  1. I was playing a FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round replay as Hornchurch vs Dag & Red. Local derby! I noticed that D&R had been able to make 5 subs so in extra time I tried to do the same to be told no, you've made the maximum number of subs. I made my three subs at the same time so its not like I've used too many stoppages. See screenshots below and I've uploaded saves which I hope are before and after. I eventually lost the match to a penalty in the 120th minute
  2. This is weird as I have to say I almost never have an issue with at least as long my full backs or at least two players of some sort are on stay back. The fact that you have four stay back should make that more secure. Perhaps with so many staying back the game inclines them all to get further forward? There's something at play there - I've not tried it on fmm23 but tell all your players but one to stay back and a lot of them will still end up in the box - it seems to be influenced by the opposition players positions I think. Another point to make is with four staying back you're more likely to lose the ball - perhaps that has some to do with it.

  4. I discovered a player on loan to me (Yianni Goulandris) suffered a broken leg in training and is out for 8 months, but I didn't get a news report about it. I suspect this is a news filtering issue. Please find a bunch of screenshots demonstrating the problem. I've uploaded a save but I don't seem to have an autosave from before it happened unfortunately - although I suspect you'd struggle to recreate the injury?
  5. I'm not saying its not a bug, but you'll also see that level up symbol if they've recently levelled up via training. That's what will have happened here.
  6. I've always assumed this is a deliberate decision to make it a bit more difficult. Its always been like this. If you play as smaller teams youll often find players available on a free who it says are interested but aren't really. Equally just because a player doesn't come up with this filter on doesn't guarantee they wouldn't sign for you (although it is far less likely).
  7. I don't think this is going to come via an update, if you'll get it it'll be in fmm 24. I'm sure there will be competing priorities but it would be an interesting league.

  12. I think you'll need to start a new game with the new match engine. I'm not sure because I've never used OME, but I'd imagine it's necessary.
  13. It looks like you're playing with the original match engine (OME) and I suspect that the team talk is a feature of the Enhanced Match Engine (EME). When you first installed and open the game, it detects the specifications of your device and sets the engine. If you have a very old device, it may recommend your device cannot cope with EME. But you should be able to change it in your settings before you open a save.
  14. That's a reflection of your players average ability being lower in fitness than other teams. This is specifically Aerial, Pace, Stamina and Strength. Hiring several good fitness coaches could help, but you might just need to recruit better players. edit: you could also tell your players to focus training on a physical attribute they're weak at.

    Crash on launch

    I've just tested and its working on my Nougat 32 bit environment but not Nougat 64 - crashes out after the splash screens. Still works on Pie 64.
  16. Not sure this is a bug. What are you experiencing? General tips: hire fitness coaches, lower training intensity, make sure you're resting players when they're not match fit, e.g. i tend to rest if they are at or below 95% wherever possible. Your medical centre may provide some insight.
  17. The one with the player card, ie with his photo or regen face or silhouette, is a description of the player. Sometimes this might say thinks like winger, but other times it will be things like 'wonderkid', 'decisive full back', 'erratic goalkeeper' - its like a media description. The description above the aerial attribute is the actual role on the pitch associated with the player. Depending on your settings, this will either be the recommended role for the player in their preferred position, or it will be the role you've chosen that player to train in, if different (in which case it will show a * next to it).

  19. If you mean the new format, that isn't a bug, it's what UEFA has said will happen from that season.

    Crash on launch

    This is happening for me too. It wasn't when the game was released but now is. It gets as far as the license text page then crashes out. I use Bluestacks emulator, tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions. The 32 bit has never worked, but 64 bit was working to begin with and now isn't. It was emulating a One Plus, and now a Samsung S20+ with same result. Tried reinstalling which didn't help. It launches for me fine on my Moto (g) 9 Play. Edit: Bluestacks allows you to set up three different types of emulator, Nougat 32 bit, Nougat 64 bit and Pie 64 bit. I tried the Pie 64 bit and it seems to be working for me. So perhaps something related to Nougat? When setting up this Pie 64 bit environment, I followed the instructions on this page to choose custom ABI setting and select everything. Just letting you know that in case it helps you isolate the issue.
  21. Pretty sure that's exactly why it's not set up to work like that because that was how we broke the game!!
