How do I change the ethenticity of a player? I have the ingame Editor but cant see this as an option. I would like to doi this for an existing save as a lot of newgens have the incorrect ethenticity ....ie it does not match their appearance on the pitch. Is this even possible.

I am in my 11th season in Colombia and the stupid sqaud unhappiness issue is spoiling what is otherwise a great save. The main issue is the playing time. its Colombia and there are always 2 games per week , sometimes 3 and you have to rest players. Like their condition woule be around 70% at the start of the match To make it worse about 5 or 6 team mates then are unhappy for him too......its ridiculous Has this issue been addressed in the latest patch?

I have this issue on occasions . It tends to be on night games when there is floodlights and shadows etc. The game then can sometimes feel a bit slow at the normal speed. if it’s a day time kick off it works fine . All very strange

Just to report something that has just happened to me and I have no idea why. My youth intake come in and they were already populated with the Newan faces……I did not even run tte Newegan app. So I added a Manager to do a wider serach and it looks like all of the Newgens have the Newgen faces. I mean its good but I have no idea how this has happened. Delighted though

Not sure if the update has done anything to stop these moaning players I am on a Colombian save and the games come thick and fast, I simply have to rotate but the players are not happy. There is no option to tell them its rotation to keep them for the more important fixtures. It can become tedious. On the plus side I love the ME this year. The game flows much better, there are some great moves too, Also little things like player reactions to situations seems improved. Also had a game where a header hit the top of the bar, it spiralled in the air, fell on to the top of the net , had a bounce or two and then ran along the top of the net and fell off the side.......I loved it

Thank you so much . I am hopeless at this type of thing, but with your guidance and a few others on here I have managed to do this and all of the faces are back. I assume when I get to the end of the season and do a new batch of Newgens that it will just work as normal. Have I changed my Config file permanently. Trying to understand how it work. Really appreciate your help as my save would been abandoned if I had not sorted this

Is this the same for the FMU Newgen face pack? what is the search/replace function? I can’t find the 200 I think this is me getting out of my depth , do you think the makers of these packs will update the config file at some stage if it means a wait then so be it …..I can’t play without these faces now

In my save the other face packs are all still ok. It’s just the newgan packs that don’t work

Can confirm all Newgen faces lost. Why on earth would they do this? I will try and follow the guidelines above but i cant open my facepack config file

Ok tried to open my config file, it says I dont have an app to do this? This may be a tad too complex for me. Is there an app I can download?

Scared to relaod my save if all of the Negen faces are lost. I have soent so long getting this done. Can I stop automatic updates ? If I lose my Regen faces I dont think I can play FM as this current save will be totally ruined

I am now keen to add another pack into my Graphics folder. I am using the FMU pack and have now also downlaoed the RnR pack. I am quite a novice with files etc so would love some guidance. Is is just a case of copying over each of the regions from the RnR pack into the quivalent region folder into the FMU pack. Terrified I make a mess of this So basically just say dragging the South American file from RnR into the South American file already in my FMU folder in my Graphics folder?

I used to think this too, but if you check every member of staff picks the exact same team. Although admit I havent checked if its the same for FM24

I hope this is the correct place to post this, if not please feel free to move it Does anyone actually gets this idea to work on a consistent basis? I know one person seems to but is there anyone else as I am running into one issue after another. As a user on another forum pointed out Newgan 1.31 just freezes and wont work after a while. For me it was actually the second season. So after my second youth intake Followed the above instructions again and tried to use the Preserve feature. Tried this 3 or 4 times and it just froze. So googled and yeah its a common issue, and the solution is to delete 1.31 and all of its files and install 1.21. So I did this. First season the software worked a treat, all of the newgen faces worked. Big test would be after my second youth intake…..followed the same instructions and this time used the Preserve faces and it worked. Excellent, I thought i was on my way. Third youth intake , followed exactly the same process and hit the Preseve faces and it froze. Again I have tried it a few times and all it does is freeze. So I decided to try it on my newgens at my club as there are only 62 as I wanted to eliminate the fact that there may be too many newgens (34k) to replace. Same result…..it just froze. So I can use the generate faces no problem at all, the Preserve is fraught with issues. So every season I can use the tool to get faces in my game, but I jave to accept that my existing newgens will get a new face. I mean its still better than the cartoon character newgen faces in the game …..but it is a bit of a spoiler. Also the CTRL + A select all feature is vert hit and miss, like it can take numerous attemots for it to actually select all of them. I am doing it right arent i? They are both pressed at the same time? The trouble with these facepacks is they add so much to the game that I am not sure I can now revert to playing without them, so I would love to hear from people who are using them succesfully.

The shots at goal are just too powerful in my opinion. Like you cant follow them they are that quick. I am loving the new ME but this is a problem for me. I am in Columbia, I have a left back with a shooting rating of 6...........he hits the ball like a rocket

I’ve had a season ticket at Newcastle for 41 years , so I’ve put up with Mike Ashley asset stripping my club. And I still renewed year after year . VAR may be what eventually stops me going. It’s ruining the live match day experience

Ok I would love some guidance. I have had these faces in my game for a season and I tried to do exactly the same thing again for this years youth recruits...........I wont bore you with the details but I basically replaced every player in the game , not just the new gems I have managed to udo this be deleting the rtf file but yes I am now back to square one. I then coould not open the Newgan app so i deleted it and reinstalled. It still wont open. Anyone offer any guidance as I have went from youth candiadtes of bueaty as shown above.......to those cartoon character faces I think now once I have had them in the save I cant continue until I get this sorted

It is so frustrating as I am loving the match engine, the game seems to flow more and just seems a lot more realistic to me. But.....yeah Keeper injuries , my GK had 5 separate injuries in the second season, I am managing in Columbia and so the reserve GK is not that good, so big impact on results. Hey I guess that could happen in real life so we will see where season 3 takes us. If i get that far. Biggest pain is the player happiness. Its just spoiling the game. Got a great youth intake in the first year, one of them went into first team squad. Brought him on as a sub initially and hes even started a few matches. Now hes unhappy as he wants more game time.......one of the responses should be ......**** off pal you are 16 year old and I have put you in the bastard first team Can I request this
