Welcome to episode 17 of my FM24 Saving Southend story. We begin our one club story with Southend United in non-league. We have a points deduction, transfer embargo and a threadbare squad, but can we stay up in our first season before heading on a road to glory? In episode 17, we're back for an end of summer transfer window special as a busy deadline day begins. We also continue our EFL return at home to Walsall, managed by Jonathan Woodgate.

In episode 16, we're back for transfer deadline day at FC Gifu after a disappointing transfer window. We've also become inconsistent on the pitch too, as we head to Kumamoto.

They've got two bankers, whilst we face playoff hopefuls AFC Fylde and Hartlepool United. Can we hold on? There's also a youth intake and one new loan signing to meet.

In episode 13, we return for a new season, still at FC Gifu after promotion to the J2 League. It's not a positive experience ahead of our opening game against Tosu though, as we experience our first problems with the Director of Football in a transfer window.
