This + swapping roles and duties up top was gold.
This are the results from last time posting :
Also, another very satisfactory point is all the front line (subs included) are playing well in the system, with goals and assit spreaded among the team.
Below the standard tactic I've ended up.
Poacher occupies the central defense while suprisingly applying quite a lot of pressure on the backline when no in possession ( I think to recall Poacher role was much more passive in defense in previous FMs)
BBM and IWa create a nice overload on the right side, IWa + "Stay Wider" was a successful gamble ! Less useless crosses but still crossing when decent opportunity arise, while skinning his fullback in one to one situation (Poacher and BBM occupying the central defender)
Left side, IFs is dragging both his fullback and central defender with his high dribble and speed, opening up the flank for an comfortable cross from the WBa running up the field. And with no overlap TI, not wasting a good opportunity to beat his fullback and go through goal (instead of waiting for the WBa).
Regista at DM position was a bit too crazy, got scored against 5 times in 4 games during the experiment! but DLPs revealed to be very good and balanced in the tactic. With BBM supporting the Poacher and right IWa + BWMd holding the fort center/leftcenter, the midfield trio is SOLID.
Very very happy, thank you again for the hint and suggestions @silentwars
Now for the contextual changes :
- when opposition has no quick forwards, I move the block up (Higher DL, Press GK, CounterPress). When up by two goals and with 20-15 minutes to go, I remove the counter press (and maybe lower the DL)
- if wasting chances, I move to Positive but slower tempo + Work Ball Into Box.
- If they are tough, play through my press and/or have quick forwards, I simply go Midblock and change left-fullback to WBs.
- When one or two goals up with 20-15 minutes to go, I remove "distribute quickly), do some time wasting, then width to fairly narrow. (additionnal time, I max time wasting and go "more disciplined")
