  1. Friendly matches for club teams don't seem to have press conferences attached. That makes sense. However, international teams play rarely, and there is always a lot of media interest around their matches (it seems to me that international management is very substantially about managing the media - even more than club management). They should have press conferences before and after all their matches, not just their competitive ones. As well as the usual press conference topics, these press conferences should always have a focus on who has and has not been called up by the national team. I've seen others suggest that international team dynamics should be introduced (which I fully agree with) and having more questions in that vein would encourage dynamics to form.
  2. As I understand it, boards will always refuse to build a new stadium if your existing one is less than 25 years old. However, the game does not tell you this. If the board is actually refusing for that reason, it should say “After consideration, the board have rejected your request. The reason is that our existing stadium is only x years old, so we do not want to build a new one.” This would at least provide some legibility to the situation, so you are not clicking the button fruitlessly for years on end and being denied for no obvious reason.
  3. I personally worry about asking the board to buy or build a new stadium (or upgrade training facilities), because I have no idea if they say yes whether it will bankrupt the club. I would think that in a real-life setting, you could float the possibility of building a new stadium to a board as a hypothetical, and they could give you a very approximate price based on their general knowledge (e.g. £70-£110m or whatever). You would then have at least a small amount of information to go on before clicking the button to request it, and potentially destroying your club. In practical terms, I would like the button saying “Buy Stadium”/ “Build new stadium” (and maybe “Upgrade Training Facilities” to say “Buy Stadium (estimated cost £70-£110m)” etc. No need for this to be the case for coaching courses etc. – just the really big ticket items. Having the option to request for the board to buy or build a new stadium is already mildly unrealistic, given that you're the manager rather than someone more senior. This would help with realism, as anyone going to a board meeting suggesting doing something as expensive as building a new stadium would in real life at least do a bit of initial cost scoping before proposing it.
  4. I started a save unemployed and took a job in Indonesia. However, on the Leagues in Focus tab, I was still being given news from the EPL, La Liga etc. I think it would be good if this changed depending on the confederation you were managing in. Yes you can customise it, but would be better if by default was the top 6 ranked leagues in your confederation that are loaded into your game. It took me a while to realise it was possible to customise this page! To be clear, I'm not suggesting that this page should be dynamic and reflect the league coefficients in the game as they shift over time – just that it should have different defaults at set-up. I'm not sure whether this happens automatically if you take a job from the start of the game, but I think it would be nice for it to happen when you take on a new job. A suggested set of leagues for each confederation: Asia: Chinese Super League Korean K1 Australian A-League Indian NFL Indonesian League 1 Malaysian Super League South America: Brazil top division Argentina top division Colombia top division Uruguay top division Chile top division Peru top division Africa: Admittedly unclear, as only South Africa is in the game. Could at least have South African Premier Soccer League and South African National First Division, then could have the other four be EPL, La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga or whatever. North America: Mexican First Division MLS Canadian Premier League Mexican Expansion League [2 others – could just default to EPL and La Liga]
  5. When a player has played badly in a match, in the post-match press conferences you will often be asked why you did not substitute them. It would be nice if one of the options to answer this were something to the effect that "I wouldn't single them out - quite a few of the team played badly today. I didn't have enough substitutions to take them all off." (This dialogue option should come up only if you actually used all your substitutions in a match).
  6. In the In-Game Editor, you can add nationalities. However, you can't set the player's declared nationality. Since you can't remove nationalities (presumably because a player with no nationality at all would cause a bug), it is impossible to force a player to play for a specific national team. For example, I would like to set Jordi Amat to play for Indonesia, as he is planned to do in real life. However, the closest I can get is to give him Indonesian second nationality. He can (and does) then still reject Indonesia in favour of Spain, his other nationality. Please can we get an option to set a Declared nation?
  7. These aren't really bugs so much as errors in how the competitions in Indonesia work, so feel free to move this post if it's in the wrong forum. League Two: First, as mentioned on a previous thread in this subforum, League Two's structure for the season just gone is wrong. In the 2021 season there were 4 groups of 6 teams, not 2 groups of 12, in the first phase. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021%E2%80%9322_Liga_2_(Indonesia)) The second and final phases were correct though. However, it looks like for the 2022 season, League Two will return to something more like what is in the game – that is, 2 groups in the first phase. https://liga2-skor-id.translate.goog/pssi-pastikan-format-liga-2-musim-baru-beda-dengan-edisi-2021-01420897?_x_tr_sl=id&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp I'm not sure what you guys want to do about all this, but I think it's definitely worth flagging. Second, on the Rules page for the Final of League Two, it does not say that the winning team will be promoted to League One – it only says that the losing team will be, which is misleading, as they are both promoted. The code for the league works – the winning team is promoted too – but the Rules page should make that clear. Other competitions: The Indonesian Community Shield (known in the game as the Indonesian Super Cup) takes place between the winners of League One and the winners of the domestic Cup in game. The competition doesn't seem to have been held since 2013 (including this year). Is it still in operation? It looks to me like it isn't. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesian_Community_Shield. Perhaps it should be removed? Equally, the Indonesian President's Cup doesn't seem to be in the game, even though it is taking place this year: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Indonesia_President%27s_Cup. This may not have been foreseeable when the game was being developed last year (COVID clearly affected Indonesian football a lot), but it should be added now.
  8. One of the reasons to maintain a good youth system is to enable you to meet competition requirements, but you cannot make this case to the board in-game. When going to the board to request upgrades to youth recruitment, coaching, and facilities, sometimes the board will refuse. If you are in a competition that requires a certain number of home-grown players (e.g. the Champions League/Europa League/Conference League), when you go back to the board to argue your case, one of the options to discuss the issue further with the board should be “we need good players coming through our youth system to help with our squad registration requirements”. The AI would then look at the number of Home Grown Club (HGC) players in your first team squad. If the number of players is very low relative to competition requirements (e.g. below the 4 you need for European competitions), they would be more likely to accept your request. Clubs have struggled with getting enough HGC players into their squads in real life (e.g. here discussing Man CIty and Tottenham): https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/12052427/do-premier-league-clubs-need-to-sign-homegrown-players and bringing through academy players will presumably be the main longer-term solution.
