Seen Dr Benjy has a youtue Derby saved

Apaza's red card in the 15th minute put us in a tricky position as we had already hit the crossbar twice. Scarlett's goal was a counter attacking at its finest. Barcelona were reduced to set pieces and long distance efforts, there first shot on target was in the 87th min.

It seems i have a good crop of youngster too
Following a win away to bottom of the table Leicester the Premier Division title is also wrapped up for the 2nd year in a row
My name has also been added to Steve Bloomer and Brian Clough as a club legend following the title win

Well i gave a sneek peak earlier having lost the away leg 2-1 to PSG in the Champions League Quarter Final, our second actual defeat all season, but was relatively confident i could get a result in the home leg.
I wasnt quite prepared for this result.
Arsenal await in the Semi Final

Can I get a screenshot of Arian Kalantari please.. Is he a Striker?
Only Asking as on my save I have picked up a striker from Persepolis who is a regen and English. Cost me 250k but is a massive bargain considering his 3 and half to 4 and half potential.
Sure, i picked him up from Persepolis for 240k as well and he is one of those regens in the database that has a decent potential range.
he obviously hasnt had many games for me but has performed reasonably well out on loan
seen other threads were he has become a beast and had transfers of £100m+
dont think he will be that good for me and i will probably sell him at the end of this season with 2 years left on his contract and could make a tidy profit.

Thanks, @Recyclic3021. I didn't even know extra curricular activities was an option.
My assistant did suggest a team meeting due to low morale. The meeting went well.
The Team Cohesion is also pretty poor when you start of at a new club, Both of the extra-curricular activities give a welcome boost to this dynamic. As a Manager you have less control over Club Atmosphere and Managerial Support, This is mainly about player promises, contract renewals etc keeping players happy with their playing time
This is a snapshot of my current dynamics, obviously we are doing well in the league and cups, so everything should be rosy but i try and fit the odd Team Bonding or Community Outreach in the training schedule where possible.
(just realised i have given a sneak peak of the loss away to PSG in the first leg of the CL QF )

3 times in a row, seem to have an affinity for this competition now.
through to the semi-final of the FA cup where Newcastle stand between us and my first appearance in the Final of this competition. ( I'm presuming the match is still played at Wembley )
Beat Lyon 4-2 in both legs of the 1st knockout round. We got knocked out by Arsenal last year in the QF and the QF draw couldnt have been harder with a trip to Ballon Dor winning Erling Haaland's PSG up very shortly. Porto or Arsenal await in the Semi ( emphasis on if we beat PSG in the QF)
We have also lost our invincible status with a 3-1 defeat away at Anfield in the league but stand 14 points clear in the league with 8 games to go.

well the Jan transfer window ended and i am still unbeaten.
Carabao cup Final booked against Man Utd like last year
Chelsea at home in the FA Cup 4th round
Lyon in the Champions League coming up soon
I said i wasnt thinking about any transfers but....
and outgoing
Ristanic and Javier both got grumpy they werent playing. Ristanic only had a 4* potential max and played on the left wing or front so i was happy to sell for £18m profit.
Javier is probably my future first choice wingback so a loan to Germany suits
Perez is a wonderkid with 5* potential, no work permit so back to Uruguay.
Hitchen is English potential wonderkid
Pease & Soonsup-Bell return having worked with them previously. Both now Fringe backup players.
Man Utd insisted on an optional £141m fee for Pease.........i like his attributes but i dont think i like him that much.

Wheels starting to come off
After moving off the bottom of the Championship Table after 19 games, our good form has deserted us...
I don't want to blame bad luck, but we have had some misfortune along the way... just ask Colin Kazim-Richards...
Injuries in Central Defence
I knew we were going to struggle for goals with the squad we had, but I could've done without injuries to central defenders Curtis Davies (achilles tendon), Richard Stearman (groin) and Phil Jagielka (flu) all at the same time.
In fact, Curtis Davies's injury was so bad that he decided to hang up his boots.
Transfer Window
As we go into the January Transfer Window, we're starting to lose players that I set in the pre-game editor to leave on the actual date they left Derby County in real life.
Although we are out of Administration and the Transfer Embargo has been lifted, I won't be making any signings in January as Wayne Rooney was unable to sign any players in real-life.
Wish me luck... I'm going to need it!
Good Luck Stuniverse
Is it just your form that is faltering? I've found that dynamics is key to turning around bad form. even if that means changing some training sessions to either of the extra curricular activities. Obviously that is at the detriment to your players attributes but you can claw that back easier than poor form.

Midway point of the season - not planning on any transfers in the Jan transfer window.
League is going well, No defeats with both draws away at Ciy and Chelsea
Away draw against City was a bit of a humdinger
Fernandes has done well as the attacking central midfielder, Kane less so. TBF he has been playing out on the left wing as an inside forward in the main.
both in the top 50 players in the world
Scarlett is still the main main up front and has 15 goals for the season so far and recently made his England debut. Scored his first goal for England in the following match
Couple of records broken as well
Funny i knew Forest was a derby but didnt realise Leeds were also historic rivals until i started this save. Have drawn them in the FA Cup 3rd round too (easy peasy )
Topped the Champions League group with 5 wins and a draw away in the dead rubber at Porto. Lyon await in the 1st knockout round.
The reserves have made it through to the Carabao Cup semi's where we play Norwich, Fulham or Man Utd are in the other semi.

Well, I wasn't planning on any major transfers as the team is settling in nicely but when certain players become available you have to take the chance and grab them to take you to the next level
Firstly players out, all the sales were mainly squad/fringe players last year
Cucurella could have been the first choice left back but he only played 7 times last season due to some injuries at inopportune moments and he got grumpy i turned down PSG's £7m initial offer on deadline day.
On to transfers in and two stand out names appear, both Fernandes and Kane were transfer-listed at 32 & 33 years of age, both brought in to provide that elite level player to boost this good group of youngsters. Still good enough to be at the top level and provide good mentoring for the younger players.
Henderson brought in to help as backup for Pascual as he is English and better than Johnstone
The rest are exciting prospects with Javier being fairly expensive arriving from Real Madrid. He is not a full international yet but i felt he had good attributes for an 18 year old and the scouts advised me to buy at any price.
Piccione arrived without gaining a work permit but has broken into the Italian u21 side, Midtjylland offer league and Europa League experience.
16 year old Wagstaff, who i picked up for £1m last season is performing beyond expectation. scoring 68 goals in the u18's taking him to the under-20 world cup
First piece of silverware in the door this season, Fernandes was outstanding against his old club and Kane scoring on his debut
Solid start to the season with the top 3 teams yet to concede a goal, I have arguguably had the harder start to the season with Brentford, Man U and Newcastle up first.
Speaking of which, playing at the Alan Shearer Stadium has it benefits, as another Derby record is broken.
and finally the Champions League draw, tough but not insurmountable
plus no issues with player registrations, eligibility criterias met with no players having to be left out unlike last season.

2 decent prospects in the youth batch, so i can possibly fulfil the bringing youth through

End of season review May 2027
Well its taken 6 years but this team is developing nicely
Not sure i would attribute the sucess to the start of the season as we lost to Chelsea twice and Liverpool away and drew away at Arsenal and Utd in the first half of the season and never really faltered since then.
Cortez was a great signing but Patino was probably my favourite, with Cucurella probably the worst.
beat Barcelona 1-0 home and away with fine performances in both, Finally succumbing to eventual winners Arsenal on penalties in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League. Next year maybe
getting knocked out of the CL QF and FA Cup probably won us the league as we were pretty even with both Chelsea and Arsenal who both stuttered under the fixtures.
Didnt think it was our year in the Carabao after Utd equalized in the 90th and 122 min
Finances still look great with a small transfer debt and a wage budget less than half of the big clubs
(The Alan Shearer stadium based in Leicester built 4 years ago with no team ever playing there?)
Scarlett is still knocking in the goals. 41 in all competitions this season and has scored 91 goals in the last 3 years but has still not received an England call up.
Whereas Cortez has scored 35 goals in 30 international caps at the age of 19

update for the end of the Jan transfer window.
League is going well, the extra bodies and depth in the squad has allowed so good rotation so injuries and fatigue have been minimal (34 different players used so far!!)
Top 4 far ahead of everyone else, so we are pretty confident that Champions League Footbal will be back at Pride Park next season. Lost Home and Away to Chelsea and Away to Liverpool, draws Away to Arsenal and Man Utd so far.
Speaking of Pride Park the board have agreed to increase the capacity to 43k. selling out the stadium barring the odd Carabou 3rd tie.
Through to the final of the Carabou again beating Chelsea reserves 2-0 in the Quarters and Newcastle 2-0 in the Semi.
Finished second in the Champions League group behind AC Milan on 14 points without losing a game and a better goal difference. Didnt lose a game but drew 0-0 away at the San Siro and 1-1 at home, apparently away goals do count in head to head. Barcelona await in the 1st knockout round
Finances seem to be great as the he board gave us an extra £24m transfer kitty and a bit more in the wage budget but i only saw fit to bring in one more player and send him back out on loan to Ipswich til the end of the season.
Hes a wonderkid with 4.5* potential
Knight, Camara and O'Leary constantly in my ear about their playing time even though i gave opportunities to all of them so i got rid. Hughes has become club captain now even though my assman was recommending Scarlett at the age of 22 with a leadership of 12.
I also turned down this offer as i wanted to get Derby to the top, sometimes FM gets it right and sometimes it gets it pure wrong. I mean the average age of my 1st choice team is about 21 years old. The fact the academy players arent quite good enough to break through yet is not good enough.

Decided to pick this save up again from where i left off, after dabbling with other careers.
Looking at the previous seasons i had built a solid base, staving off relegation in the first season and winning promotion the following season as champions. I certainly follow similar traits with emphasis on young players a trend i end up doing with most of my FM saves.
Two cup wins in the Carabou & Europa League shows we have a good team who can excel in one off matches, but i seem to recall struggling against the bigger teams in the division. Following promotion as champions in the 2nd season a respectable 15th then 6th and 3rd place in the Premier League is an upward trend.
A transfer budget just shy of £28 million to prepare for a season in the Champions League didn’t bode well. With not much wiggle room in the wage budget either I would need to look at bargain transfer deals and offloading some players to be able to bring better ones in.
Due to the registration issues for the Champions League, a slight emphasis on players being trained in England also.
Looking at my already arranged transfers in, with the only English player being a 15 year old Wagstaff. With Castano coming in and going back on loan to River Plate, presuming he couldn’t get a work permit as he is only capped at u20 level for Argentina. Cortez is a fantastic player and will slot into the first team squad straight away. International debut at 16 and has scored 23 goals in 23 appearances for his country.
I had already arranged to sell Buchanan & Ballard as they were unhappy with playing time. Menino was also a prearranged transfer meeting a release clause.
The left side of the team needed strengthening hence the departure of an unhappy Bradaric and a frankly disappointing Lacava, although a combined £37m profit isn’t to be sneezed at. The arrivals of Cortez, Barnes, Ristanic, Barros, Cucurella and Popovic really beef up the left side now. Johnstone as back up following Iverson’s request to leave. Patino and Delap both transfer listed cheap and both English.
£112m spent with £125m received at the end of the summer transfer window, squad is deeper and hopefully with a bit more quality. Just waiting for the raft of unhappy players who don’t get registered for the Champions League.
Table wise opening victories against Brentford and Leicester followed by a close 2-1 defeat away to Champ😊 Have conceded 23 goals in the previous 6 games in the league)
Another cup win
No Easy group in the CL Group stage

Think i remember someone saying their embargo lifted a day or 2 before the end of the Jan window.
2 -
We were the better team prior to the sending off but Scarlett was having one of those days in front of goal. Should have scored a hat-trick in the first half alone. Went all out attack following the red card and was delighted to see him finally come through with a cooly taken penalty and an unstoppable near post header.

First major silverware for the Rams
Fully deserved against a strong Arsenal side, who beat us 3-0 in the league a few days prior.
Doing well in the league, hanging on to the coattails of the leading pack
One major transfer from the January window. brought in Rodrygo from Bayern Munich for £16m, not bad business from them as they had signed him on a free from Real Madrid 6 months earlier. need someone to tie down the attacking left side as Lacava's form has been poor all season and Gray has been injured for a big chunk of it.
City up next in the FA Cup
