  1. Before starting, please move to right forum etc as there is a lot of detail in here and might not be ideal for console. I play FM on console and have no benchmark (have played PC years ago). Development Mentoring should still be applied to first team players that are moved to reserve team games and vice versa. Why do you have to reapply mentoring when changing squad status? Extend mentoring group size and remove 3 player cap. Should be effective for entire squad at all levels. Rolling captaincies that don't affect morale. I.E., certain squads would want their team leaders to share the responsibility throughout the season. Players not to react negatively if they are stripped of captaincy (and their allies). Add player trait for 'support rotating captaincy'. Players in squad not to have positive relationship with just one individual (team leader or influencer). See above - in real life it won't just be one player, it will be several. Game needs to capture this. Player networking. Maybe similar personality players will get on better than those that could have personality clashes. Also develop negative relationships in the squad. Players don't always get on and this potential headache should be thrown at the manager to sort out. Maybe a press conference when the media pick it up (or from a players' social media). Developed supporter interaction: AGM - board job voting Supporter fan forums - club issues including player performances, transfer policy, fan feedback development, fan engagement policies (E.G., new club logo/branding) Unpopular ownership/supporter clashes (prompts manager take from media - side with fans/board/neither) Unprecedented fan issues - away fans in home end (impact to players on pitch), supporter trouble pre/mid/post match, especially in continental tournaments - legal entanglements/club reputation reduction risk (team banned from future competitions/no supporters in ground etc). Rare, but does happen. Greater supporter involvement and influencing of club direction, management and future strategies. This could be the basis of another separate game - FM executive management. I can support with structure proposal if required. Many of the points in here could be used for that. FFP as mentioned by others. Look at Everton, needs to be implemented, has a real impact on clubs, supporters, managers, players. Government intervention with unpaid tax liabilities, or unpaid player or staff wages. Maybe explore winding up procedures, fans could help out financially if club poorly run/finances offshored by foreign owners. New club setups, with similar names, from original club in rare cases. See fans VS board conflict earlier. Stadium development options have always been good. Managers are not construction firms, so difficult to show how they can influence number of seats/terracing area for capacity increases. Shouldn't be a fixed amount for a club to extend, should depend upon current state of club's stadia. E.G., does a stand need to be demolished and rebuilt because it is not compliant with modern building regs, can a team replace its terracing with a smaller capacity, but more expensively priced, fully seated stand, can corners be filled in and remove a scoreboard or floodlight. Terracing reintroduced to fully seated stadia. So stadium detail needs to be mapped out somehow to unlock greater stadium improvement potential - each club will have an individual stadium improvement path and not a generic one (we added 10000 seats, in which stand?). The way you do that is to map out each stand detail with its constraints and opportunities. So stadium development becomes stand development. New stadium - maybe site proposal feedback to manager (but not their decision really, this is with the board and owners) and cost for each. Fans should be involved, it is their club. Ticket pricing model - impacts revenue. Corporate hospitality - how many rooms available, how many suites available, how to model demand throughout season. Non-matchday income from non-footballing events - variable/seasonal. Matchday income always random. People don't always buy from concourse. Could be linked to kickoff time and day - greater on a weekend VS a weeknight). Season ticket renewals started earlier than end of season. Could improve income before end of season. Show season ticket waiting list. Cup pricing scheme. Player actual ratings not reflective - mostly below the division where player currently participating. E.G., good vanarama national player, but say one/two divisions higher in reality. Opposition instructions automatically applied to all games, rather than having to apply each match. Or a tickbox to activate all. Add option for training penalties before crucial games - continental knockouts, domestic cup knockouts. Currently you can only train set pieces on the week of that game to prepare players in case penalties happen. For manager profile, develop a loyalty section (not to players, but in general). For example, sticking with the club, turning down media speculation linking with jobs elsewhere, improves it. Jumping at any jobs going, bringing in a player and then transfer listing them, decreases it. So you'd have a loyalty scale that could either go with a star system like the manager reputation, or add another graphic instead. Next step would be to add this to the players - then certain players could relate not only to a manager's reputation, but also loyalty, and the player would have their own loyalty rating that a manager could assess. Board interactions - be able to recommend own objectives. So far I have had my objectives set based upon the same owner from day one, which don't necessarily tie with my styles of play. As several are set each season, I just ignore a few and concentrate on those that are relevant. Also it seems impossible currently to recommend future season objectives, board will never consider these, 'too ambitious' etc. Tactics. Add a (right) click and hold on positions, to allow players to move into that position (indicated by dotted arrow line). This was in the previous games, always used to move wingers etc etc. Would be great to see this back in the game. Resolve issue with training options being open to first team squad only.
  2. I get this on first manual save, running on Xbox series S with mouse and keyboard. Try this as workaround: Press xbox button/windows key on kb Browse back to FM24 console (from list on left hand side) Re-open game Should dismiss save freeze I would resave again, either overwrite or new save.
