Managers do not decide what strip the team plays in. Managers do not decide transfer dealings. The former is not a game feature, the latter is. Your argument that strip selection shouldn't be in the game because that's not the manager's job, then SI should take away our ability to make transfers, and leave that entirely to the DoF.
But that would be ridiculous, just as telling someone to go play EAFC just because they asked a question would be.
What are you actually on about my agrument you absolute **** since when has an opinion been an argument? im not arguing with anyone you stupid person as i said this wasnt a discussion about Managers do not decide transfer dealings READ THE TITLE TOPIC DISCUSSION you absolute ******. i couldnt care less about about kit clashes on FM im not picky about little things like that and to state it as an argument you seriously need to step away from you pc/laptop and go socialise in the real world

Yes a discussion about Selecting Jersey Color for Matches as said in the title of this topic, it had nothing to do with what you said haha. If you wanted to talk about on why would the manager have any say on how much the club are willing to spend on a player? Or any aspect of their contract? That's the Director of Football's job, literally nothing to do with the manager, hows about start a new topic about it if you have a problem or want to discuss it with other people its very simple to do. I really dont need to be suited to twitter cause people like you are in these forums that are just as brain dead as them lot who use twitter, peace

Your double standard makes it relevant.
whats the title of this discussion? can you read? where have i talked about ''the manager have any say on how much the club are willing to spend on a player? Or any aspect of their contract? That's the Director of Football's job, literally nothing to do with the manager'' you commenting to me about absolutley nothing to do with the selecting of kit colours makes it irrelevent to this discussion so your double standards comment is just pure waffle haha. Its like you're trying to make this into a argument over a FM discussion jesus go touch grass pal.

News flash we're not talking about why would the manager have any say on how much the club are willing to spend on a player, this is about selecting kit colour for matches hence the title of the discussion so your point to me is irrelevent.

If you don't mind matches where both teams wear the same color, good for you... No need to get pissy though... Peace.
how was i getting pissy with you? If You're getting butt hurt over a comment i made about you might as well go play EAFC24 career mode if youre interested in things like that over than bigger issuse with the game or things that would actually make future FMs better then good luck with that dead request.

I totally agree with you. On some odd occasions the strip choice is illogical and leads to colour clash.
We should have a chance to choose kit.
If we are going to get so hung up on what we think happens in real life I am sure that the manager would have something to say
if there was going to be a colour clash.
why would the manager have any say on what colour kit the team should wear hahaha, Its the kit managers job to sort out the kits literally nothing to do with the manager.

How are jersey kits selected before matches IRL and in FM?
I sometimes see automatic selections that don't make much sense.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could choose the kit before matches start whenever possible?...
You might as well go play EAFC24 career mode if youre interested in things like that, i think its one of the most pointless things to add on future FMs.

I had a tycoon takeover with Torquay United in Vanrama National League South who was willing to pump £27 million into new players on this years game so if i can get one in the lowest playable league in England im most definte you can get one in portugal. its just come down to luck

Torquay United would be an interesting save in VNL South with whats going on at the club, Im hoping this 2nd part to main update thats due in a few weeks will have them starting on -10pts at the start of the season with them been deducted ten points after going into administration today

so are we likely to get 2 updates? one imminent and the other being a J league and other leagues changes further down the line?
It's pointless asking cause no one in here knows, only Sports Interative. They will be out when its ready to be out and im sure they will give you news later down the line what will happen with the J-League changes.

That depends, some versions had an update early February and the final update mid/late march so...it's possible to get an update soon.
Since FM20 as i cant see any news on previous FMs theres only ever been one winter update in Febuary and that was on the 22nd so thats clearly not early Febuary, they're most likely to come out at the start of March and towards the back end of March if its a two parter like it has been in previous FMs

If you play Football Manager on PC/Laptop you can look back on previous Football Managers on steam as to when the winter update drops it will give you a good indication when the winter update comes out. which is normanlly early March

Yeah, that’s what I ended up doing last year after ShopTo lost the Beta
i Bought a copy of FM24 off Fanatical with the discount code ZIMSMULA for £35.05 the sites approved partner with SEGA and comes with fm24 beta access and got the key code within seconds once i bought it to activate in steam

Every time i start up a new save whether that's a unemployed save or a chosen team to start with i always see the same managers go to the same team no matter what, Ive tested this a good number of time now and im seeing the same club appoint the same manager with every new save i start up. Is this something that's just locked into the game or is there a way i can see a different manager joining a club that's not the same manager ive seen past 10 times ive loaded up a new save cheers.

i would say go onto steam then fm23 local files and verify integrity of game files see if that works or you could try just going on holiday for a day see if that does anything

cheers guys learnt something new here, just one more question about it do i test rules for all the English leagues or just below the Vanarama National League North/South?

Does anyone know when the English League Tier 10 Database will be Verified? as im looking to start my new saves now the final update has dropped? its got verified for the previous 23.0.0 and 23.3.0 updates so just wondering how long it will/could take to get tested and verified in the editor. cheers

Never knew some countries wernt allowed to have them tbh but knew Portugal has never been a problem to get one just have to be lucky to get one or keep checking clubs landmarks under history to see what type of takeover they have. Ive never seen the big 3 (Porto, Benfica and Sporting) get a tycoon takeover in Portugal but have seen mid/lower teams in Portugal get them on pervious FMs over the years.
