    The tactics on console and full PC version aren't the same. There are a few instructions that are missing I believe. Probably the reason you can't use tactics between the two, I've tried myself. If you search Youtube for FM tactics and fine one you like they normally talk through the tactic and you can follow along. Problem is that no doubt their tactic will include an instruction you cannot give

    Might sound odd but you could buy FM24 console edition on Microsoft store and play the "Xbox" version on laptop. I don't have a PS5 but struggle to play the full game for the same reasons as you and find the console version a happy medium. I've played FM Touch on my tablet as well. Most of the things that are missing are like interactions with players and the media interactions aren't as detailed....but that stuff annoyed me!! Biggest issue for me is no facepacks and logos which to be just add that realism. I love it and have a couple of network saves ongoing

    Simply put no. The only way it might be possible is if facepacks worked when playing the console version on PC, but they don’t 😢

    Hi There is no way to do this but they are the same as the full game. This means if you are playing on PC just download the full game and the editor. If your PC is too slow to run the full game and change preferences etc just load the editor and search in there. Just interesting in what you are attempting with the ID’s? I’ve done a few bits of editing of the console game but I’m at a roadblock with the .EDT files

    @lugui sounds good. One thing I’ve noticed is that anything date wise has to be separated by a “/“ and not “.” , if u use a “.” then it doesn’t work. I’m sure people use these or SI have a list of the working commands so not sure why it cannot just be shared….would save a lot of time and wasted effort.

    Just to try and put some weight behind this. If we can find this out then it would increase the amount of editing that we can do to the console version of FM23. I can already swap teams, add all the players in the game to a save and change competition names etc.

    Does anyone have a list of working .EDT file commands for FM23? I’ve found old forum posts with details but a lot don’t seem to work. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

    I’ve just got to Dec 2025 and the squads have been announced for the African Nations Cup and all the teams in the tournament are B teams. When I look at competition history it is all normal. No idea why all of a sudden B teams are being used. Also group D and E only have 3 teams and the other groups have 4.
