The year is 2027, the place is Bolivia - just outside of Cochabamba. A club, Club Municipal Tiquipaya is ascending.
Here's a little bit of the history:
We've also just wrapped up 2027 with a league title. We just can't crack Copa Libertadores - having progressed from our group twice without winning a knockout match - we're still miles behind Argentina and even more, Brazil.League Rankings, the Bolivian league currently sit 9th:
Our finances are looking great and we have been upgrading facilities here and there:
This is after shelling out $5.5M for a new stadium and $2.5M on new training/youth facilities!
And what a stadium!
And overall facilities:
My most fun save in awhile.

January 2035
A very busy month sees us drop a 3-1 result to Man City and sees us crash out of the Carabao Cup in the Semi Finals. We are still alive in the FA Cup and have drawn Leicester at home in the fifth round. We've faced many of the teams near the top of the Premier League table this month so we have a far easier run-in than many of the teams around us!
We sit third but with a game in hand on Manchester United and superior goal difference. There is a lot of football to be played, though!***Loan Player spotlight***
John Wright is developing very well on loan at Derby. He is top 5 in the Championship with 11 goals scored thus far into the campaign. I'm hoping that he'll see some Premier League minutes on loan next season before trying to break into the first team.
***Liverpool Players of the Month***
Ethan Ampadu has filled in admirably in spot duty with fixture congestion taking a toll. He has provided 3 assists and a 7.24 average rating playing at right back over his last 5 matches.
Luc Mathieu gets a nod by virtue of his performances in training. He has two goals and a 7 average rating over his last 5 matches. He is continuing to get better and better!

A Sign of Things to Come???
Not great, Bob - not great.

December 2034
What the hell happened against bottom side Cardiff???? We were actually played off the park, too! Aside from that, a great month!
We still sit top and face Man City away on 1 December...
We've won our Champions League group, as well!
Aberg is just a star!0 -
Champions League Draw
Tough draw, but we have to beat them eventually!0 -
November 2034
A little bit of an up-and-down month but overall, not too bad. We demolished Leicester, which was a nice pick-me-up!
We sit second, just three points off the top. We've drawn far too many matches!
We are firmly top of the group on goal difference.***Liverpool Players of the Month***
Viktor Aberg has been of the highest influence, providing 7 assists and a 7.84 rating over his last 5 matches!
David has been a pillar in defense, averaging 7.16 over has last 5 matches.

October 2034(+ a couple of days)
I can't complain too much - two 1-1 draws with good sides away isn't too bad! We are cruising through our Champion's League Group, as well!
Very close at the top!
We're nearly through!
Otavio is the player of October!
***Liverpool Players of the Month***
Serkan Yesilordek has scored 4 goals over his last 5 matches, with an average rating of 7.46.
Kenneth Hansen has been on fire for us, averaging 7.64 over his last 5 matches and anchoring our back line!
Randy De Jong has reasserted himself as the starter on the right wing, scoring 3 goals and averaging 7.74 over his last 5 matches.

September 2034
A very good September, headlined by our 5-0 drubbing of Barcelona!
We sit top of the table for now!
And top of our Champion's League Group.
Not bad!
And John Wright and Alex Booth are kicking on nicely at Derby!

Well played, what a career! I cannot wait to see Karel forge his own path - hopefully this is the start of a long series of FMCU's from you, sir!

I'm really enjoying this save and hope that you are - mostly selfishly - as I don't want to see it end. How are you feeling about Juve? Thinking that a new challenge is on the horizon???? Either way, you're looking unbeatable at times - KUTGW!

You've only gone and converted me to FM Touch - I've found that I've petered out on full fat saves too quickly but the quick changes in touch keep me coming back to see what the future holds.

We NEARLY got one over the line at Kilmarnock!

What a gem - I only wish that he was 14 or 15 years old but that's a small gripe! Your academy is clearly sufficiently well-developed and is now churning them out like a well-practiced production line!

You must be beating back offers for Rodriguez, no? If so, who are the main suitors and how much are they coming in at??? Are any of your other youngsters receiving interest?

Still not feeling Porto???? Seems to me that the pressure isn't getting to you!

Pre-Season 2030-2031
Not bad, to be honest. Really should have beaten Inter Miami but otherwise we looked good value.***Transfers***
A pretty busy offseason sees some players going both ways.First, the outgoing players. As you can see we've made some loans but I'll not delve into those as they're mainly developmental projects.
Ali Baker leaves us for €1.1M to join Millwall - a great move for him and for us! We picked him up after a spell with Everton as a free agent and he went into our youth academy. He definitely has some potential and it's a shame to see him go but with that offer and the 50% of his next sale, we're sitting in a very good position.
Next up, Magnus Skollsegg. This one hurt a little bit but he wanted playing time and we have honestly passed his level by. We cashed in to the tune of €5M and 50% of his next sale profit. He was a wonderful servant for us, sticking with us from League One to the Prem and I wish him all the best on his next adventure in Turkey.
Steve Butterfield leaves us for Derby. He was an academy product and to get €205K and 50% of his next sale seems like the right price. Represent us well, young man!
Now, the incoming players - the exciting part!
Johnny Kelly is the first one in the door for for €14M from Serie A side, Napoli. We desperately needed an upgrade in the center of our defense(as you'll continue to see) and Kelly really fits the bill. He needs work on his aerial ability but he is very solid all-around.
Clifton Harris is our final paid transfer for the year, coming to us from Chelsea for €2.1M. This signing is based on future projection and versatility along the back line. I'm hoping to transition him out to the right and let him zip up and down that side of the pitch. I'll be very interested to see his development in a few years' time.
Alessandro Caputo comes to us as a free agent from Inter Milan. He was touted as the next big thing but never achieved those lofty heights for one reason or the other. He'll fit perfectly in our side with great passing and technique, great mental and physical abilities, and a dash of flair.
Lloyd Butler is a pacy attacker that I can see on the right side of my attack, as a menace for outside backs. We picked him up as a free agent after Huddersfield didn't pick up his contract - although, he did have a decent return of 17 goals in 38 appearances with them.
Baba Laryea is another player that I'm very excited about. He may not look like much on the surface but he brings some depth for the center of my midfielder. ALSO, he is English as well as Ghanaian.
George Garrett was a player that I took a flier on. I didn't scout him at all, signing him for cheap and hoping for the best. We'll see how it works out.
Dean Nolan is another Center Back that can provide some cover for us. At just 22, I was happy to take the chance on him.
Steve Frost is another player that I thought very long and hard about signing. In the end, I didn't see a negative as his physical and mental skills more than make up for the risk. Stoke let him go after just seeing 6 appearances - we'll see how he gets on here!
***The Squad***
Here's how we'll line up

An Interesting Development
Why not???

As an aside, I'm going to break away from my commitment to only signing English, Scottish, Irish, Northern Irish, and Welsh players - I will continue to try to prioritize these nationalities but will not exclude other options anymore..... sorry for the about-face.
I've been scouring the free transfer market and the castoffs from other sides and I saw this young man - wow! We can't afford him but what a find!
