  1. Thanks, yeah it's going well I've actually changed formation to a 4231 as I felt it more suited my team this season so not quite full Banzai but still quite attacking
  2. SEASON 3- 2025 So first two months in J1 and it hasn't gone too badly 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses as well as two wins in the cup Funnily, we've now dropped to 2000-1 from 1000-1 I brought in a few names Sugato being that starting centre back Obata as cover fro right back Harakawa comes in to provide some cover in the middle too after I let Igawa go Next up, two busy months
  3. SEASON 3- 2025 And after 3 seasons here we are the promised land of J1 I think this season will be fun Despite what I think was decent enough transfer window Bringing in Ryo Miyachi Hiroki Abe and Tsubasa Terayama And new sub keeper Tomoki Ueda To name but a few I still lie 1000-1 at the bottom of the season preview The transfer window is still open, so I'm hoping to at least at another RB and if Kenta Hirose is to leave a starting cb alongside Nakayama, as Kuroki is now nothing more then a squad player if I'm honest. Pre-Season and the start of my season looks like this As said I expect it to be a tough one this year. But hopefully Banzai Ball continues Lastly I want to call out one Transfer Out For 350k Kaito Utaka leaves the club, he was my star man alongside Kuroki when I came to the club and leaves after two successful seasons at the club Sayonara Kaito you'll always be welcomed back as a bull
  4. SEASON 2- 2024 Season 2 has come to a close and of as already forecast CHAMPIONS!!! But not only will I be going up to J1 as J2 winners I'll also be going up as League Cup winners Beating Kyoto on penalties in the quarters , Kobe in the semis and beating Kawasaki Frontale 3-0 in the final Absolute madness as I'll admit at every stage I believe this will be my last round Almost finished off the league with a 100% record but drew to Tokyo Verdy conceding a last minute penalty. Towards the back-end of the season my scouts picked up a Japanese International who was a free agent so I decided to pounce and I'll be honest assumed it would be for next season but he came straight into the squad and actually played a part in the League Cup from the Semi finals but welcome to the club Yuta Nakayama On to next season now and the J1 League , crazy to think I've made it so quickly and added a domestic trophy too. Next update just before the start of the season which I'm expecting to be a busy one.
  5. SEASON 2- 2024 Back a little earlier than I assumed I'd be With 5 games to go, we move 16 clear of Oita and are promoted, One more win and the J2 title will be in the bag too
  6. SEASON 2- 2024 The first real difficult run of our season, with injuries to Renyer, Ajago, Utaka, Verrone we seen a slump for June and July A run of only 2 points from 15 and getting knocked out of the All-Japan cup was a tough one. Thankfully we finished off the month with two wins leaving us still top but our original 16 point lead from the start of June has been halved to 8 Some new signings have come in to help us including a familiar face After his contract expired at RB Leipzig Simon Schierack is back Yamashita offers backup on the wings , Segawa comes in to offer another option at left back. But the best signing I think will be Takero Itoi who comes in to offer depth up front The run in is as follows, hopefully with players starting to come back I can continue the end of July form and start to get back to winning ways.
  7. SEASON 2- 2024 Been a long week without an update but here we go... We've continued our glorious rise and currently sit 16 points clear in the J2 league and may just go back to back promotions How have we got here? Well April and May seen us only lose 2 and draw 2 with the rest of the games us picking up 3 points with a great 5-0 win over Gunma in the last game of the month. And it's not just Red Bull success in Japan happening with both RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg picking up league titles in Europe And both New York and RB Bragantino currently sitting 3rd half way through their domestic seasons Next up for me here in Japan
  8. Great season unlucky in playoffs. Been struggling to play my Japanese save last 2 weeks due to other commitments. I'm about half way through my 2nd season and just lost my 1st game. Again as mentioned before I didn't have to build an entire team from scratch but if I have any advice from how I've found Japanese football it's 攻撃 攻撃 攻撃 😂 Basically just attack I've had two saves in Japanese league and I've found just going for it Kevin Keegan Entertainers style is the way to dominate
  9. Season 2 -2024 Didn't have much time to play in the last week or so but I've kept the momentum of of my J3 season going in J2 As we remain unbeaten with a 100% record so far 7 points clear of Tokyo Verdy with 10 played Reyner and Utaka have been superb as has Ajago..Montes did do his ACL in the Yamaguchi game and is out for the season so my having to rotate my international players is no longer an issue as I only have 4 fit now. Up next
  10. Thanks Japanese league is so much fun. Actually had a read through your save the other day. I started with the team that was at Osaka FC which wasn't too bad added a few sprinkles but never expected to get to J2 so quickly.
  11. SEASON 2- 2024 And J2 season is about to begin. First up transfers I'm going to show them via the Squad Planner, tbh I kind of screwed up by signing one foreign player too many (Well one I couldn't turn down when he was offered to me) The main ones are of course Powell Obinna Obi and Soki Yatagai as my main keepers, Powell will be my number one In defence Kengo Kuroki decided to stay on so I was delighted with that but I brought in Okamoto and Tokida (Omori also came in but he may go out on loan) to act as upgrades for J2 Two Brazilian fullbacks Denzel and Rafael Verrone come in to strengthen the full back area though they'll interchange with the Japanese lads Okamura is a very talented youth player for me. In the midfield Mini and Jacob Montes* came in (* if I could rewind time I wouldn't have probably signed Montes but he's a decent player and Nicaraguan) , Sora Igawa adds depth Out wide left Yoshikawa came in on a free to add depth there. Up front Ajago of course came in as he had to, Yuta Nobe and Furuyama came in to battle it out for that poacher position next to him, Kenjiro Omae is another youth player with good potential. Though the star signing for my team and one I broke the foreign rule on but had to get him in a former wonderkid of yesteryear Renyer comes in to play on that Right hand side So what does all this mean for the season ahead Prior to transfers I was 19th in the Season Preview Now....a nice healthy mid table which i'd gladly take (Miyazaki who came up with me are 20th with 350-1 odds) And in terms of fixtures and pre-season I played five J1 teams and bar the first two were I was still putting a team together I done OK picking up lets call it 4 points from 3 teams As you see this season I also get the luxury of being in the League Cup and I've been drawn against a fellow J2 team Next update after this March One Last small thing I actually got offered an interview for Nagoya and Kawasaki from the J1 so I'm obviously doing something right, but I'm on this Red Bull Journey to the top
  12. The first season of RB Osaka comes to an end and what a successful season J3 title with 94 points, +64 GD (129 scored 64 conceded ) Two players scoring over 20 with Ajago getting 31 (I made his transfer permanent so it will be interesting to see how he gets on next season) I will need some rebuilding for next season as a lot of the team I feel are a) not good enough b)leaving /retiring Next update will be start of our maiden J2 campaign But some stats Team of the season
  13. With 7 games left to play Champions of J3 3 wins from October and we go 24 points clear I'll finish off the season now but looks like it will be a record breaking season.
  14. They say Red Bull gives you wings? Well we are flying Another unbeaten month, the only blip a 2-2 draw with Toyama to deny us an 100% record What does it mean for the league? Well I think we can start dreaming of J2 With 10 games left to play we're 20 clear Here is the run in, we could become champions by the end of October if things go our way
  15. Bar a 1-1 draw and a crazy 8-3 loss in the cup (with the youth squad may I add) June and July was perfect What does that mean for the league? Well we now stand 7 points clear of our nearest rival. Being knocked out of the cup was a little disappointing as it was to a team in a lower division but still it gives us the time to rest between games and to try and push on for possible promotion. Next up
  16. April and May down and well while April was a mixed month May I went undefeated and banged in the goals scoring 5 three times during the two month period. I won't lie though that FC Gifu defeat stings as I was 3-1 up at one point, and missed some glorious chances to get back in the game late on. What does that all mean in my quest for J2 Promotion? Well 6th place after 11 games played and only 3 points off a promotion place I'm more than happy so far. Up next for June and July
  17. Great thread, be wary if Ecuador they turned into a south American powerhouse in one of my long-term saves, winning back to back WCs
  18. Pre-Season and first month down A lo of my friendlies were against teams in J2 so it was a bit of bad run. But my start to the J3 league was great 7 points from the first 3 games including coming back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4 with Kagoshima and then a 7-3 victory over Iwate. The last two of the month say me lose my first few games of the season. Still though we sit nicely in 6th albeit having played a game more. Obviously not expecting to get promoted this season but hopefully mid table and build from there Transfer wise it was mostly free transfers and loans (I've let my Director of football take charge-but I have final say- they really just go for the most randomness of players) One player I did get offered and gladly took in was a youngster from my main affiliate RB Leipzig Simon Schierack. He obviously has a lot of work still to do, but can 100% do well in J3 As you can see from my results I've adapted an attacking formation A 4-2-4 attacking formation, which will hopefully bring some more 7-3 victories Next update will be after the end of May
  19. The Squad Goalkeepers Hattori will be the starting goalkeeper (even though he wants to retire at the end of season -i'll be trying to reverse that decision) Kasahara will be able backup , Nagai may leave or act as Reverses keeper Defenders I haven't decided just yet on a formation but give Kuroki and Taniguchi are Star Players in the team and I have some full backs with ok ability it may 4 at the back Midfielders Some OK players here Machida and Saito perhaps in a middle two with wingers Forwards Gustavo simoes is my Star main (though he leaves at end of the season ) Some very good options to choose from either way.
  20. Big news from RB Osaka today as they announced Hiroki Haruto as their new manager. Speaking at a press conference Hiroki said he was delighted to be given the great honour to lead the new Red Bull era in Japan and is looking forward to a successful future
  21. Big News in the world of Japanese Football today as Energy Drink Power House Red Bull finalised a deal to purchase J3 League side FC Osaka. The team will now be re-branded as RB Osaka and will become part of the Red Bull Group. Speaking at the unveiling Oliver Mintzlaff CEO of Corporate Projects and New Investments of Red Bull said that the presence of a Red Bull team in Japan will further expand of portfolio and increase the Red Bull Brand globally into a new market. Mintzlaff also stated that similar to the purchase of RB Leipzig the plan is for the club to ascend through the leagues and to compete in the top league in the country and Asia Champions League. The team is expected to retain the inherited playing squad from FC Osaka. No announcement has yet been made on the management side of the club but it is expected that FC Osaka manager Yoshitaka Matsumoto will step down and a new manager will be announced in due course
  22. Question about real world mode...with Sandro Tonalis ban all but confirmed will his ban be hard coded into the game from the start or will it start as per the date he's banned?

    Delay subs

Maybe something which is already in game I just haven't figured out how to do it. But if there was an option to delay subs when the ball goes for a defensive corner. Maybe a similar pop up like what happens when a goal is scored were it asks you if you still want to change, perhaps an option to delay until you aren't defending set pieces
  24. and the season has ended with Bali United, a nice respectful 3rd place In terms of the overall season, my first game came in round 17, I did get as high as 2nd at one point but a little blip at the end of January saw me lose 3 in a row but that was to be my last loss, as I then went on 10 game unbeaten run only dropping 4 points. I'm hopefully going into next season that I keep the momentum going and lead the team to glory
  25. After 5 months of unemployed I'm back in Management and moving to Indonesia and to Bali Utd I join just before the halfway point of the league season, currently 4th in the league but out of the Indonesian Cup In terms of the current squad available based on 4-4-2 formation Goalkeepers An Indonesian International is my number one and I have able backup so happy enough Left Back Another Indonesian International here in the shape of Yagolo (though I may play him CB) Mustofa is capable Right Back Idrus has an injury but is back in 2 weeks he'll be the starter, Lucky will play until he is fit as Mustofa will be needed on the left Centre backs As stated Yagolo may play cb alongside Pacheco but fellow Indonesian international Utomo will challenge him I'm happy here. Centre Mid A good mix here, Pellu is team captain and will most likely start with one of Saimima or Hargianto around him. Left Wing Two good options here Andre Agustiar is one of my standout players Right Wing The first really light area in terms of lack of depth though Jaya is a potential gamechanger for me, I will be looking for reinforcements here. Centre Forward Osman and Spasojevic will be the staters though the latter is 37 and will retire come the end of the season, Ramdani is promising youngster who can take his place though. In terms of the odds and season preview, We're strangely ahead of where the odds put us, I believe it may have been the 1st round cup exit which put pave to the previous regime.
