any advice?
