  1. @crusadertsar but it’s difficult to score goals edit: now it’s better. I changed a little and try to play more to the strengths of the players which you mentioned above. My team still isn’t a favourite many players are youngsters from the academy and still no money but expectations are high.
  2. Hey @crusadertsar I’m here as well for sure, your work is really inspiring and helpful. I gave your tactic a go in my longtime (FM20) save with 1860 Munich and did. really well. Against an underdog I played with your midblock (Lower LoE) and gut plenty of shots and goals. Just wonderful! beforehand I had the 4231 with Vol / Reg (DLP) combo and now with the 433 there is no true playmaker (I’m not sure if I like that) but my IW is kind of creative up front I play a CFa. But the main part for me is the hard working defensive. It’s very difficult for our opponents Tonscherben a goal (often just a setpiece). good work!
  3. It’s not. It’s looking like the pragmatic approach you describe here. (Really) mentality is balanced. I like your approach in just upping LoE / DL or VOLa for more urgency toward a goal. I learned a lot here, again. Are you finished here or will there be more to share from you? best funfact: my CFa is from Ivory Coast
  4. The changes were simple: I noticed that my defenders had difficulties with crosses and headers, there was always the one that went in and I just switched to standard wide in defense to receive less crosses in the box. apart from that my team likes to play on the front foot (had 4 years of Gegenpress) and played more dangerously with higher LoE and DL. I like to switch it both back on standard when we score our first goal together with more disciplined. our frontline is now IFa CFa IWa and AMs behind. It’s working out superb
  5. Thx @crusadertsar for your reply. The mentality is balanced already. I am fine tuning your ideas implementing them to a German 2nd division side. I have to try it and see what happens after all I need to play to my players strengths. I notice that my players have very high ratings and my team has the best chances but fails to grab the goal but concedes the dirty header out of a set piece. for example: the REG got a POM performance with 8 key passes despite losing the game 0:2
  6. Always enjoying your writing @crusadertsar it’s so helpful and it’s fun to try it out. Question: I have a strong and slow TM, a creative and aggressive fast AM a strong fast IF and a quick IW. at the moment I am close to your tactics. FBs left WB right REG left VOL right my front line is IFa AMa IWs and TMs up front. Which works well but often we miss a goal. Would you play all three behind the TMs in attacking duties?
  7. I am always relishing this thread because of the nostalgia which coming up when I read about the golden age of football the 90ies and beginning of the new century when Mou was new and on top of his science. man those were the days! Thank you @crusadertsar and I am hoping for a new update. I have implemented the concept in FM20 with 1860 Munich and it’s a beautiful 433 with quick transition but with a few concepts of possession football. IFs CFa IWs MEZa DLPs DMd IWBs CDd CDd WBs SKd its a a wider front three with IFs stay wider and the WB in the right with MEZ and IWs close behind, giving us 5 attacking players close to the final third. Behind are the DLP and the IWB for retaining possession and the DM fighting for lose balls. mentality is attacking as you suggested for quick transitions.
