  1. I think I've worked it out. On the players main profile there is a shirt or a shirt and number. The grey space is only visible when you click on the smaller pop up attributes, so as you said earlier if they've got a shirt in the box that has to stay.
  2. I I have some profiles that don't have shirts or shirt numbers, just a grey box. I take it that I cant put a photo in those ones either? I've done all of my Staff that had the silhouettes so really happy with that. Makes the game more personnel! Again thanks for all the help, and apologies for all the questions.
  3. Thanks for the reply. So basically only the blacked out heads out heads I can change. OK cool.
  4. That looks great, and exactly what I want to be able to do. But can only change the profiles with the blacked out heads, which isn't very many
  5. Absolutely brilliant, and thank you for all The Managers doing the hard work to make this happen. Much appreciated. One thing, I don't seem to be able to add a photo unless there is the "black head silhouette" icon on the players profile page. The profiles that are blank or contain a shirt and squad number don't seem to work. I have tried different skins, and even the default FM23 wont add the photo. Only the profiles with the "black head silhouette" even though they still have ID numbers. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Many thanks.
  6. Its more than one match. Ive watched them in 5 full games. so why would I need to send a Scout. Actually, their attributes have revealed, and I've signed them, so not really an issue, but still seems a bit daft to me.
  7. I have 3 players currently on a months trial at the club. I'm.playing them in the first team for the pre season friendlies. I have full match on, but the game still states that scouting is required. That seems daft to me, as I'm doing my own scouting as such by watching them play 🤔
  8. Hi, Had an issue with a Star player wanting to leave at the end of his contract (12 months time) and as I'm managing a cash strapped team in the Vanarama League, I put him on the transfer list so as least I could raise some funds from the sale. This caused uproar with him, and I now realise that I maybe should have waited another 6 months before doing this? To make matters worse I didn't realise that he had a one year extension on his contract which I've now enforced so I will have to work hard at being really nice to him again LOL. So this got me thinking, what is the difference between a straight 3 year contract, and a 2 year contract with a 1 year extension clause? They sort of seem the same to me. I'm probably missing something obvious, but cant get my head around it. Could it be that one is easier to negotiate than the other? I'm pretty sure that my Bosses have stipulated new signings to be a minimum of 3 years for young players, so if I get one with a 2 year plus 1 year extension, is that the same? Cheers
  9. I bought Fm22 last year, which was my first venture back into the game since CM93 Im just about to complete my 2nd season in the Premiership with Norwich and looks like I've kept them from being relegated, so I'm quite pleased with that. I always watch the full match, and with other commitments, I generally only play 2 to 3 matches a week, so I am learning the game very slowly. On the whole I have been enjoying the game, and hopefully learning from the many mistakes I have made. I have already ordered FM23, and I'm looking forward to the new features and improvements to the ME. My plan is to retire from Norwich, and try my luck with a Vanarma league team.
  10. Thanks for your help and information Guys. Much appreciated. I will have a play around with it when I'm back with my laptop. On reflection, I think I've just be obsessing over the "stars". I really need to run my save with the new laptop, to get a feel for how it's all going. Thanks again 👍🏻
  11. Thanks JAwtunes. So shouldn't I be able to load plenty of leagues?
  12. Thanks for the replies. I just read that 3 stars and above gave the best game experience. Interesting point about a gaming laptop, and the type of game FM2022 is. My HP Notepad doesnt have a Graphics Card just the integrated one, and FM2022 looks fine. I have a powerful PC that I use for MSFS, ETS2 and RF2 all set to Ultra. Wonder if I downloaded FM2022 on that I could max out the leagues/database? Anyway, below is the spec on the new Laptop Razer Blade 15 Advanced - 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptop with 165Hz QHD Display (Intel Core i7-11800H, NVIDIA RTX 3070, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD Processor Brand ‎Intel Processor Type ‎Core i7 Processor Speed ‎4.6 GHz Processor Count ‎8 RAM Size ‎16 GB Memory Technology ‎DDR4 Computer Memory Type ‎DDR DRAM Maximum Memory Supported ‎16 GB Memory Clock Speed ‎3200 MHz Hard Disk Description ‎SSD Graphics Chipset Brand ‎Intel Graphics Card Description ‎RTX 3070 Graphics RAM Type ‎VRAM Graphics Card Interface ‎Integrated
  13. Good Evening Managers, I've just updated my Laptop to a vastly improved spec from my little HP Notebook. I downloaded the game via Steam onto my new laptop, and copied across my saved games, tactics, skins, schedules, etc from the old notebook. All working as expected, but I was a little surprised to find that when I tried to add a couple more European leagues, the CPU speed was quickly back at 3 stars, which I've always taken to be the minimum, otherwise loading times are just too slow. The new Laptop is a Razor Blade 15 Advanced, which I thought would allow me to increase my database quite a bit, but I've no chance of including South America and the like even as "view only". Do I need to start a complete new save to take advantage of my new Laptop, or something else I need to do? Any help greatly appreciated!
