[How is Expected Goals Prevented / 90 Calculated?]

Still makes very little sense to me. My GK has only saved 1.44 Expected goals over all competitions but a worse GK that is performing worse has saved more.

I would agree that I thought a lower score is better but then when I look at the league rankings it has the highest number ranked at 1. Also my gk is ranked at 1.05 goal per match expected goals saved / 90 which means he should have saved 31.5 goals in his 30 Premiere league matches which is an interesting stat considering he has only conceded 26.

The penalty stats also show how many they have faced with the saves in brackets as you can see below.

As the title says how is the Expected Goals Prevented / 90 calculated?
As i was looking at a scouting report for a new GK I saw a the Expect Goals Prevent / 90 stat and thought I would compare it to my Goal Keeper

I could see that my GK has an Expected Goals Prevented Goal / 90 Stat of - 1.44
Initially I assumed that this meant that my GK was letting in 1.44 goals a match more than he should be but my GK has conceded less than a goal per match.
So I thought maybe he is saving 1.44 expected goals a match but I thought the minus sign does not make sense.
I checked a few more GKs to try and work it out and saw that the Arsenal GK has a EGP/90 of - 3.19 buthas conceded more than a goal per match. So is his team extected to concede shed loads per match?

Any help will be appreciated.

[Loyalty Bonus when Signing a new Contract]

Hi all,

As we know when a player signs a contract they negotiate a loyalty bonus which gets paid on a monthly basis.

If we sell the player we pay out the full remaining bonus unless they have handed a transfer request in which voids the bonus.

My question is what happens if we offer them a new contract?

Does it get paid in full or is it voided with the new loyalty bonus taking over from the date that they sign?

I have searched online and these forums and I cannot find anything that clarifies this.

I can confirm that bugs are looked at as I have been in conversation with SI via private messages to provide further information about the nature of bugs so they can create a fix.
It must also be considered that fixing a problem can cause other issues in a large database like this so they have to test fixes before they are implemented as well.

In my current save with Welling my Head of Youth Development is also a Director.

I am unable to fire him and when I try to hire another the board are blocking it.

As you can imagine he has terrible stats as well.

Is there any way to get rid of him or do I just have to wait for a board takeover?

[Only Able to Offer Staff Non-Contract Deals]

Hi all,

In my save with Welling I am only able to offer Goalkeeping Coaches, Fitness Coaches and all Scouts including the Chief Non Contract deals.

I have never seen this before and was wondering what the cause could be.

I am currently in the Vanarama National League and this was the case when I was in the Vanarama South as well.

For save games to be transferable from one version to another we will need to be able to add/remove leagues and their players from within a save.

What I mean is I play with all leagues and players loaded as it helps to make transfer prices etc more realistic imo. But if I transfer to a new fm and they have lost the license foe 5 leagues and replaced with another 5 then I would habe a smaller database of teams/players and it would lose some of the realism.

I would like to debunk some of the myths around Commercial links.

Is there any difference on income dependant on country / reputation of the feeder club?

Does your club reputation affect this?

Do you only earn extra if you sign a player from their country or is that an extra boost?

I normally like to pick a feeder club dependant on their youth recruitment and facilities also considering if I have knowledge of that country.

I am under the impression that the merchandising tag is not related to reputation but more of a risk box that says yes they earn more money from signings and an extra boost if they are from their country / region.

I have just won  League 2 on my 1st attempt and I have been paid a £482k solidarity payment from the league.

Since when did you get solidarity payments on promotion?

This is not listed anywhere in the rules either.

The rules do state a 200k parachute payment however.

[Coach Assignments Changing]

Has anyone else experienced their coach assignments changing on their own?

Every time I add a new staff member and look at the assignments to adjust them for the new staff member I see that everybody has extra areas assigned reducing their effectiveness.

I have my assistant running training but that should only change the training schedule not who coaches which area.

Hi guya not sure what I have done wrong but none of the kits / faces or logos I have downloaded are working on my gamepass version of FM22.

 

I have installed everything to the following path C:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\Football Manager 2022\Graphics

 

And I have adjusted the settings to turn caching off and reload skin and I have reloaded the skin as well.

 

Never had an issue on the Steam version so any advice would he appreciated.

 

[Badges Disappeared From Kits]

Hi as described in the title badges have disappeared from kits in my game.

I have installed a logo pack and everything was working correctly.

I then manually added the logos from an old pack that were not included in any packs.

This is when the logos disappeared from the kits.

What could have caused this issue and is there anything I could do to rectify this issue without removing the logos?
