  1. For some reason, loading this file prevents registration for European competition. What could be the issue?
  2. PSG, Barcelona, and Madrid it seems. To check, opened clubs and sorted by Reputation. You'll then see which teams don't have associated league competitions on the right hand side of the search results window. Great work, regardless! Big fan of the mod. Legend.
  3. Found a weird bug - it seems that this DB is causing PSG to not be affiliated with a competition (so they're not in Ligue 1) at the start of the game. This is confirmed upon checking the DB in the editor. Oddly, they're replaced by Saint-Etienne which is in Ligue 2 according to the DB. Additionally, I noticed that Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United have changes made to them in the DB, but only in changing their division to the Premier League. Quick enough fix - just add PSG back into Ligue 1. Just odd that it's happened.
  4. Is it possible to use FM23 skin for FM24? Or what changes would I need to make to get it to work?
  5. Hi, I named the Soviet Union DB Jugo while the Visegrad DB as V4. I was referring to the screen where you're selecting DBs to load. I can't select both.
  6. Hi - I'm using a DB that makes Russia playable by moving everything about it to the Soviet Union (ID: 583). I then have a different DB with a custom Visegrad nation which I put in the regular Russian ID (ID: 791) In theory - I should be able to use both DBs, right? However, I can't proceed past save creation because "Only one file for Russia can be selected." Oddly enough, the Visegrad DB doesn't show the change in name to Visegrad in the database selection screen. Everything is verified, and loads up properly. Just can't get load the two databases together. Please help! Thank you!
  7. Currently working on a DB that puts several academy teams all around Africa in a pyramid system based in Seychelles. However, I noticed during testing that, while there are many newgens with high PA, they aren't picked up enough by major teams in bigger leagues. In a 10-year test, only a handful have been bought. How do I encourage this to happen through the editor? Other notes: I also want to prevent the clubs from buying players, but still have the ability to sell them. Right now my solution is just a really long transfer embargo. Is this the way to go or are there ways to enforce this through advanced rules editing? The clubs are from outside the competition nation (Seychelles). So their nation is set to be the competition's, but the base nation and continental qualifying nation is set to default. I want the clubs in the league to be able to only hire staff from their base nation - is this possible? I saw that under Competition Rules in Transfer Rules you can add 'cannot sign foreign staff', but in my testing it's a mixed bag wherein they all sign staff and coaches from the competition nation and base nation alike so it seems to have no effect? Lastly, is there a way to force teams to sell/release players once they reach a certain age? If anyone wants to help, I can send you the file. I need a lot of help especially with registration rules, as it's a bit too confusing for me. Thank you!
  8. Hi - I'm trying to make a new league to incorporate into the real world, but I'm trying to figure out how to generate newgens for just this league at the start of the game. I figured this was possible as I'm using Gum's USA mod, and the NCAA teams have newgens right away upon game start. I tried reverse engineering this but I just couldn't figure out the option in advanced rules, database edits, or if this is even possible. Would anyone know how to go about this? While I'm here asking questions, there are a few others I'm trying to figure out: The league I'm making has clubs from outside the competition nation. So their nation is set to be the competition's, but the base nation and continental qualifying nation is set to default. I want the clubs in the league to be able to only hire staff from their base nation - is this possible? I saw that under Competition Rules in Transfer Rules you can add cannot sign foreign staff, but in my testing it's a mixed bag wherein they all sign staff and coaches from the competition nation and base nation alike so it seems to have no effect? I also want to prevent the clubs from buying players, but still have the ability to sell them. Right now my solution is just a really long transfer embargo. Is this the way to go or are there ways to enforce this through advanced rules editing? The idea behind the league is a super developmental (excuse the oxymoron) league, but I noticed there aren't any major clubs in Europe or elsewhere picking these players up. How do I encourage this? I went to the host Nation and updated the Continent Transfer Preference rating to 10 for all continents but I can't seem to notice a difference. Should I bump up the league's reputation? Lastly, is there a way to force teams to sell/release players once they reach a certain age? I'd appreciate any help! I've played around with the editor for a bit, but this is the first time I've considered sharing the file. For transparency's sake, I didn't start this file all by myself. I had some help but will definitely give full credit if/when I do figure this out and choose to release it or probably just hand it off to him to release it himself. For now, I'm editing it for personal use. Cheers!
  9. Big fan of the pack Daveincid! Wanted to ask, is there a way to enable Serie D for the Italian League Rule fix file?
  10. I like the idea behind Against Modern Football. Is it possible to make an off-shoot tournament where the best teams from lower coefficient nations play against the teams in the second division of the top 10 or so nations so that teams in the EFL Championship, La Liga 2, 2.Bundesliga, etc can play as well?
  11. Was the fix simply removing the second Add History stage action (for NCAA D1, while keeping the NCAA College Cup) from Stage 17? Or were there other changes made? Asking since I made my own edits to the save moving some US clubs around into the different leagues (like reactivating Chivas USA and moving them to the MLS instead of San Diego Loyal which stayed in the USL Championship + swapping the new USLC clubs with those from NISA and USL1 because they didn't have picture packs). Bit of a pain to have to do that again, so I was hoping to do make the edits to my own DB. Thank you!
  12. Came across this interesting Yugoslavia DB online: https://www.fmscout.com/a-yugoslavian-league-fm23.html It says it's for FM23 on FM Scout, but downloading it and loading it up shows that it's for FM22. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in taking a crack at porting it to FM23? Saw some people comment on FM Scout and Steam about it, but the creator seems to be unresponsive. Been trying to fix it myself but I'm really out of my depth. For example, I'm getting this error when verifying: This is despite there being 20 teams each according to the DB, and the Get All Teams from Division option selected in advanced rules.
  13. OH - I meant this: Is the reason why there are double entries because one shows for D1 and the other for College Cup? Interesting.
  14. Awesome! Looking forward to this, wanted to bump up my curiosity on the Superdraft - how does the game determine who's eligible to be drafted?
