  1. There's a number of training sessions that impact team cohesion. When you click a training option you should see this highlighted. One of them is Team Bonding, and I think Teamwork as well. I recommend scheduling those frequently to improve Team Cohesion.
  2. Presumably JSA and Negotiating in the Physio column apply for the role of Head Physio?
  3. I really enjoyed reading about the transfer dealings on the first page of the thread. Considering the small scope of transfer targets, do any of you find yourselves using aggressive recruitment tactics for potential targets? When I managed Athletic Club a few years ago my main transfer targets played for Real Sociedad, obviously, so I often found myself trying to unsettle them through the media, by asking my players to comment, by attending their games etc Often the players will be quite reluctant to join a competitor though, but prolonged flirting in the media tends to slowly sway them
  4. The vets you've signed have good personalities, although their squad status doesn't suggest they're high in the team hierarchy. Are you doing any mentoring and if so, what are the effects?
  5. I do think you've had to play arguably 5 out of the 6 strongest side in the division in your first nine games, so I'd say you have a good return so far. In real life, there's always some discussion about Ajax, PSV, Utrecht and AZ reserve team featuring first team players to keep up their fitness levels, which one could argue is a bit unfair as you never know how strong a team you're going to face. Do you see the same in FM, or do their first team players not feature?
  6. I had never seen this save idea / challenge before, but I really like it. Good luck! I had no idea Spanish duo Ruben Perez and Juankar (:D) ended up in Greece
  7. I like your thinking! I see you instruct Pino to mark the DL. Do you have experience using this? I'd be concerned this (1) drains his energy a bit more; (2) gives you less compactness when defending/pressing on the other side of the pitch and (3) might mess up some defensive set pieces. But those are all assumptions so I'm curious to read what you experience
  8. The fans are getting their money's worth with some of those scorelines! And you nearly averaged 2 goals a game I like the philosophy of signing older players. Do you find you're able to get them on the cheap? Sometimes older players with high reputation expect high wages or two/three year deals
  9. Great job on the skin, I like the creativity of going for additional focus as segmentation
  10. I played with Atleti in the FM22 Beta (as you can tell from my profile pic, I'm a fan ) Despite the club's reputation you will have little transfer budget to spend, not just in the first season but beyond. You do have an opportunity of winning both la Liga and Champions League as early as in your first season and you can attract big name signings, but your biggest challenges are managing the wage bill and replacing an aging core of the team. Do you keep players like Oblak, Koke and Saul , who are fan favorites and high in the hierarchy, or do you attempt to bring down the wage bill and sign some much needed squad depth and youth? It's definitely an interesting challenge in terms of finances; in terms of tactics and of course in terms of fighting against Spain's big two. Also, had mixed results with Joao Felix. I only played a bit more than one season but wasn't able to figure out his best role
