Thanks!
Yes, it is still in the basic rules, I haven't been able to verify the rules even without teams dropping from Champions League to World League in the advanced rules yet. Keep getting a message about the number of teams doesn't match, even though they should. Think I played with your mod on fm22, it was a great mod! Only reason I can't play with your mod is that I just want teams from 20 nations to qualify for the tournament, as that gives fewer games which again will speed up the game. Does your version slow the game down much? Are there a lot of games for teams from the top 2o nations? (I have made kind of a clustered world league with 2o different national rules to be able to play on all continents and with every cool team I can think of)

Was wondering if anyone with more knowhow about the advanced rules could help me with this. I've made a worldwide Champions League file, and I want the teams that finish third in their group in the Champions League to go into the first knockout round of the World league (like they do in Europe). I can't even get the file to work in the advanced rules without this change. Might have to add another round in the World League for it to work, as I'd like the 3 best teams in the world league groups to advance to the knock out stages as well.
Thanks in advance, Morgan

1. Pre-editor: make it possible to edit continental and international cups without making a whole new one
2. Ingame editor:
-be able to edit more dat in nations; sponsorship values, transfer values, wage values etc.
- be able to edit more tournament details such as prize money, venues, awards and so on

1. Automatically return from holiday if your club offers you a new contract
2. More clauses etc when you negotiate a contract with a club (for the manager that is). Extension if both parties agree/win the league etc, release clause if a big club is after you
3. At clubs where the sporting director has all the power, he/she should decide if the club should approach player x
4. Better/different club objectives; lower squad age, play a different type of football, reduce wages, sell for a certain amount pf money each year
5. Realistic finances - get into debt, have to sell to buy, consequences of missing out on continental football and so on (lower transfer and wage budgets, maybe sponsorship deals should take a harder hit as well)
6. More realistic transfer market
7. More realism when a player chooses a new club (plan for him and playing time should matter more, not just reputation)
8. Better AI squad building (maybe they should strive to maintain an average squad age in the range of 24-28 or something, they rarely let older players go at the right time)
9. Experience should be more important (I usually win the league with a bunch of kids, not very realistic in most cases)
10. More AI variety in formations and roles used
11. Better AI game managment - like make changes to counter a specific type of threat from the other team
12. Better advice for assistant manager - does the other team pose a specific threat and how to counter it
13. Less limitations to each player role - we should be sble to tailor each role as we please (change the existing roles to make the players behave the way we want them to)
14.Change the set pieces
15. Empower the sporting director more, he is usually the boss of the manager, not the other way around
16. Politey ask Daveincid for some input on tips to make the game even more realistic

Will this file be posted om Steam as well?

I am looking for a merge of the mexican and American (US) leagues. I've tried doing it myself in the editor, and the league test says it should work, but the game won't load due to lack of rules of some sort. I have tried moving them into several different leagues without luck, and I have done so successfully in the past. If anybody would be interested in making such a "North American super league" that would be great.
I am also looking for a working worldwide champions league file if such a thing exists (Has to work with advanced rules)

When you download a datafile from Steam, where is it saved? I want to make som adjustments to it, but I am unable to load it into the editor. I have tried to both import and load file, but only the files I have created myself show up. What can I do to edit the downloaded datafiles? I want to load them into the editor or possibly merge them with some of my own datafiles
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Is this file a database? Try opening the editor and search there when "Load Editor Data"
See the differences in the icons? The ones that appears as a text page are the ones that either I downloaded through this page or the ones I created myself. The icon that appears as the one signaled is the one that I downloaded from Steam
Yes, it is a database, one that provides staff at Ajax. The only editor file that appears when I click on load editor files is one that I'v made myself. I'm quite familiar with the editor from previous versions, which is why I found it strange that I couldn't find any of the ones I downloaded from steam this time

Hi
I have downloaded a file via Steam, and I want to make some personal adjustments. However, I can't seem to locate it anywhere, it's not in the same folder as my own edited files. I've tried searching for it as well as import instead of load, but still nothing. Does anybody know where to find them?
Cheers

If you're using custom leagues with your mod, will the league reputation be dynamic?
Ps! These leagues are located on different continents
Ps2! I have assigned coefficient points to the different rounds of the cups

Been wondering the same thing. I use Dallans worldwide champions league mod with some modifications, and also custom leagues. Would be great if the league standing would be dynamic dependant in continental performances (with coefficient points activated of course)

Ah, that seems like a valid reason, thanks for explaining, then aI won't waste any more time creating different continental awards
worldwide awards should still work as intended if I understood this correctly?

For some reason it seems that a lot of awards go missing when I use this file. None of the awards from the Asian and African continent appear, and there are others missing too. I think I have isolated the problem to this file. Anyone else come across this problem? Any clues as to why this happens?

Sorry to hear about the unauthorized copying og files and such, that's really not ok. Love your mods, they've really revolutionized FM for me, and probably many others as well. Hope you're doing ok and that you eventually find the energy to complete your great work, but take your time to recover; the community can wait.
Cheers

A pure file for awards. I am not sure where the mistake lies, but it must be something I've done wrong I suppose... You can see the awards for both continents?

In my saves, no awards from Africa or Asia appear, none of the original ones nor a few I've made myself. The "award winners" icon doesn't even show, anybody else come across this problem? Is there anything I can do to "activate" them?
Also, quite a few custom awards in Europe and worldwide don't appear either

I've now figured out it is listed as club culture the chinese clubs in the game (cannot sign non-chinese goalkeepers), but doesn't show up under the club nor the chairmans club vision, therefor I conclude it must be hardcoded

With a customised league and customised continental cup, will the league reputation be dynamic or static? Where can one edit the coefficient points gained in the different rounds when editing a custom continental cup using advanced rules?
I've figured out where I can edit this in basic rules, but can't relocate using advanced rules

When creating the advanced rules the rules should be there and can be deleted.
You'd think so, but I haven't added that rule in the custom league database (which takes place in another country). My assumption was that any rule that applied to chinese teams in china would not apply in this custom league. Maybe it is hardcoded or something?

Is it in any way possible to remove the rule where chinese clubs must only use chinese goalies? I play with a custom database where those teams have been placed in a different league, but still they must use chinese goalies. I want to remove that rule somehow, but can't figure out how

Hi!
Is there any way of making the different leagues show which teams are currently on track to qualify for these differente tournaments? It differs from nation to nation how many teams qualify, it would be nice to know if you how many teams will qualify for different tournaments when a season starts
Cheers!
