  1. I'd love to know what the challenge by TheEarl is. Do you have a link to it or can you explain?
  2. 2025/26 Season - Kreins This was always going to be a shockingly tough season and it turned out to be just that. We actually didn't start too badly but form fell away very quickly and at one point we looked to be cut adrift, luckily we picked up a few massively vital wins towards the end of the season, meaning we ended just outside the relegation playoff spot. A massive achievement with how poor our squad looks depth-wise, especially in defence. In the Swiss Cup we did go a couple of rounds further than last season but once again failed against a team in the league below. Top Goalscorer - Saleh Chihadeh Our main man up front again but he really struggled overall, he needs to improve his consistency as he is by far our best striker Most Assists - Cedric Roosli 8 assists from Left Back is pretty good, both our full-backs (Bollati being the other) did well but when they were injured we had nothing in reserve. Finances A decent season overall, we made around £1m profit and that was all from the sponsorship deal. Transfers Very little money made from out's, I have a lot of players asking to leave who I've promised moves to, at the moment though nobody wants them. Facility Upgrades Another good season with the youth recruitment, junior coaching and youth facilities upgraded. It's beginning to look much better but there's a long way to go. Youth Intake Now to the most important part of the save and once again it was incredible! The preview predicted it.... And the actual intake did not disappoint. Another eight elite talents and four top talents. As there's so many I'll only show the elite players. Julien Chevrier - Right Wing Goran Markovic - Right and Left Wing Leovegildo Joao - Right Wing Diogo Covas - Central Defender Fran Pamic - Defensive Midfield Qendrim Podvorica - Right Back Fabian Hartmann - Central Midfield Vittorio Bacigaluop - Right Wing Some proper good talent there, Pamic is by far the best of the lot and with me losing so many midfielders this Summer due to their contracts being up and not wanting to stay he will walk into the first-team, if not the first XI!
  3. 2024/25 - Kriens FC Squad Transfers Finances What a brilliant first season in charge, we had a good squad to start with so the lack of being able to sign anyone didn't hinder us. We were predicted to end 6th but we massively surpassed that, winning the league with a game to spare. In the Swiss Cup we didn't fare as well, losing in the first round to a lower league side In other good news, our Under 18s won the League, I'll talk more about some of those players in a bit. I also managed to take advantage of the great start to persuade the board to some improvements to the facilities. Hopefully this helps with the intakes in the future, it still needs improvements as expected but it's a good start. Still a long way to go to max out the facilities. What we need now is a decent influx of cash to help. Hopefully moving up to the Swiss Super League will help. Key Players Top Goalscorer and Player of the Season - Saleh Chihadeh A key man over the campaign who's 16 goals were vital to our title win. He does want to leave so at the moment I'll be losing him in the Summer, hopefully our move up a division will persuade him to stay Most Assists and Young Player of the Season - Liam Bollati 13 assists from Right Back is a fantastic season, one of our highest rated players and brightest prospects, unfortunately he also wants to leave and I've had to agree to letting him go if a bid of £170k+ is received. Youth Intake I expected it to be a good one with the lack of high quality in our squad and the preview predicted just that. But we all know the preview doesn't always correlate into actual good players, this time however it exceeded expectations! Eight "elite" talents and one "top" talent. Some great prospects but are any of them actually good enough to push for a first-team spot? I've decided to label each player with the year of the intake and "E" for elite and "T" for top. Jannik Unger - Central Midfield Eder Luis - Central Midfield Christian Speranza - Defensive Midfield Joel Dutsch - Right Wing Dorde Pajevic - Central Defender Leopold Amtsfeld - Goalkeeper Mustafa Cakir - Striker None of them are real world-beaters but all of them can do a job in the first-team squad with a bit of training and mentoring. Overall a great first season, promotion is massive, now we have the tough task and getting the squad ready for the Super League, it's going to be very tough.
  4. Decided to give this a go. Very much enjoyed reading through this and mainly @XaW's post in Switzerland so have decided to go there. The club promoted to the challenge league was Kriens
