  1. Most of the main wishes for me have already been mentioned here, that being a comprehensible menu, a decent enough ME and a fair selection of women's leagues including the Dutch one. Here's my two cents about the step forward in required specs. I have one of those desktops that is meant to be used in offices, so in terms of SPEED, we are okay, but the integrated graphics chip will absolutely not work this time around, I mean it was already chugging a fair bit in 3D mode in recent games. I do not have the money to buy a new PC for the next few years either. So really, what I hope most of all is that FM Touch will continue on Switch and has no major downgrades besides what Touch usually does. Maybe a cheeky Switch 2 release too when that becomes a reality. I COULD play the Console version on Xbox Series S no problem, but it's definitely less convenient to have to hook it up every time.
  2. I really didn't expect this discussion to go so sour over here too :/ I just don't understand the need to be so loud about your disapproval about an aspect that's been announced for years and has already improved one franchise. The mods have already mentioned so many times that this had nothing to do with the removal of international management too- it's a sign of the times we're in that that gets blatantly ignored and some folks continue to go after those in support of it. I could rant all day about how corrupted and unenjoyable the upper echelons of men's football are at this point, but I am going to be the better man and leave it at that.
  3. Yes, I did. People would scoff at seat belts back in the day and now it's mainstream and mandatory, with a few stragglers here and there I suppose. Women's football is also on the way there in a similar fashion, people rebel against it as if it's an attack on their manlihood or whatever, but more and more people appreciate it for what it is, and I bet this issue will slowly dissipate over time... With obviously some people remaining who will never respect the work that goes into it. Call me crazy or whatever, this is just how I think.
  4. Which is why we need to promote it and encourage giving it a shot instead of putting it in a locker and claiming it is 'never going to work'. Seat belts were also nonsense back in the day, remember? This is the kind of thought process that makes, mm, certain types of people, of which a lot are coincidentally men's football fans, so hard to take seriously on my end.
  5. Heh??? It's only been a significant part of FIFA/EA FC for 2 years and it's the one example we have. And from that single example, it's proven that people have been really enjoying it big time on UT. Like no **** it's not at the same level as the men's game, there's far less included teams and players. But even then! It's really funny, yet tragic, how people try to writhe around the 'uncomfortable' fact that the sport is on the rise and it's only now starting to get the recognition it deserves. Facts and logic? Did you get those from Twitter or something?
  6. Lower tiers do exist and are a fairly big deal in England and Germany from what I could tell. Spain and France... Ehhh, you might be right in assuming they aren't there straight away. I believe it's also confirmed you get to move freely between men's and women's teams.
  7. I think FM17, FM18 and FM23 all stick out to me here. FM17 was too difficult to me as a novice player (and it still is to a degree), but the visuals and game speed are so incredibly robust that I can't help but pop it back on time and time again. FM18 refined the visuals even more and added some things I can't imagine the game without, and it also is the first new FM I saw come out back in the day. FM23 is quite simply the most recent game I own and it is incredibly refined and versitile, especially with the new things you could do in the editor. It was also the game where I had my longest save so far recently. I definitely feel like giving it one more go before FM25 comes out, so therefore, I will give it my vote.
  8. Yeah, that's why I sorted it from most to least likely in the first place. I doubt it'll start with a crazy amount too, and you make a good point with how much analytics would be available. To be fair though, live scoring apps and the like have been including grades for players in most 'likely' leagues I mentioned, which does at least demonstrate some level of knowledge from those who sit down and watch the games. I assume we're looking at like 3 years of research judging by when this was announced and when the sport started to really 'boom'. Keep in mind we got proper women's football in FIFA 23, too.
  9. Absolutely. It's the better sport to me outside of the atmosphere being slightly lacking over here. There's so much unexplored history and it's just COOL to see a sport get gradually bigger and more mainstream. I'm happy to support it in whatever way I can, and that includes this, too. EA FC 24 already rekindled my interest in THAT series cuz women's football is at the forefront there, here's hoping the same can happen with FM. Especially if the Eredivisie is in.
  10. As the title says. I, as a fairly recent convert to enjoying the women's game way more than the men's side of things, am beyond excited for what is to come in the near future. Problem is, I don't have the hardware to play the full fat version with the switch to Unity and therefore won't have access to the editor. So i'm sitting here, daydreaming of what can, and what can't, be done this first time around. Here's what I think. Definitely making the cut: UEFA: Whatever is in EA FC, is probably here too. We're talking the WSL, Liga F, Frauen Bundesliga and Premiere Ligue. Those make all the sense in the world to have around and will probably pull in the most players. I do also believe the other two European top 6 leagues, so the Serie A and Damallsvenskan, are in. Portugal, Scotland, Norway and the Netherlands also seem like no brainers to me personally. AFC: Considering SI has the A-League and J-League licenses, I think Asia would start off with the women's counterparts of those. CONCACAF: Of course the NWSL is in. I mean, c'mon. The Liga MX is one of the biggest leagues in the world as well, would be a shame if it didn't work out there. Stuff that's possible but maybe not right away: UEFA: The second tiers of the current top 6. The top leagues of the remainder of the top 16 nations (those have two CL qualifiers). Switzerland too, considering Servette's and Zurich's recent CL appearances. The remainder of the British and Irish leagues. AFC: Considering their recent, er-hem, influence on the game, Saudi is a maybe here now too. I'd be more inclined to say South Korea and China are in, though. India is also certainly an oddball possibility as Odisha's qualified for the CL. CONCACAF: The USL Super League and Northern Super League, but only as post-launch patches. CONMEBOL: Colombia seems to be the main nation that has international stature, together with Argentina and Brazil as you'd expect. Unlikely but would be cool: UEFA: Far more second tiers than just the top 6. The Women's National League, both tier 3 and 4, should be as sensational as doing England in men's saves. Add the Adran North/South and the Scottish Championship/League One and it'd be flipping hysterical. ...Gibraltar. AFC: Basically all the other nations that have teams in the CL this year. Might be an excuse to add Thailand and the UAE to the men's game, too. How it'd work considering there is barely any information on half of the leagues, I wouldn't know. The Nadeshiko Leagues in Japan are well respected, too, those I can kinda imagine being in. CONCACAF: As with the AFC, a pipe dream would be adding the remaining Champions Cup leagues. That includes the League1s in Canada as well. CONMEBOL: Any other nation not mentioned. Peru and Chile seem more likely considering their existing presence in the games. CAF: Any league at all would be kind of a miracle. South Africa seems to be the top candidate as you'd expect, Mamelodi Sundowns did come over to play friendlies in America after all. ...Could you tell I have done a bit of research? What do you all think will start this era of the series off?
