  1. Sacked by Chennaiyin FC after nearly 7 months in charge. Bottom of the league after 5 points in 11 games. To be honest we improved a lot over the summer but we could not register all the players, so some of the players were not of very good quality. Hopefully the next experience is better.
  2. This is how the summer transfer window went. We have significantly strengthened the squad and I am very pleased about the improvements made. Hopefully we can do our best to compete for the Indian Super League title.
  3. I now have a new club. I am officially the manager of Chennaiyin FC in the Hero Indian Super League. I am excited for this new adventure in India and it is a completely different environment. This is what the squad looks like.
  4. We got relegated on the final day of the season with Montana and I got sacked. Difficult to take, a win on the final day meant that I would have stayed up but it wasn't to be. I stayed at the club for nearly 6 months. Let's see where I go next. The crazy part was I got a new contract days before I was sacked.
  5. Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. Baynounah SC have recovered quite nicely and are in midtable in the UAE Second Division. Bhayangkara are also doing well this season, they are 2nd in the Indonesian Second Division group stage. Barito Putera have been awful and are fighting relegation from the Indonesian Second Division. NK Solin are fighting relegation in the Croatian Second division this season as well. So not much better after an initial new manager bounce last season.
  6. This is what happened in the winter transfer window this season in charge of Montana. A lot of ins and outs.
  7. I now have a new job. I am currently the manager of Montana in the Bulgarian Second Division. It is an interesting opportunity. At this point of time I only want to work. I feel like a manager who is rich in experiences and that is the beauty of the game. This is what the squad looks like.
  8. Sacked by Baynounah SC after just over 7 months in charge. We left them in 13th place after an eight match winless run. Things were promising earlier in the season but it is a shame that I have to go.
  9. Mid season update of Baynounah SC (2024-25 season) 13 points from 13 games, comfortably off the bottom of the league, we are in 11th place and we hope we can rack up some important wins this season.
  10. Here are some of the players we brought in. 1. Mounir Ben Khalek from Al Dahra on a free transfer. 2. Mundasir Yahaya from Al Nujoom on a free transfer. 3. Khizar Abdul Majeed from Gulf United on a free transfer. 4. Ali Mohamed on a free transfer. 5. Abubakar Idriss from Al Nujoom on a free transfer. 6. Eliasu Issah on a free transfer. 7. Abdullah Ahmed on a free transfer. 8. Ali Tahir on a free transfer. 9. Rashed Khamis from Gulf FC on loan. 10. Javier Millan from Chacarita Jrs. for 9.25k pounds. 11. Odai Al-Harbi on a free transfer.
  11. Yes Fleetwood United have a sister club in Dubai. It is really good for developing players here in Dubai and possibly preparing them for the side in England. Thank you very much.
  12. The season is over and we have got 1 win off our last 3 games. We finished 7th in the UAE Second Division and I hope we do better next season with Baynounah SC.
  13. I now have a new club. I am now the new manager of Baynounah SC in the UAE Second Division. I can only hope that things turn around in my career and I do well. This is what the squad looks like. After the career bruising experience in Indonesia, it is good to have a change of scenery.
  14. It is not so easy to create a sustainable level of progress, and the clubs are also proving to be selfish when they are not letting me get my coaching badges.
  15. We got relegated with Bhayangkara. The club reverted to semi professional status and I was offered a new contract with a transfer budget of 0 pounds. I resigned from the club immediately. I stayed there only for 13 days.
  16. I am back in Indonesian football, and this time I am the manager of fellow relegation struggler in the league, Bhayangkara. We are 16th in the league and we need wins off our last four games to escape the drop. I hope we do it. This is what the squad looks like.
  17. I resigned from Barito Putera after just about four and a half months in charge. I thought that it was an interesting experience to manage in Indonesia, but the quality from the players just wasn't quite there.
  18. I am now the new manager of Barito Putera in Indonesia. This is what the squad looks like and it is a fantastic opportunity to expand my football experience after managing a club in Croatia previously on the save.
  19. I have quit my job at NK Solin after just over 3 months in charge. To be fair things were not quite clicking and I needed to leave the club.
  20. We have signed an entire Hajduk Split second eleven and we have got some more players, Fernando Meneses, Siyanda Zwane and Christian Osaguona on free transfers. We also let a lot of players go out on loan, so I hope this balances out our squad well.
  21. So this is my new club, Solin in the Croatian second division. Let's see whether we can make them a great club. This is what the squad looks like.
