    So is weight. We also have a brand new graphics engine. If that graphic engine cannot show us the difference from one extreme to another then it’s quite worrying. Will it show us the difference between Brian Brobbey and Alexander Isak? It should do. Weight and player types are important.

    What do you mean why? It’s a football manager simulation…about managing individuals. Not having key aspects about those individuals doesn’t make any sense

    Turn it off in the women’s game world then. Removing it makes no sense. Just like I wouldn’t sign a centre back that is 5’7, I wouldn’t sign one that weights 60kg either - and yes, they do exist in the game! I know not everyone will pay attention to that, but it really affects the immersion for me (and I like to see it regardless of whether it’s good or bad reasons) Now it’ll all exist in the background where I won’t have any judgement over it

    It’s important for immersion. Wouldn’t surprise me if height is removed next year now…

    They have used the 5% figure to justify removing it though. That’s a worrying road to go down with features.

    The one thing that can possibly save FM25 is the graphics…but we are yet to see any of it yet

    So they’ve released another update of things they have removed. Removing international football from the game…wow removing player weights from the game… Genuinely disappointed so far

    I think that’s probably the case. If they can’t show us anything from a brand new game, on a brand new engine then it’s a bit worrying. Find it hard to believe they would deliberately choose to hold information about the revolutionary new game so late if they was happy with the state of it.

    Possibility there isn’t much worth showing, which would be a massive shame for a brand new game, on a brand new engine or that they are *happy* about showing rather.

    Fenerbahce? That huge Turkish team that play in the vibrant, beautiful city of Istanbul, with the possibility of Champions League football every year? With a massive fan base, a 50k seater stadium, one of the biggest derbies in Europe and strong financial backing? You couldn’t see how managing one of the big Istanbul teams is attractive to a manager that hasn’t managed at the elite level for 5 or so years?

    Because it is not happening IRL. So for those that value realism as a top priority, it breaks that. Last thing I would want to see is Emma Hayes taking the Real Madrid job in FM25

    I really hope this doesn’t mean we are going to see a huge influx of female managers taking manager jobs in the men’s game in FM25 Because it’s not (and it doesn’t) happen in real life. I hope they’ve coded for this accordingly.

    Are we really not going to hear anything more about this new, built from the ground up, game on a new engine…until September? Torture 😩

    Still can’t get over how much better FM13 match day looks compared to the one they are releasing this year. The screen feels alive. Even the really small details that add something to the game (and that I love to see personally) - Stadium, attendance, weather, kick off time. Gradually removed year on year…why?

    Why couldn’t they at least add some colours? It’s so plain. They got the Premier league license just to have managing in the Premier League look like this? What makes any of it unique? Hopefully this is very far from the final version.

    Looks really bland in my opinion. Was really looking forward to a lot more. Even the 2D looks just as bad…but it’s early days and hopefully we’ll see a lot more in depth stuff soon!

    Tomorrow or Friday is the day lads. Genuinely excited to see to see the jump the team at FM have made - Improved graphics and stadium customisation would take the game to a whole new level!

    Are we still going to have this 2D/3D debate? Isn’t it from FM own data that shows the vast, vast majority use 3D and only a small percentage use 2D?

    I doubt the licensing of the premier league is being counted as news/sneak peaks for the upcoming game. Has to be something gameplay related before the end of the month.

    When are we expecting the first bit of news for FM25 to drop? I’m sure I read somewhere, maybe even on these forums, that it’s Q1 this year?
