I call complete bollocks on that explanation to why weight is being removed. Wasn’t it stated in this thread that weight did have little or no impact on the match engine? And then a fluctuation of a couple kg is so important that if not implemented it’s better to remove weight altogether? Absolutely no chance.

I like that idea but my guess is that it would be an extremely complex feature and too time consuming compared to the impact it would have. I imagine the licensing would be a problem as well.

The ”woke sh*t” was obviously about the weight being removed so i don’t think you should be questioning someone elses reading comprehension. 😁

Firstly that quote’s from another thread so you already failed there. Secondly all I see is he’s annoyed they dropped international management, they cut the weight and that he doesn’t care about women football and whether it’s in the game or not. You were supposed to quote someone from this thread who was angry that women football is in the game. You managed to quote someone from another thread who’s annoyed international management is gone and doesn’t care about women football.

I don’t think that’s something you need to worry about. Just pointing out that the only mention of anger or dislike was the post I quoted and that was in the opposite direction. Haven’t seen any of the posts you’re referring to.

I’m sure you could. Not sure why you would feel compelled to do that on a Football Manager forum though unless your uninterests are added to the game. And if you don’t understand why people on a FM forum expresses what features are interesting and not, you probably should stay off the internet.

Haha, I’m extremely familiar with how software development works, thank you. I get what you’re saying, and that is a possible (I wouldn’t have done it that way) scenario. But you just said it’s important to not jump to conclusions based on guesses and then concluded how you think it went down based entirely on your own guess.

So you’re saying that change to Unity+adding womens football is entirely possible within the given time frame, but change to Unity+international management isn’t? Because that is what’s being talked about, you’ve had that explained to you I don’t know how many times. And no, it’s not because I hate womens football or whatever you who think it’s a fantastic addition to the game are saying. It’s because I’m more interested in international management.

A real mystery! For me it’s because the unity change is something i look forward to trying out and the other is something i will never use. Can’t speak for everyone else though.

You said it will always be design drafts at that stage. I say they should be able to throw in a few screenshots from an alpha build at that stage. Sure anything can change after that but for me it would be much more interesting to see something from an actual build than from some design draft.

That’s nonsense. Of course they’ve got the game in an alpha (or hopefully beta) version state after years of development a few months before release. You think they push everything they’ve been working on for years together a couple of weeks before release and hope everything works?

Right there. I assume you think the decision to remove it to avoid body shaming is good. That implies you think body shaming because of weights being displayed in a football game is an issue. In another reply you say it couldn't be less important and in yet another one it's just to trim sh*t from the game. Which is it? And once again you have missed the point completely. The point is it's immersion breaking not being able to se the male footballer's weights in a football game supposed to simulate reality. Couldn't care less if the women's weights are included or not. And just to be clear, I have no problem what so ever with women's football being included in the game. The problem I have is the priority it has. How can it be prioritized to work for years to include it over making sure an existing feature of managing international football teams at least not disappears from the game? My opinion is that it's just pathetic box ticking.
