I would recommend to make small tweaks against these teams. 1. If your midfield is getting overrun by the opposition, then reduce the trigger press or change the DLP to a BWM on Support duty to break up play. 2. If you are not creating enough chances, then increase the creativity by adding more attacking minded roles, wing backs not providing then add focus play through the middle, and change the duty of players to chase a goal. I use Positive mentality since with Inter we are the best team in the Serie A but there’s still competition like AC Milan, Juve, and Napoli. You can go Attacking mentality in the last 15-20 minutes of the match if you are looking to either win or equalize. Remember that if you want to be more attacking you need to increase the tempo by adding distribute quickly, slightly shorter passing, be more expressive and changing the player’s duty from support to attacking. Hello everyone, Today I got a tactic recreation of Xavi Hernandez's title-winning 4-3-3 from the 2022/2023 season. I decided to do this recreation to make it suitable for many top/sub-top teams in terms of the team instructions, however, I want the shape to be similar to what Xavi used last season to win the league. Make sure to sign players with good mental and technical attributes, as well as high professionalism for your players to mesh well and even get higher possession than this holiday simulation got. -The training schedules and rest I used throughout the season were FC Cadoni's Gegenpress schedules which you can download below. The rest I used was (NO PITCH OR GYM WORK - HALF - NORMAL - NORMAL - DOUBLE). Gegenpress - 1 Match.fmfGegenpress - 2 Matches.fmfGegenpress - No Matches.fmf -I simulated the season but what I did before clicking "Go on Holiday" was fill the first team coaching and medical staff which for me is very important for your young players to develop, but also prevent injuries in fixture congestion. -The buttons I clicked on the holiday tab were (Use Current Match Tactics) (Reject All Transfer Offers) and to the end of the season. -The set-piece routine I used was Blue Routines (Download): Blue routines.fmf My Goal: What I wanted in terms of what would see a successful recreation was to win the league obviously, but also the Supercup since they won it that same year. I wanted to make a tactical that works perfectly for Barcelona but also could work with top teams in your respective leagues. However, that does not mean that this will work with Gateshead since to have control of the match you need to be the better team. The Key Roles: (Lewandowski) - I wanted him to be involved in the attack in terms of creating chances for his teammates and supporting the wingers, but also I want him to finish his chances when the opportunity comes. So DLF - Attack was the best choice. (Frenkie De Jong) - I have always been a fan of him so I knew exactly how to use him, he has great passing attributes and also was perfect for the pivot to distribute the ball from the ball, so DLP - Defend was my conclusion. (Pedri & Gavi) Gavi has been more of a late runner in the box, meanwhile, Pedri was box-to-box to progress the ball up the field but also appear in the box to place shots to goal. Hello Everyone My name is CairozinhoFM and I have been playing Football Manager for about three to four years, mainly focused on the tactics side of the game. Before you read this thread, this is NOT a plug-and-play tactic so don't expect to succeed with your current team since this tactic was made to fit perfectly for the current 2023/2024 Tottenham squad. Let's begin! Ange Postecoglu is a manager that I have been eyeing in recreating their system due to being fun to watch them live, exploiting the half-spaces and double inverted wing-backs being involved in the final third even though they didn't qualify for the Champions League but still were in contention if it was not for Aston Villa's spectacular season finishing fourth in the table. Here is the main tactic squad with the player roles and duties, obviously the double IWBs were a must-have since that is what Ange is known for, however, I wanted a good rest defense and didn't want the wingbacks to go full-on attack but on the support duty they still give you that extra man in the final third of the opposition and making that 2-3-5 build-up formation to overload the middle and creating the triangles and you see it inside the match engine. Maddison had to be a Central Midfielder on attack duty since he is excellent as that creator in the midfield with high dribbling, vision, long shots, and passing. The 2 Wingers provide you with that width since the full-backs are making underlapping runs and we needed the players to stretch the field as possible making holes in the defense. Sonny was the main man up top since the departure of Harry Kane and the Advanced Forward was the obvious role since he could run in behind and score with the high pace, and acceleration. The 2 Ball-Playing Defenders are not the ideal for realism but they performed well in terms of playing out of the back, Romero and Van de Ven have great mental and technical attributes to fit in the role but Romero could be used for a Central Defender. Vicario was mainly the role I was struggling but came up with the Sweeper Keeper on Attack duty so he could be used to be the extra man in the build-up out of the goal kick.
