  1. Yes he was, that explains it, but good to know that i have to pay attention to who is suggested to welcome the player. Hopefully i can pick another player. on a side note i tried using in game editor to up it to 16 again and it drops down within days.
  2. Has anyone had a player determination go down considerably over 1 month? Had a guy go from 16>11 in a month.

  4. Well seems like after buying every version of the game since cm 93/94, i will skip the 2nd version in 4 years. there are so many things that annoyed me in 22.
  5. Wait so liverpool have finished in 2nd place 3 out of the last 5 seasons, won it 1 time. Gotten to 3 cl finals in that time, won 1 are overrated because of 1 bad season? Mo salah has lead the premier league in goals for 3 out of last 5 seasons and never finished below 5th and is 15th highest goalscorer in premier league history but is overrated? and because you beat liverpool and psg in a video game they are overrated? And lastly how are si gonna predict the outcome of a season that havent been played? Do you want them to push out monthly updates to down/upgrade players? if i recall correctly actual teams use the database from SI.

Because the team either had someone with their number as preffered or bought someone with it. so the next season the ai goes and gives the #10 to the player who has it as preferred and if 2 or more have it, the number goes by alphabetical order. Then f.i Kane gets the next free number i.e for the WC if aguero and messi were in argentina squad, aguero got nr 10.
  7. You can edit current ability and potential ability in it. You can edit almost everything except for birthdays and such.
  8. Well its always going to be arguments for either setup. I just mentioned that i could run bigger setup, since there were poster saying that they would do it if they had the computer for it.

France had 14 players under 25 in their squad, 4 over 30 years(5 if benzema is included) 3 of those are 35 and older. england has 10 under 25, 5 over 30(oldest 32) Brazil has 12 under 25, 9 over 30(oldest 39) Portugal 11 under 25, 5 over 30(oldest 39) Spain 12 under 25, 7 over 30. So i would say that the squads are balanced versus ingame. i havent played fm23 but in 22 i took over france and won the 2030 wc. And i noticed in that game that the standard of the new gens was lacking so much that i picked only 1 new gen to the squad. i loaded the game, its in 2032 and quickly looked at spain, france and england. england had 3 new gens in their squad. france had 2. spain had 4. also im not really using my computer that much atm so i could buy the game. Setup a game and sim it into the future. question is how many leagues would be optimal to get the “best results”? i have not had any problem playing a save with: 45 nations loaded, big 5 leagues have 3 leagues loaded and most of the others have atleast 2. Player count is ~203000 in my 2032 save.
  10. Decimal points exist, and you could see it on player development screen but it was removed in fm20.
  11. no it is absolutly 1-20. Go into the editor, pick a random player, go to player data, pick any one of technical, mental or physical, i.e Fati has anticipation of 14, type in 140, see what happens. It changes his anticipation to 20.
  12. No they are 1-20. In your example it would be 14.8 or 15.2, the game rounds i.e 14.6 up to 15.0.
  13. No they dont write the match engine from scratch every year. They will never give access to the source code. Then f.i Ea could take a look and copy/modify it and release fifa manager.
  14. Looking at the graph for gpu load and power draw he most likely alt tabbed out of the game to get the ss, so the gpu core has gone down to 975mhz, it wouldnt just stay at 975mhz when the load goes up.
  15. Thing is in real life you can work on stuff like your center backs watching the ball go over their head game after game or gk just running out of goal, just stop and letting the attacker score. This happens no matter what level of player you have… And also this is a thread named: *Official* Football Manager 2023 Early Access Beta Feedback Thread. Not feedback thread of telling people what to be passionate about or what to do with their time.
  16. I was watching work the space last night and seeing gks just rush out of goal then just stoping, letting the attacker through on goal multible times isnt micro analysing tiny aspects. Or if you go and watch dr benjy’s vod from today starting from 2:41:30, nothing happening in that 30 minutes of ingame time is tiny aspect of the game. i paid 15$ for csgo 10 years ago that is great value for money but buying fm22.5 isnt great value for money.

  18. I remember when the sliders were removed that they werent realistic because why would a manager tell the team to play +3 notches from normal mentality. Now we have players wanting to play as advanced playmaker on attack, no matter how well they have been playing on support for a long time, and their favorite position and role seems to be randomized, because i had a player wanting to play 1 role when i signed him, then after a year i offered him a new contract to fend off teams interested in him, he wanted to play another role and postition. i liked the freedom of the sliders insteed off the roles we have now.
  19. This looks a little better after the update but am i the only one who thinks they are unreasonbly high in crossing, corners and penalties vs other technicals?
