This Bug is up for how many version FM? happening to me is since FM 22, but i believe same happen before. For me with Wrexham happen 2 FM in a row, when my academy reach excellent that is around 16/17 i cant upgrade anymore.

In FM 22 if you fail a contract renewal because of agents unreasonable demands you would get stuck with a unsatisfied player because you fail to keep the promise of new contract. This year you can reengage in talks with the agent if fails, even more then one time. The problem is when you get agents with 0 patience and 0 background that only have 3rd rate players on is list(our player normally the only star player on is list), and he just won't negotiate game time and position, not even talking about salary....You cant even go to the player and say to sack the agent that is not doing a good job for him because there is no OPTION. How can we be stuck in a similar dilemma without the ability to speak with player about this, a player I train every day... Only option is to try to transfer the player out because I cant just negotiate with that Agent, and worst, the clubs don't wont to hire the player because of player demands, clearly he don't want to leave the club either but we get stuck in this issue. Got 2 young players like this, versatile young promises 21/22 years old, with very good growth potential, agent only accepts if I make contract with fix position>role and of course important player game time. I have 4.5star players as important players in the position so if i accept i will fail the agreement later... So no solution, I just feel like trying to get him out for free from the club so he don't affect team morale. Please SI, try to make communication with players about contracts more natural, even if its a last resort.

Well after tilting for a whole season how to fix my defence in premier league with 4.5 star players, I came here to check out if there is a problem. After reading some comments I decide to try to change my tactic to direct pass instead of short pass, extended formation, and took out distribution to central defenders. And the improvement was instantaneous!! 3 games played and the score opportunities to opposing teams almost disappear from 4-5 a game. Don't think this is normal. Have to say I have by far better defenders comparing to my attackers. Also in terms of points in the league I see almost all big team in the league underperforming in 3 seasons. Is this normal?

Sometimes I am really surprised that some people attack ASAP when someone try to talk about improvement in a stale game, then I remember that 50% of us are a bunch of old fogies that play the game since CM days with many of us afraid of change in life and FM is like anchor always here for some dopamine release in the same old levels Just want to say that FM is a very successful financial game over the years, more than many AAA titles out there, and this happen year after year. FIFA is the same. They should have the budget to make some real improvements to the game at least from time to time. But we have the same game for the last 10 years (more FM than FIFA) with additional polish and updated database. Many times I think this should be a scouting tool for real like clubs instead of a game, since its where the majority of the budget go to...scouting! I only play the game from time to time (some time years) to chill out a bit but even then is less and less. Anyway I don't see any big changes coming with the amount of sales FM do every year. With all it's defects it's still an enjoyable experience to casual players and old generation still play it also. It's like trying to improve football itself, very hard indeed!
