  1. When the women's game was initially announced, I wondered if any match engine or other changes might make it easier to more accurately represent lower level men's leagues than is currently possible in FM. If so, that could be a bonus for the LLM players. I realize the women's game at the top level and a lower level men's game don't share a lot of the same characteristics, I was just thinking about the possibility of SI modifying the match engine/etc. to accommodate a wider range of attributes.
  2. I doubt I would play it either, but I'm sure for some it will be their main method of playing. SI probably shouldn't have tried to include it at the same time as all the other changes, since it does give people an easy excuse to point at a reason for the delay (or poor initial release if that happens). I'm actually curious if the selection/inclusion of women's leagues will be mandatory when selecting a country. I've seen some people say that it definitely won't be mandatory, but it wouldn't shock me too much if it is. It would create a lot of complaints (some justified) if they do include them, so hopefully it's not mandatory.
  3. In current FM we select a country and then the lowest league in that country we want to be playable, so any league above (in the pyramid) is also set to playable. I'm wondering if SI is planning to add the WSL at a similar selection level as the Premier League (I can't imagine they would place the WSL below Vanarama North/South, mainly for the bad optics) or if SI will separate the country selection into something like England - Men and England - Women? Of course they could also design the country/league selection in a way I haven't considered.
  4. I'm sure it's way too early to know, but something I've been wondering about the inclusion of the women's game. When setting up a new game will they be treated separately or included when you select certain countries? For example, if you select England Vanarama National and above as playable would it automatically include the Women's Super League as playable as well?
  5. I'm guessing there were some changes to improve the game for larger set of users, but it had a negative effect on graphics for others. Assuming you're going to purchase the next version of FM, the better option may be to wait until the final patch is released before purchasing. That way you can easily return the game if there are graphics issues. That's what I'll be doing next year, since I don't want to go through the same working for a short period then not working situation that happened with FM23.
  6. Linux user (so SI probably doesn't care too much about my issue, since it's not a supported OS), but gameplay on FM22 is smooth and FM23 was completely smooth until the most recent patch. I've tried the fixes listed here, including making all the signage black/red, but the 2D and 3D gameplay is still stuttering. For some reason is does become smooth whenever I open settings window for camera type, game speed, etc., not sure why that's the case.
