I have tried a bunch of tactics - 4 AND 5 at the back - and just can't seem to keep a clean sheet unless I stick ten men behind the ball. Anyone found a balanced fomation that at least keeps the odd clean sheet??
Just can't find any tactic for a upper/middle tier side that has any chance of a decent season.
Playing as Newcastle using FestiveSpirit2.1 tactic - only kept five clean sheets out of 19 games. Conceded 26 goals. I have tried a lot of different tactics and formations but either opposition plays a simple through ball and defenders stand and watch or they just give the attackers the ball for a clean run on goal.
Getting a bit frustrated
