A series of transfers have happened. Trevoh Chalobah went to Rennes on loan. Bradley Barcola went to Marseille on loan. Nicolo Rovella went to Villarreal on loan. Gabriel Slonina went to Napoli on loan. We signed Noah Darvich from Tottenham Hotspur for 116 million pounds.

After just over 13 months in charge of Olympique Lyon we have left the club after winning a couple of trophies to join Chelsea. Chelsea offered a job interview and we got a job in the Premier League again. This is what the Chelsea squad looks like.

Mid season review (2031-32 season) We are 6th in the league with Olympique Lyon with 27 points in 17 games. We are doing okay in the league and okay in Europe, just about enough to keep our heads above water. This Lyon side are regenerating very well and we are consistent enough in our style of play that we have managed to stay in 6th place. Let's see where the rest of the season takes us.

First quarter update (2031-32 season) We are 13th in the league with Olympique Lyon. Not the best of starts but I hope we can turn things around. We are doing okay in European football though. Matias Soule has gone on loan to RB Salzburg. Lizandro Benavides has joined the club on loan from Liverpool. Felipe Vallejo has gone on loan to SC Freiburg.

Filip Jankto went on loan to Celta Vigo. Jason Nijboer went to Al Fateh for 1.8 million pounds. Thiago Gomez went on loan to FC Midtjylland. Jonathan Pietropaolo went on loan to Montpellier. Daniel Peretz went on loan to RB Salzburg.

Some more transfers have happened. Matias Soule went on loan to Lille. Ryan Ryan went on loan to AS Monaco. Nicolas Jourdan went to Almeria for 3 million pounds. Bradley Barcola went to Chelsea for 43.5 million pounds. Jorge Linares joined the club from Monterrey for 12.25 million pounds.

End of season review. (2030-31 season) We finished 6th in the league with Lyon with 60 points from 34 games. We have won another trophy in our managerial career as we lifted the French Cup by beating Paris Saint Germain in the final. We also got knocked out in the Europa League by Aston Villa in the quarter final of the competition. But so far this stint at Lyon has been a success so far. I am maybe channeling my inner Jose Mourinho here, although I haven't won a trophy at every club I have been at. I have only won trophies at Tottenham and Lyon so maybe the comparison is not quite there.

February update (2030-31 season) We are 6th in Ligue 1 with Lyon. We have played extremely well so far. The goals are shared around when players score and the defense has been very good. Super happy with the performance so far. We are in the quarter final of the French Cup and in the Round of 16 of the Europa League. Also we made a couple of signings. Jakob Jevas came on loan from Borussia Dortmund and Ando Rambeloson joined from AJ Auxerre for 375k pounds.

Thiago Gomez joined the club from Velez for 3.7 million pounds. Le joined the club on loan from Newcastle. Rhett Nieto joined the club from Santos Laguna for 10.75 million pounds. Filip Jankto joined the club from Sparta Prague for 5.75 million pounds. Hugo Carrasco went to RB Leipzig for 11 million pounds.

We officially have a new job. I am now the new manager of Olympique Lyon. It is such a storied club and it is a huge honour to be a part of the club. It is a similar moment like getting the Juventus job when I got it. I took over a historic club in Italy and now I am taking over a very historic club in France. This is what the squad looks like.

After just under 6 months we were called in for a board meeting and we have been sacked by Borussia Monchengladbach. I probably deserved the sack. We were not doing well in the league but we were doing well in Europe and the German Cup. It is unfortunate but this is how things are sometimes.
