[Too easy, or are you just getting better?]

I've had some real success recently on FM and while I couldn't comment on whether there is more content available, i've definitely accessed a lot more than I normally would due to your first point about extra time compared to normal.

[Players unhappy promise not kept]

I'm currently managing Sochaux, who have a fantastic youth set-up.

So i'm consistently producing good players, and want to sign them up to pro deals. Every player is adding as a non-negotiable that I find a loan move for them, so I have to agree to that to get them to sign.

I put all of them on the loan list and offer them out multiple times, but nobody wants them. Come the end of the transfer window they're unhappy that I didn't keep the promise - you can see this in the attached image.

Using him as an example he's been like this ever since the end of the January 2022 transfer window, and it's now July 2023, he only has 12 months left on his contract and won't sign a new deal.

Any solutions to a) how I can avoid it on the first place and b) how I can resolve it now?

I started to play him in the first team at the back end of last season and he seemed happy with that but not enough to remove his overall unhappiness. 

[Where can I check scouting range?]

I've had a search on my FM, and a trawl through the internet and still can't find the answer for this for FM21.

I can find my recruitment package within scouting, but can't see my scouting range. I can request from the board to increase/decrease it, but not what it currently is.

I can sort of see what it is by setting up a new scouting assignment and seeing where it allows me to send the scout to, but can't actually see a screen where it tells me my current range. Any help much appreciated.

I'm really hoping they fix the salary cap issue, as wanted my first save to be an MLS one, but after testing it on each update I'm not going to bother testing on this one. Like you say nothing in changelist

Rekeem Harper (of West Brom) is marked as being born in London.

I believe he should be marked as being born in Birmingham (as I think he was in previous versions).

To add to my previous post, it appears to be the point of the attached image where the salary cap goes from being ok to an issue.

EDIT - What seems to be happening is I submit my squad right before the first game of the season. Inevitably I exclude some players and they get waived. They then pass through the waivers and as a result count towards my salary cap. My club decides to invoke the Guaranteed Contract Buyout option which means they shouldn't count at all towards my salary cap. HOWEVER, these guys on their own then count to over my salary cap limit despite in theory not counting anything, which obviously isn't correct anyway (their contracts combined are worth approx 1/10th of my salary). I know this because when I clear the selection of my squad and have nobody selected it is still saying I am over my salary cap per an attached image in one of my previous posts.

I have the same issue and had uploaded a save game, but this was after the point the issue had occurred.

I have used all my general allocation to buy down various players. There is surely no way that unregistered players on their own take you over the salary cap?

I was able to submit my initial squad (and had some players waived as I wasn't able to put them all in the squad) but as a result of a player returning from injury it is making me re-submit my squad, but I cannot physically get the salary below the cap, no matter how many or few players I select.

I've even cleared selection and it gets stuck on $110k - my cap is $100k. When I do clear selection though it still leaves one player 'in' the squad. I've also tried auto select and still doesn't go in below the cap so I physically can't continue the game.

I guess a solution would be to holiday one day forward but I would much rather know the problem/solution!
