Sorry to be dim, can you put it really simple terms - what exactly am I looking for in this file? What would I need to edit or delete?

Hi all. Complete skinning rookie so I would appreciate a bit of help: in the match tablet, how can I delete an individual tab and change their names? One is called 'Around the Grounds' - I'd like to get rid of it or change the name if possible. Thanks in advance.

Thanks both for your replies. I think it is more likely to be the patch - I forgot that this has only very recently been released and you are right, there are a few issues elsewhere in the game since its release. I will continue using the skin and change autosave settings to ensure I don't get whacked again (lost a whole evenings worth of progress last night!)

Hi all. Love the skin @keysi, it makes the game infinitely more immersive. One query - I’ve just experienced the game crashing for the first time in forever (last few editions have been rock solid for me) and the only change I’ve made in last few days is adding the skin. FM can prove quite demanding for my laptop in terms of processing (I’ve got a fairly basic gaming laptop hooked up to a 4k monitor); I’m just wondering whether anybody knows if the skin is more demanding or whether I’ve just been unlucky? Hi all. Got a save going with Perth Glory in the Australian A-League. When I started the save I got a warning that there were no A-League/MLS transfers in season one in Real World mode. No problem, it added to the challenge as far as I was concerned. Got to the summer transfer window at the end of season one and I could start signing players, which I did. Two nights ago I got to Sat 13th July 2024 and saved the game (both AI teams and me had been signing players up to that day). I loaded the game again last night and now can't sign anyone - when I click 'Approach to SIgn' on free agents I get the 'A-League/MLS can't sign players in season one of Real World' message again. For clarity, the only thing I did before loading last night was delete the cache folder to load in some player pic graphics. Any ideas what is going on and when I can expect to sign players again? Not the end of the world if I have to wait until the end of season two, I am pretty happy with my squad though. Thanks in advance for your help.

Long time lurker, first time poster so here goes: This thread hasn’t been as fun to follow this year - too many trolls with a genuine nastiness to their comments. I don’t watch YouTubers but will watch their alpha videos because for me it adds to the excitement. They’ve earned the privilege of alpha access through years of slogging away and establishing a solid viewership. Hats off to them. The personal comments are no more than petty jealousy. Pineapple on pizza is delicious. End of debate. And I’m not a fan of Greggs. Chuck Norris doesn’t mind the gap. The gaps minds Chuck Norris. The beta is definitely coming Thursday.

Thanks. In the mean time can you tell me where I can find the .ivf file for the Man vs Fat ad board? Just so I can delete it and at least play the game. Or failing that how can I turn ads off completely?

Hi all. Anyone else getting a really pixelated ‘Man vs Fat Football’ video ad? When I start a match (any match in any league from what I can see) I get a proper ad first (Prostate Cancer in the EFL, for example) and then it goes to this and only this for the remainder of the match. The reason I’m curious whether anyone else has had it is that I’ve looked at a number of YouTubers recent videos and can’t find a single other example of it. I’ve logged this as a bug and I’ve had a reply from SI so hopefully they can resolve it. But I’m curious if anyone else has had it and if so, what did you do to fix it (I’ve searched through the ads graphics files using the Resource Archiver and can’t find any reference to this ad, either as a video or in the config). Any help will be hugely appreciated - this is driving me mad and is a total immersion breaker for me at the moment.

Just played a Bundesliga game and the same pixelated ad came up. I've looked through all the FMF files that I can open using the archiver and I cannot find a Man vs Fat Football ivf file anywhere. I tried signing in to FMFC to see if that affected things but that didn't work either.

Other info that might be useful - I am playing through Epic. I am seeing the ad in all English matches (and I’m not seeing it on YouTubers saves in England). I haven’t tested matches in different countries. If it can’t be fixed then I’d really appreciate somebody telling me how to get rid of this particular ad (I’ve used the Resource Archiver to have a rummage in the files and can’t find anything). It’s a real immersion breaker when the rest of the game looks smooth/4k and then this ad keeps appearing where you can’t even make out the words because of how badly rendered it is. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for pointing me in this direction. I’ve followed the advice given and it does seem to have improved things to a point where the matches run smoothly.

I should add as well that I have graphics/rendering set to High and no custom graphics/mods added.
