  1. Thank you for your response but I want to point out two scenarios and ask if they mean the same thing. In one instance I use counter pressing alone and trigger press is set to the max limit. In another scenario I use counter attack and trigger pressing is set to max limit. My question is are they doing the same thing? Cos to me I understand counter pressing to be pressing the ball and winning it back and then starting a counter attack
  2. Good day guys. I want to ask a question? Is counter pressing, trigger pressing and counter attacking the same thing? Like for example am coaching a team and I want them to counter press only without counter attacking. Is it the same thing as wanting another team to always trigger press while not counter pressing but the team counter attacks?
  3. Like I said....FM is more of a game of practical's than theory were you read stuffs and try to implement but still don't work. As I later found out that training happiness and making players very happy depends on you changing the training schedule instead of sticking to one schedule which leaves the players training happiness on satisfied or content with training
  4. I might be wrong but i think adjusting the slides (the ones circled in red) has a lot to do with player happiness
  5. Ok. thanks for the above tip but one more thing, is it possible to make them happy or very happy based on their positive and negative reactions to training?
  6. Thanks for this tip but can you show me evidence of this working like a screenshot or something. I tend not to only take theoretical tips but practical tips with evidence cos that way i can implement easily
  7. How do i make my players very happy or happy with training instead of being satisfied or unhappy? I want it to be visibly shown in the squad dynamics Happiness "Training Column"
  8. Good day community. Please i wanted to ask what the difference is between resting a player individually and training schedule rest? I watched a video by RDF Tactic were he gave tips and although i knew you could do it but hardly ever do since i assume that on my training schedule after a match my players get to recover then rest but found out that you can rest players individually. I want to know the difference.
  9. Kindly explain the last part were u said try not to select roles with PIs that alleviate pressure
  10. Good day community I feel so confused at the moment because it seems that for every new version of our beloved game that comes out i have to learn and relearn a lot of the basics which i knew before. On previous FM's prior to FM22 i had no issues pressing but since FM23 came out i can no longer press effectively. My question is for an effective press how do i use PI trigger press and tight marking and TI trigger press while using opposition instruction trigger press and tight marking?
  11. I was able to find a solution to the problem. The following screenshots came in handy. Thanks
  12. Good day community. I just got fm23 after getting a new laptop. I was really looking forward to playing it but after playing it am beginning to get uninterested in playing it. I once complained about the fact why Tight Marking TI was removed from the game as it enables me to press effectively cos I love to press and had perfected it but I just Can't seem to press without tight marking TI despite using tight marking PI. One other thing that got me off was that if they removed tight marking TI then why leave other TI like trigger press, passing, get stuck in etc when we have them all on PI but SI removes only Tight marking TI and leaves only the PI. It just doesn't make sense. This game is getting unplayable and uninteresting. Please if anyone can help how I can go about playing an effective pressing game cos I still feel we need the tight marking TI back.
  13. Good day community. Please i would like to ask why tight marking team instruction wasn't included in FM23?
  14. Good day everyone. Would need help concerning what passes to play during certain weather conditions. Like for example when its windy, wet, snowy, heavy downpours, gale etc when should i play short passes or direct passes? I would need every opinion possible
  15. Thanks for this info and i am greatful for your suggestions. Until next time
  16. Thanks for your info. I will implement it into my tactic. Just one more thing. What if i select tight marking as player instruction and tight marking as opposition instruction at the same time, what happens? For example i play 4-2-3-1 and i set tight marking as a player instructions for the two midfielders and set tight marking as opposition instructions on the two midfielders the opponents have?
  17. Good day si forum family. I love fm to the core. My question is what is the difference between tight marking as player instruction and tight marking as opposition instructions? I need all the help and explanations i can get. And is tight marking zonal marking?
  18. Good day Please i would need your help guys on this. Recently i started playing a low block because for a while it was all about pressing for me. I play a 4-2-3-1 formation. When playing a low block which roles and duty best suites my two midfielders? Anticipating ur comments, engagements and contribution. Innocent
