When you set yourself for vacation mode, there should be an option that cancels/pauses it in case you are approached by a player that wants to talk to you. They always choose the best timing to ask for these pesky little things and then your locker room mood goes in the bin because one random guy wanted to discuss a new contract while one is just trying to speed through international break.
So perhaps the vacation screen would automatically exit when "x wants to talk to you about improved contract negotiations" or "leaving the club"
