  1. I'm curious how other people set their attribute colors and what their reasoning is. For me, having so many numbers on the screen is hard to understand. I set my bad ratings to black so they are out of my focus. Average ratings are dark gray so they go out of focus, but I still can easily tell them apart from the bad ratings. My good ratings are blue and my excellent ratings are green. I do that because it sort of mirrors highlighted ratings as blue is preferable and green is key. This allows me to instantly see where a player is strongest since there's more contrast between poor/average and good/excellent ratings. Note: My rating thresholds are not default since I play in lower leagues. An average rating in the National South league is far lower than the top league.
  2. Actually Queensboro just announced that they are delaying until 2024 and will be joining the MLS next pro league instead
  3. This looks pretty incredible! What language is Morgsthia?
  4. lol, I think so too but that's why I'm asking. However, two people thinking doesn't make it true
  5. In my opinion, it's a huge design flaw, but your squad planner is tied to your tactic. If you clear a tactic slot, which I often do for various reasons, the squad planner that was tied to that tactic will also clear. The squad planner fails as a feature because of this. It misses the mark. The planner should be independently separate from your tactic slot. I should be able to delete a tactic without my planner getting deleted. I'm not even sure most people that used external spreadsheets had different sheets for different tactics. I would wager that most people has a single team sheet with their favorite formation and they fill in from there
  6. I consider myself an expert at OOTP and MLB rules. Feel free to message me if you ever have a question. I love talking baseball and OOTP
  7. You may want to check out the benchmarking thread, Thread Link, since it will give you an idea on sim times around the different range of processors. For me, if it's taking longer than 5-10 minutes (pure sim time) between games, it's far too long. I tend to play marathon sessions, so it's pretty disheartening to only play a few games after couple hours of play.
  8. I wish my PC could handle all leagues loaded without taking 20 minutes to move a week in game.
  9. The language barrier does have an effect, how much is unsure, on your player interactions. If your players are not responding to you, try delegating team talks to a staff member with better man management. I almost always exclusively play in the lower English leagues. Having 6 levels out of the box is incredibly immersive.
  10. I have 3 players in a mentoring group. 2 of them are senior players with significant influence and the other is a very young player who is affected significantly, all in the same training unit and position. Assuming I want traits from both senior players to be imparted onto the young player and assuming that I only have a need for this one player to be mentored, will he actually get double effects from both senior players?
  11. After buying Ajer for only 22.5 million pounds, he is set at the record when it should be Haaland to Man City for 51 million (a steal so foul, it should be illegal!)
  12. Type: Desktop Model: Alienware Aurora R11 CPU Model: Intel Core i9 10900KF CPU Base Frequency: CPU Turbo Frequency: RAM: 64 GB DDR 4 RAM Clockspeed: (IDK) DRAM Frequency is 1596.1 MHz GPU: GeForce RTX 2070 Super Graphics Level in 3D: Very High Benchmark 1: 0 min 58 Sec Benchmark 2: 2 min 06 Sec Benchmark 3: xx min xx Sec Benchmark 4: xx min xx Sec Here you go! I hope you are able to work out the blanks. Also, I happened to notice, and it may be intentional, test 2 did not have the English League Championship set to full detail. All other 2nd divisions were
  13. Human rights are not politics. My question has been answered, SI doesn't actually care about realism for long-term saves, so you can go ahead and lock this at it is inevitable.
  14. FM has truly become my sports sim of choice over the last couple years. Nothing beats drafting some 18 year old shortstop in the 20th round and seeing him turn into a hidden gem as he moves up your system, but FM has much more organizational strategy. It has it’s share of flaws, and I seriously dislike how non-transparent the development team is, but the game is unrivaled.
  15. I’m not all that familiar with youth development in the MLS, but I avoid mixing youth and senior players for many reasons. Often, the coaching is not suited for youth players, such as lower working with youth ratings. It can also limit their training sessions if you are making them available for youth games.
  16. In the MLS, academy players are not technically yours to call up at will. They need to be signed to a pro contract.
  17. Actually view only leagues will tend to grow your player count over time.
  18. I believe that setting goes off of the top division window. I’m in the vanarama south and was able to start signing players on Sep 2nd.
  19. It’s for this reason alone that I stopped having youth players train with the senior team.
  20. 3 positives : 1. Matches are more fun to watch. 2. I don’t have to wait 14 days to renegotiate after a breakdown 3. It’s cool that FM players get to experience the new Champions League format before anyone else. 3 negatives: 1. Management of Set pieces has been ignored once again. 2. International management has been ignored once again (a real shame for a WC year) 3. Disappointing that the squad planner is not very user friendly.
