Mine is "Fairly Determined" - don't know what affects this though. Probably lots of things!

My current save I have 15 nations (all european) loaded with about 86,000 players. However, I only loaded the top 2 divisions in each nation as it was always the plan to stay with top division clubs (I started with Sevilla and then ended up at Leicester City after I got the boot!). I'm in 2027 now and it runs quick - 2 star performance according to the game.

Yes, that makes sense for a part-time club

This year, I am going for just home games and just enough to get the squads sharpness up. Anytime you have a game, you lose training sessions. When you have anything but home games, you lose more training sessions through travel before & after the game. I schedule games against similar or higher reputation teams - not sure if that makes much difference or not.

Quick update - I reached the end of my second season (2nd but failed to win promotion by 5 points) and got this message:

My assumption is that if I can get them promoted a few times then they will need to relocate again - hopefully closer to home? (I'd never heard of Sticker before I started this save but I love them now...lol....their nickname is "The Sticky"!)

In my second season with Sticker FC (South West Peninsula League Premier Division West - located near St Austell, Cornwall). At the end of season 1, we relocated from the original ground as it wasn't up to standard for the league. We moved to The Royal Agricultural College ground in Cirencester - this is about 200 miles away from Sticker! And we are not the only ones now located at this ground - by my count there are now 25 teams at this ground along with many more U21 & U18 teams including 4 other teams in my division. There is also a couple of teams in the North West Counties league at this ground! Any idea why this happened? (makes arranging pre-season friendlies REALLY hard!).

So far the only time I have used it was at the end of the season - useful for that but not for much else.

Just started playing as Burnley - got to Championship squad registration and I can't work out why I am going to have leave a player out when in real life Kompany has been able to register everyone I disabled first transfer budget so haven't signed anyone new.

I just turned 60, and I am waiting with baited breath for FM23. I'll let you know when I'm too old for it!

Thursday evening would be in line with last year but that doesn't mean much. Never known a Beta to release on a weekend. I would expect it on Thursday unless some last minute showstopper bug has revealed itself this week.

Not sure I am ready to class Roberts & Taylor as "Natural" at CB even if that is their role in reality! Formation is all very fluid - Taylor tends to cover the LB position when Maatsen/Vitinho is on a forward run and as you say Cullen will drop deep to cover. Not sure how that is all going to be dealt with in FM23 but I will certainly be looking forward to taking on the challenge - sorry Vinny!

It's not so much player roles or positions as it is the "Club Vision". FM22 has the Board wanting direct football and a defensive attitude. I'm assuming that is going to change in FM23. Of course, the whole Financial position changes as well following relegation along with the publicized loan having to be partially repaid.
