I won every game in the month finishing with an 8-0 thrashing of Forrest. I got a C for the 8-0 and a C+ overall. Im also 6 points clear at the top and through to the knockout in the CL. Do I have to tickle the chairmans balls or something?

I like to alt tab between matches while the game advances. I just realised that doing so halts the timeout, meaning its kinda pointless doing so. Is this a problem with my setup, or bug/feature for everybody? Cheers

I had the first Championship Manager on the Amiga, where all of the players were randomly generated, and you had to wait 15 minutes for the vidiprinter between matches. It worked its way around my year at school. The consensous was that it was the best football manager game. I still loved Player Manager because of the match engine, but that had massive limitations, where CM simulated a proper league setup. Also had the killler 2-3-5 formation. You could just get a bunch of 16 year olds with good pace/passing/shooting/tackling, and murder the opposition in the bottom division. By the time you got to the top they will have developed into superstars

Upgrading saves from version to version would be a holy grail. I had nearly 10,000 hours in one version. Each new version didnt seem like a big enough upgrade to stop playing. Id have paid for the newer version and carried on with my game if I could have.

Yeah... I did notwant to download another 3gb of pictures, and went with a smaller stadium pack, that apparently does not have the second image. I guess I could create an xml file which directs to the same image, but that seems like a major faff... (or maybe just a find and replace in worpad). I mean the logos had over 300,000 files... Thats insane. Whomever curated these must have godlike powers. I cant imagine what it would be like if I had onedrive turned on with 10 odd gigs of pictures just for one game. I as to draw the line at facpacks though, although for some reason some players do have faces. not sure if that is the logopack or if the game had licences for some players already. Lol... and I laugh at people who worry about skins in other games... (just play the game... just play the game...)

Hello Everyone... I have not played FM since 2019, so I am just getting back into the groove. Steam says I managed 9,495 hours in FM2014 and only 320 hours 2019. I turns out that I needed to get a life at the time. But now I am bored of life and need me some more Football Manager... The circle of life... And now it is time for me to rule the galaxy one again (no... Stellaris got boring too). Anyway! I have just started a new game with Liverpool, and I am struggling to find young players at bargin values. Now this might be because its a new game, and every player is already well known. I expect to find better value when contracts begin to expire and regens start to come through. I expect I need to do a lot of wheeling and dealing short term, as I cant afford 100m players, but in previous games, the plan was simple: 1. Camp the regen dates each year 2. Mass scout every new player 3. Sign the 4 and 5 star rated players (or any that looked like they had good stats). 4. Periodically scout nations u18-21 team for players that I missed 5. Get rich After 5 seasons these players start to break into the team, and you end up with a conveyer belt of mass produced wonderkids. My question is this... Is that even possible for an english team in FM2023? My knowledge of the rules is out of date, but I am seeing restrictions on the number of kids you can sign, where they are from, work permit requirements, loans back out etc, etc, etc. I doubt I can completely dominate Europe on home grown players alone. Hopefully after a few years of success I can still poach rivals kids like I used to by throwing a bit of cash at them. Its all a bit overwhelming to begin with. I am still getting to terms with squad management, but I need to completely drain my backroom staff of the dregs and recruit people that are absolutely awesome, which may take a while too... I need to relearn training too. I hav vague memories of doingf this in previous version, but I also have to aknowledge I may have gotten old since. There are new staff members which I need to understand (analytics??? I only bought the game so I can stare at spreadsheets of statistics... I aint paying someone else to do that for me). All the while i have someone signing me more staff that dont have top notch stats... anyway... I suspect I need a few seasons get to grips, unfortunately I probably dont have the same sort of time I used to have running 3 teams at the same time for 60+ seasons But I would appreciate any longer term insights anyone has, especially on regen signing strategies. Thanks for your response I found the offending graphic ( in the skin pack that I had downloaded). I deleted the folder, and reloaded. It still rotating the new stadum pic, but now with a black image The city image is just black (which I would expect) What is making it rotate... Is there another xml file somewhere. I dont get how it can be rotating the stadium file of every team with a black picture. I might ask on the place where I got the skin. I did not originally know it was realtred to the skin Thanks

Hello... I just came back to FM after a 6 year break... I have installed a logo pack and stadium pack. But the city box for each club has a picture saying "coming soon". The Stadium picture rotates the same "coming soon" picture with the actual stadium files I downloaded. Its disturbing my enjoyment for some reason How can I find the "coming soon" picture to eliminate the file? Many thanks in advance
