Hello, In FM 23 Touch - i have just moved to Spurs. I had to employ a few new staff. I have check Staff ' responsibilies and also recruitment but i cant see how to scout next opposition? Its not where it says in full game (staff, responsibilies) Thanks

Hunt3r - oh, ok, you look at it that way? I thought it was saying i block lots, but struggle to clear the ball... i say that because in the highlights my players often win the ball for example near the byline and just boot it straight to their team... So your saying this is a good thing?

Hello... I have started as Paris FC. After 9 games i find myself top, but im scraping through (it wont last). I have checked the data hub and im miles left for clearances. I do conceed a few goals when i get the ball back and clear it straight to the opposition. They have scored a few. How do i fix this?

This is an example... i am 3:0 at half time. So i drop to a more stable tactic. 1/ the passing is annoying. I had videos, but my RCB had a free kick. My LCBand LB was open. He passed it straight to the attacker. Ill see how my injuries progress.

Sacamacca has barely played and keeps geeting 4/6 week injuries. Cresswell has played once.

So, the assistant manager does the training. I play a preset 433 I dont have a big squad at West ham but i rotate when a player is less than a full green heart. I play reserves in Conference league. If i am 2:0 up or winning 70 mins onward i play my defensive tactic. (However, the injuires and poor passing have been in every tactic)

Thanks Kyle. I created a number of examples but i cant upload them. Theres Two issues i am noticing. 1/ injuries. In every load i have done i am in an injury crisis? It seems every week, in every save a player is injured for 4/6 weeks. 2/ i am still conceeding a lot where i have the ball and my top level player plays a really poor/sloppy pass straight to the AI who then score.

I have been play FM 21 for s few years and just bought FM 23 Touch. Wow, it is virtually unplayable. 1/ I am constantly getting long term injuries. I often have 7 to 8 players out. Its not a training issue. 2/ 98% of the goals i conceed in a large variety of tactics including Knapp etc are caused by my players giving a very poor or under hit pass. In the build up ill give a poor pass they run on and score. 3/ i cant seem to get a consistant tactic to work. Is everyone experiencing this??

The title is a joke but... im in 2042 and i have built a good Man Utd team. I have a 'breakdown Defensive teams' tactic, so thanks for the advice. But i notice a lot of teams play either 4231 or 442 with a Mezzala? (As Middlesbrough below) So i put my WB left on Defend, moved my DLP to the left side and put on defend and my left IF to IW. In my head this nullifies their threat. Then thinking their mezzala would be on the wing more so i moved my AMC to occupy their DLP and put 'get further forward' on my BBM to overload the middle Thoughts?or was i lucky? I won 7:0 either BBM having all the time in the middle or my Right IF causing chaos...

Thanks Cloud9, Would you turn that off for my break defensive teams down? Or both, i.e against the big clubs away? Thanks for your help

Darj, Could i be cheeky! What would you change below. This is my tactic against hard teams say away or in Champions league i.e Man City away, Barcelona away.

That worked... beat Ajax 7:0 in friendly. They were playing 4141 defensive.

After a season winning the league i find teams play defensive, often playing a 4141. I struggle to break these down and often lose thanks to a ball over the top. I have adapted my 4231 to be more aggressive just against teams playing cautious or defensive with a defensive shape. Any suggestions to break these teams down?

Hey, thanks. That does make sense. I am seeing them using defensive with a 4141 and they are scoring on the break. What tweaks do you suggest to break them down and prevent the breaks?

I have had a successful career starting in league 2 and eventually taking over real madrid. I built a great side and had a lively 4231 which suited my team. Teams mostly play defensive against me and i normally play positive. Im not too attacking and i have a balanced version against the big boys. I find on my version the AI are ridiculous and often get 93 points. That means you need to virtually win every game and any points lost is fatal. I find (my opion only) that my tactics just stop working. Suddenly i will have no highlights and before i know Getafe are winning 2:0? Next game ill have no highlights and lose 1:0 to Cadiz. There is no loss of morale or form. I played on... 2:2, lost 1:0, drew 0:0. The season before i was untouchable. I feel i need to build a completly new tactic i.e 433 or diamond, but i have built to play a 4231? What tweaks do you make to keep tactic fresh each year? Or do you completely change tactic/shape.
