  1. To answer your title question, yes you’re able to do that. Though, if you’re involving USL League Two in that system, that may be a little tougher to implement pro/rel with how it is set up. Adding teams to the leagues is also possible.
  2. Thanks for the clarification. I do remember you mentioning that before. Also, I didn’t know that some of the divisions weren’t assigned any newgens, so I’ll keep that in mind as well. I’m not sure if that’s changed, but I may have used some of those divisions for my Ultimate USA NCAA structure.
  3. No, that error still was taking place. Though, I really haven’t done much testing with that yet as I was focused on the realistic DB. And yes, pretty much all of what @Dallan stated is true for me as well. I’m more so inheriting the structure rather than creating it myself. Eventually, I’d like to go back through and see what improvements I could make, but I don’t have much time. I’m also not as experienced, so that’s a factor as well. For my UUSA database in FM23, I did try to use a different structure for the NCAA, but the newgens didn’t generate like they do in the realistic DB. So, I also have to figure out how I can do that.
  4. Doing that seemed to take away the error. So annoying it was that simple, and I thought it was something else. Overthinking at it’s finest. Now, I’m getting an MLS error, but I’m pretty sure I know what’s causing it.
  5. I also tried U23s and just now removed the "team type" entry. Both still resulted in error. I'm going to take a break from testing for now. Seems like I'm getting nowhere. Very frustrating as I wanted to get this done, so I could actually play.
  6. Nope, still the same error. Not that I’m aware of. They do have a min (17) and max age (23) and the contracts are set to amateur for the players, but that’s about it.
  7. I just tried that, and it didn't work. Actually, I think that was one of the first things I tried last night when I first noticed the issue. About 10 minutes ago, I tried to create a test league and added 13 teams to it. One of those teams was a recently created club, and another was a preexisting team (after you asked if it is only created teams). Neither of them seemed to show up either, and it still gave me the "No Teams Found" error. So, the problem seems to be beyond the USSL D2 division.
  8. Yes, the National Independent Soccer Association is a separate league, and none of the teams are remotely involved in NCAA Division 1 or listed as being a part of that competition. For the NCAA, there are USSL D2 subdivisions with teams listed that have the NCAA as a parent competition (as the NCAA utilizes the United States Soccer Leagues Division Two competition). Though, they are not actually a part of the structure. I just did a test to remove these affiliations and teams, but that didn't do anything as well. Going beyond that, if I remove the NCAA division as a whole from the rule set, the error turns to MLS where it can't find the rules for 29 teams (which I do know the cause of that error). Additionally, as I have my Ultimate USA fictional database, I have now tested that as well. The UUSA database also utilizes the USSL D2 competition, but the structure is different from the realistic database. After testing, I am also receiving an error where the conference I used is unable to find the teams (keep in mind the error is different as I have the rules structured differently. I don't use qualified teams in this one): I am starting to believe that there may be an issue with the United States Soccer League Division Two and it's respective USSL D2 subdivisions.
  9. The error mentioned above is for when I try to test all divisions. I am now getting another error when I click on an individual division to test: I'm not sure if they're correlated.
  10. Correct. All teams divisions are set to NCAA Division I and their secondary divisions are set to their respective conferences they play in.
  11. I am trying to convert my realistic USA database into the FM24 editor. When I ran my initial tests, I ran across this error where it doesn't seem to be recognizing my NCAA teams: I understand that when converting files from one game to successor, there are going to be some conflicts that I have to resolve. However, this is confusing and frustrating me as I have the qualified teams already set (see picture below). I tried to look on the forums here for answers, but none of the existing threads seemed to apply to my situation. Does anyone know what could be causing this? If needed, I can send my file over via a private message. Though, I don't expect anyone to look through every part of the file, which is why I'm hoping to get some guidance on what to look for if possible.
  12. Other players have discovered this as well in this post. It seems to be bugged.
  13. It'd be nice if they implemented better youth intake for the USA, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Though, being able to set the date is pretty nice.
  14. I'm also wondering the same thing. I'm going to assume they haven't added it yet as I haven't been able to find it.
  15. Alright, the continental competitions are already becoming a pain to work with. I'm having trouble verifying my rules when converting from basic rules to advanced rules. I'm trying to replicate the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup with 10 total teams. 9 of those teams are from certain nations. The other 1 team is the winner of the CONCACAF Caribbean Shield, which I also have created. The file verifies just fine in Basic Rules but not in Advanced Rules. When I try to test the file, I get this error: It seems to not be recognizing the winner of the Caribbean Shield as one of the teams. I tried to set the fate action of the Caribbean Shield final, so the winner qualifies for the Caribbean Cup, but that didn't work. I'm not sure what to do from here. Also, is there any way to set the nations you can choose from in the advanced rules? I find it weird that you set the nations you can choose from in the basic rules, then there's no where to see them in the advanced rules. Unless I'm missing something. If anyone could help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. If not, I'll just have to change my plans. Thanks.
  16. Hi. I'm wanting to set up continental competitions for my pro/rel database. Though, I'm having trouble on knowing where to start. For instance, I'm not sure what file to create them on. Could I use a completely new file to create them, or do I need to use my file with all of my database changes in it? That may be a dumb question, but I'm really not sure. Also, if anyone has any tips on creating continental competitions or knows of a decent guide, let me know. Thanks in advance!
  17. Alright, I’ll try that and see if it works. Thanks for your help! EDIT: Tried this, but it didn't seem to work for me. No big deal, though, as it's just a minor thing.
  18. I was doing some tests with my USA database when I noticed an issue with my Past Winners tab*. Although I know what is occurring with this issue, I am unsure of how to fix it. It is taking the top 3 teams from my stage 0 (regular season) and stating those are the winner, runner-up, and third place teams. That may not seem like an issue; however, that is not the way that my leagues are set up, so I need help adjusting this. Let me explain how I have mine set up and what I am expecting the Past Winners tab to show: Three of my leagues each have two promotion slots. One of those slots is for the champion (the club with the most points) in stage 0 (the regular season). The other slot is determined by a promotion playoff, which is stage 1 (to clarify, this playoff is not between the three leagues. Each league has their own playoff). What I want the Past Winners tab to show is the Winner = champion, the Runner-Up = club that won the promotion playoff Final, and Third Place = club that lost the promotion playoff Final. I just don't know how to get it to combine the Stage 0 and Stage 1 results. To give additional information, I have not messed with the Ranking Levels as I wasn't sure if it was necessary. If it is, please let me know. I can also send my file via message if it's easier for someone to take a look at it. Thanks in advance! *Pictures attached to post for reference.
  19. Okay, I’ll take a look at that. I must’ve missed it. Thank you for your help!
  20. I’m pretty sure I gave him a nationality, but I’m not sure if I did the second part or not. His nationality was USA, so I figured he would’ve just loaded in with all the other people. Is there an extra step that I’m missing? Also, I can’t remember what size database I tested it on, so that could be part of the issue as well.
  21. I've recently made an attempt to create new staff for my USA database, but I haven't got that far yet. I'm having an issue with the staff member I created not showing up in the game after I load my database. What I've done is created a staff member named Generic Head Coach #1 (I plan to duplicate and make modifications to him). Most of the details are set to unknown (such as hair color, birthday, etc) and attributes at 0 (I'm assuming that randomizes it, right?). When I load up the game, I try to search for him, and I can't find him within the database. I also tried to test this out by setting the details and attributes to resemble a realistic, in-game coach, but he didn't show up either. Just clarify, I did not put my staff member on a team or anything. I was hoping that he would just be an unemployed coach that teams could hire, so it could be a little more random. I'm sure if I put him on a team, he would show up, but that kind of ruins my plan a bit. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong besides not putting him on a team. I'd greatly appreciate any advice/tips that you can give me to help me solve this problem. Thanks.
  22. I've been working on the advanced rules portion of my fictional USA database for the past two months, and everything had been going smoothly, but I've now hit a roadblock. I seem to be getting to the point where either I'm being restricted by the limitations of the editor, or I just haven't done everything correctly yet. I'd appreciate if anyone could give me guidance/tips as I have questions about a couple different areas. 1. I've noticed that many of my lower league teams (ones in the Patriot League, Freedom League, and NCAA) are not hiring head coaches or a coaching staff. There are above 600 teams in the three leagues I've mentioned, so could it be the case that I need to create more staff members in the editor? Or could there be another underlying issue? 2. Is there any way to generate some sort of youth intake for my NCAA teams? All I have is greyed out players in each of my teams. I know that in other databases that have the NCAA, they used the lower league D2 competitions that are hardcoded to get new players every year. Though, my concern with that is I have way more competitions than what is given, so I would only be able to populate a portion of the teams. Does anyone have any tips on how to solve this, so I get a flow of players every year?
  23. Following. I also am wondering how I can generate newgens, specifically in my NCAA leagues. I've taken a look at both Gum's and Palk's USA files and I can't figure out what either one of them did to generate them. Right now, I am showing greyed out players, which is a start, but I want them to be actual newgens. I did notice that for both files, the NCAA competition level is higher than what I have in my database, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
  24. It definitely is as I have done it. You just have to remove all database changes except for all the NCAA teams and conferences. Then, you can merge the files together using the editor. He’d still have to set up all the rules as they don’t transfer, but that’s about it.
  25. Unfortunately, I can’t due to lack of time. I’m a full time college student with a part time job, so I don’t have much free time anymore. I can’t give you step-by-step instructions either as I don’t remember them without looking. I would recommend trying to watch YouTube videos on how to create leagues to get you started.
