Sorry if I'm missing your point but I find the little hearts to be a decent indication of match readiness. If you want something more in depth then the medical centre has all you need.

Are you saying that's too much or too little?

I'm well aware that interactions are just broken to hell but maybe try and just not criticise in the first place? There are ways to completely avoid some of these issues.

Euro 2028 in the UK has just started on my save. Can I find which stadium each game is played in? Can I hell.

Have never paid attention to them and this year is no different. I imagine that is probably easier to do when starting as an 'experienced' manager.

Apologies if this has been covered- Has anyone tried the IWB/IFB with 2 DM's? Intrigued by the effect that may have on their positioning.

I am convinced that you can tell what a var call will be a few seconds before the animation by looking at the reactions of the players. They animation for the players seems to kick in early. I might be seeing things.

Agree with Dave. It just stands out when it happens. I can remember it happening a hell of a lot whenever I've played FM. But that's also hundreds, maybe thousands, of simulated seasons. I've seen it happen in real life many, many times with Arsenal and I've seen 30 ish seasons of football. Funnily enough I had an ultra version of this in my current save. Playing as Arsenal and had that weird scheduling quirk where you sometimes play away to a team in December and home in January. Or vice versa. Got City in the league cup semi's and the FA Cup 4th round. 5 games in about 6 weeks. Throw in the Community Shield the previous August. And the next years. And a Champions League semi-final. 9 games in a year.

Fair enough if you think there's too many but it's completely ridiculous to say Villa and Bournemouth would be unrealistic. I don't think there are any teams I'd consider to be unrealistic for a takeover, at all, anywhere.

Taking a slight step back- the overall lack of progression with FM over the last 3/4/5 years is the most disappointing thing for me. I can remember loading up 23 for the first time and just really wondering what the hell had changed. I get that loads goes on 'under the hood' and not every update is visual. I just have been disappointed every single year for quite some time. I'll caveat that by saying that apart from 23, I still play the games to death and get enjoyment from them.

I leave set pieces to a coach at the moment. Is there any benefit to having more than one?

To be honest I don't think I've ever had a decent recommendation from my DOF for any staff on any edition of FM. A quick search in the staff listings and I can absolutely find someone better in about 30 seconds. Completely useless.

Love the new inbox item about when a new manager joins another team in the league. Absolutely nowhere does it state who the previous manager was. I'm told about all the old coaches that have been let go. Sure I could click around and find out but did this really get overlooked when building this inbox news item? Another example of a simple, effective addition executed poorly.

Anyone noticed some quite bizarre international selections? Playing as Arsenal and a couple of my newgens are already full internationals for Ireland. They've only ever played under 18 football and have barely developed. I assumed the Irish were having trouble finding decent players until... Bought an 18 year old Norwegian GK to come in as my 3rd choice keeper. Fairly decent potential but currently.... awful. He had never played senior football before. Signed him and a day later he's called into the Norway squad. He's never been called up to the youth squads. He is now their absolute number 1 keeper. Not to beat up on the poor young man but he's nowhere near good enough yet. Is international selection determined by player value? It's the only reason I can see.

Oh defenders are very much still raising their hands in real life.

I avoid promises and targets at all cost so I don't see these screens much if at all. It absolutely blows my mind that a promise/target in this game is to 'reduce unhappiness in the squad'. Even if the game wasn't currently making that extremely difficult, that is a shoddy promise/target to have to undertake.
