  1. Don't think so.. But you could try running with 2 routines and allowing them to switch as they see fit during play.
  2. Could also try your 2 MC as CM on Def or 1 Def and 1 Support.. I also like the DLP S with a CM D which I'm using on my current tactic.
  3. This is probably a daft question. And likely answered somewhere else. Is it possible to suggest to the D.O.F to sign players of a certain criteria. Such as you are able to scout via a certain criteria. I have instructed the D.O.F to sign players for U21 and U18 teams. However the players he keeps trying to sign are awful (Max 2 - 2.5 stars) and are way worse than what I currently have at my disposal (Which doesn't say a lot considering I am at barebones in both squads other than about half a dozen players ranging from 2.5 to 3.5/4 stars) What I essentially want is for him to scout and initiate signings of 2.5 to 3.5/4/5 star youngsters. I don't want/need him to be signing players for the sake of signing players, especially ones that will never reach my first team. Is it just pot luck on who he suggests? Or do several other factors come into play - Squad (positions needed to field a team plus subs), DOF reputation and abilities (JPA/JPP) and club rep also? Thanks.
  4. Overall it didn't do too bad for such an attack minded tactic.. Improvement is highly unprobable so not going to attempt to. Haaland is absolute monster though. 58 league goals is pretty sick!
  5. Wanted something really attacking to force a game that I was having struggles in. Saw this, but no soon as I loaded tactic I lost my LW to an injury. So pulled him across to AM as a 2nd SS. I did adjust instructions for both SS and the AM and pushed the CF to AF as felt we didn't need him dropping deeper now. Worked well so far. My team is pretty good though in 2031. Has even worked international wise. Unbeaten with Wales in 9 matches (3 with this tactic which I am sticking to - Including a 5-1 home win against a pretty good Spain team. I've attached the tactic below (Even Madder Hatter) and also one with a slower tempo (Even Madder Hatter V2) - This version I find with the tempo slowed down we get the Full backs and the RPM sliding through balls a lot to the SS and same from SS and AM to the 2 AF If you have a chance to test both @knap I'd love to see how they do for a full non manager controlled season. 6. I was middle of a minor slump, Players that were previously banging in goals, providing assists, defending well etc suddenly became a team of Harry Maguires. I used the option after setting up a formation to choose player roles for that tactic, then provided it with some basic instructions. Worked well enough to get my players out of their mini slump. Quite whether it would be sufficient enough over the course of a season, I've no idea. But can't see why it wouldn't work.
  7. I have only had him on a loan on a previous save. Wasn't anywhere near as good as that. And always injured, nothing serious just week or 2 here and there. Turned down my optional fee to purchase him and bought Estanis Pedrola instead. Pedrola didn't exactly set the world alight, but made massive £65m profit off a £20m buy thanks to Saudi Oil.
  8. I pray that none of you sell Bradley after the update. Give him gametime, Lots of it. Liverpool sold him to me for £34.5m (Playing as Cardiff City) and in just under 3 seasons he's got 57 assists in all comps. I know LFC has Trent, but seriously if given game time he will be an assist machine.
  9. Francesco Pio Esposito - Inter Milan - Easily the best young striker out there for me. 6ft 3. Has everything you want in a striker. Strong, Jumping, Heading, Finishing, OTB Just hit 88 goals last season for me. In a little under 3 seasons has over 200 club goals. Force of Nature.
  10. Look for Strong, Pacey strikers with good heading, jumping and finishing Francesco Pio Esposito (Budget usually around £15-20m) or Samu Omorodion (High Value app £60-90m) are two I highly recommend depending on your budget or even someone like Calvert-Lewin / Beto (Both Everton) will work.
  11. Correct. Anfield is smaller than the fixed dimensions of 105m by 68m that host stadiums must have. Chelsea‘s Stamford Bridge has been ruled out for similar reasons. Which is why you'll not see either stadium host a European Final (CL etc), European championship match, World cup match. These are current rules The field of play must have the standard dimensions of 105m x 68m and respect the IFAB Laws of the Game. The area around the field of play up until the perimeter boards (but a minimum of 3m) must be flat and consist of natural grass (or high quality artificial turf). The overall distance between the field of play and the edge of the spectator seating area must be at least 7.5m (preferably 10m) behind each goal and at least 6m (preferably 8.5m) along the touchlines. This space is needed in particular for the substitutes’ benches, the camera positions, microphones, photographers and advertising boards. This results in a minimum overall available area of 120m x 80m and a preferred overall area of 125m x 85m.
  12. I have one youth LB and Zero RB Training is set to me as well as individual training. I am assuming the answer to the last point is Yes as they play the same formation as first team does. It's just that he keeps picking players in positions they aren't natural at and I don't want them learning new positions. I want plain players e.g LB, RB, RW, LW... DC are different, they can be played LB or RB as My system/s play with an inverted fullback or inverted wingback so if they eventually become DRC and DLC, Same with MC/DM or MC/AM.. I don't need a LW also learning to play RB or DM.
  13. Quick question. I don't usually pay much attention to my reserve & U18 squads. I usually let the managers of their respective teams pick the teams etc. However I keep noticing he is playing players out of position. Granted that I don't have many players in my reserves. Certainly not enough to field one full strength side with a player in each position. I have been contemplating purchasing players specifically so that there is a full squad available. I'd rather not waste money on doing so if there is a way to FORCE the manager to play the players he has at his disposal in their correct positions. I don't want my LW playing at RB simply to field him when he can be fielded in his natural position. Is there an option anywhere where I can pick the team, but he manages the matches and training? Or is there a work around other than purchasing players for each position just to fill the team out and get my players playing their natural positions. Thanks
  14. I'd say definitively then that the players in question were edited then.
  15. Yeah I'm not sure it's potentially 100% organic (Maybe that the C.A/P.A has been edited) - Can't say for sure if the Family link can be edited in, I don't have in-game editor so can't verify this. Maybe one of the devs can verify if it is indeed possible. If the family link is organic then amazing!
  16. I've seen a post recently on FB with someone's manager having a son generated. And then that son had a son.
  17. I don't believe it has anything to do with personality. Not from what I can gather. I Have had professional personalities say the exact thing as someone that is fickle. And that ranges from a Breakthrough prospect to a squad player who I am trying to give some extra minutes to. I personally believe it is something that was implemented incorrectly. There really doesn't seem to be any other reasoning for it. There has to be some circumstances where a player would have rather stayed on the bench. E.G a Regular starter or Important player coming on in the 60th minute of a game you are leading 3-0 when there is no real need to risk them. But even then in real life a player would likely be thankful for some game time, Unless of course that player is a mercenary or someone disgruntled at being benched to give someone else some game time (But we don't know if this is a factor in the game) But for a player who is a squad player/breakthrough prospect/fringe player/backup - You would expect any of these to be appreciative of any playing time they can get, but they never are. I'll have to take a look at what Warlock has said and talk to the players before subbing them on and see if this improves things.
  18. Yes, I hate the Saudi league. It's kinda ruined the immersion of the game at times. Especially with the silly wages. I love when they bid silly money for my 3rd choice CB or Striker etc though
  19. Here he is on an older save I found.. He's 28 not signed for a top European side, went to Saudi. Looks likely to be closer to low/mid range of his p.a on this save. And not done much in terms of G/A either. But still looks decent.
  20. Not on my current save.. Only running a small database
  21. Depends, I got him for around £2.8m upfront and £1.6m in addons for appearances etc. The kids insane.
  22. No idea how they've managed to be so bad. They've spent a fair chunk of money over the past 2 seasons.. £3.5m in league one. Gained promotion. £8.5m in first season back in championship. Solidified their position. £35m in 3rd season - (£22.5m of this was 2 agreed transfers at end of season) Then a further £28.5m first season back in Prem. In this period there have been no significant outgoings signing wise. They will however have a side more than capable of going back up. They'll likely keep some of that squad due to them being loans that have since been made permanent.
  23. Not sure if anyone has mentioned him on this thread just yet but.. Andrei Borza - Rapid Bucuresti - LB - Absolutely insane player. If you catch him with a high enough PA then you are looking at an assist machine.
  24. Nope, On the only save I did with LFC (only got through one season before giving it up) I had Bradley at RB - He has fantastic speed and if given chances he develops amazingly. And had moved Trent to CM as DLP
