Milestone 5th year in the Championship. Starting to build up the bank, but no real progress. Never getting close to playoffs really. Youth facilities and youth recruitment are getting pretty good, but the players coming through aren't that great yet (if that will ever happen) Actually, I had one absolutely amazing intake two years ago, scored 21 goals and 5 assists in 30 games as a 16 year old in the Championship and then Liverpool stole him for $6 million. Hopefully a few more like him in the years to come and I can finally get out of the Championship funk.

Dulwich Hamlet - 2055/56 Okay, it took 2 seasons instead of 1, but we're going up to the Championship! Picked to finish 24th, 300-1 odds, we gained promotion through the playoffs after finishing 4th. I really think it's just the tactic I created a couple seasons ago with no central midfield. My players aren't this good, I have no other way to explain (almost) back to back promotions. My leading goal scorer plays as an Attacking Midfielder up top, and his stats are terrible but he still scored the most, albeit only 17. My top 3 goal scorers actually were all Attacking Midfielders. We're in big, big trouble next season in the Championship though. Our finances are terrible. My only hope is for a wealthy takeover. I couldn't even sign my 2 best youth intake players, they wanted more money that we had, so that was a big blow. They got poached by other teams, so I'm left with these guys. Mostly all positions I don't need the help right now, but with our poor finances, we'll take whatever player will sign with us! On to the Championship..

Guys....I think my new tactic I developed last season might've broke the game. Our first season in League Two we ended up winning the whole thing! 500-1 odds at the start of the season but we managed the best goal difference and won by 6 points. I'm shocked. Think we can repeat that in League One next season? Not a great youth intake this year, but we'll see if it even matters with this tactic. 99% of my players are signed through 2055, so I have one more season with this core group at least. Dare to dream! Good way to end my 30th season with the club

The year is 2053...After 12 years in the National League, we're finally going up to League 2! I finally realized my midfielders were terrible and came up with a tactic that totally ignores them. Worked! We were predicted to finish 22nd, so not a bad season. Decent intake this year...potential to be a golden generation (lol) - will it be enough to not get automatically relegated next season though? Fingers crossed.

2051 and I'm still stuck in the National League. Been here for 10 years now, never really getting close to playoffs even. No real great youth this year, so next year isn't looking much better. I don't quite know what to do to get out of this rut. Board won't spend money on youth recruitment because we're broke. But we can't earn more money unless we move up. But we can't do that unless we have better players to compete! We've been under takeover rumors for the past 3 seasons, so I think my only hope is to keep plodding along in the National League until a takeover actually happens and, cross my fingers, the new owners agree to spend some money on youth.

Unfortunately I did. Dulwich Hamlet. Got promoted to the National League, then relegated back down and the board went semi-pro. We've been back up in the National League for 5 years in a row now, and even won the FA trophy last season, but the board still refuses to go professional again. It's awful, all my best youth intake players get poached right away or certainly after 1 year.

Is Netherlands still not playable in fm24 for this challenge?

Not looking for downloads!....But, any tactical trips for Vanarama National? The gulf in quality from the Vanarama South to the National is just killing my Dulwich team. Granted, my defenders are all 18 and 19 years old, but we're letting in insane amounts of goals. I've tried 4 at back, 5 at back, 3 at back, just struggling with everything. It's 2041 and I finally made it to the National league, really don't want to get relegated back aright away

Took until 2041, but I finally won promotion on the final match day of the season! Scoring a league high 123 goals, while being terrible in defense and letting in 77, but hey, it worked. Led by my 17 year old striker and my 17 year old keeper, the media predicted us to finish 22nd. Now...can I convince the board to go professional so we don't get relegated straight away? Unlikely..I've been trying for 10 years now.

Wow! I'm at 14 seasons and counting, always finishing around 10-14th. Being semi-pro is TOUGH.

I know there's a list of everyone who has completed the challenge so far...but is there a list of available countries that have not been completed yet? Curious to see which countries have not been conquered yet

11 years without promotion...should I give up yet?

So, we don't have any money to go pro, and the board keeps denying my requests to move on from being semi-pro..BUT...they want to build a $6 million stadium? Will this help me with anything? Or just more debt so we can't go pro anytime soon?

What's your personal record for most seasons spent in the lowest league possible? Will be 7 seasons at the end of this one. Hard to be semi-pro and ever get into the playoff hunt, it seems. Maybe we'll get a few good kids this year at least.

Plugging away with not much luck. Promoted to the National League once and went straight back down. Unfortunately the board decided to turn semi-professional so...we're probably screwed for awhile.

First time doing this challenge. Second year with Dulwich Hamlet. Somehow survived the first year with only 10 players, but now have some decent youth to fill out the team. For this challenge - what are the rules around club affiliations? Can I set up a link with a bigger club and get players in that way? Or the challenge is literally only using regens that come through your club every spring?

Is it normal to have to start with so few players? I only have 11 players, the rest are all grayed out. Nobody on the U19s. I did check Add Players to Playable Teams, but it seems that didn't do much...?
