A couple of bugs found following the first season I’ve played: Tried to up load to the bugs thread but you have to upload the game (not sure how) etc. Not as simple as a post. Saving games: Be careful, it doesn’t always save. I’ve Played a few matches, saved the game afterwards. Left / turned it off and I’ve then had to replay the game where it didn’t save. Team Save Selection: It doesn’t save the team selection as you want (Ie if you said “A Team 4231”. Just saves it as whatever formation and whatever team. Team Save Selection: I try to save a certain XI and then when you go to load it, it randomly selects the team. Ie puts the GK up front, brings subs on etc. Player filter / loading a search: It doesn’t save your search. Ie if you save a specific search as “defenders” it just says FM search 2 etc. There is a frustrating amount of injuries on this game….I get its apart of the sport. But every week someone is picking up injuries. Possibly double/triple the injuries to the last games

How do you download FM24? Can’t find it on the App Store.

Doesn't look hugely different to last year’s game... Features look particularly the same. With the build-up I presumed we would be having whole sail changes

Interesting youngster… 5* in the youth pull. Could do with a world class CM. Assistant & stats make him ok. Good physical and teamwork… Straight into the England Squad.

Try an attacking formation (433 / 4231/ 442 etc)....? Wing backs and wingers? Not a bog standard 451 which Sean Dyche will use at Everton on the counter to stay clear of relegation.... Wont help you score goals....

This is a good post – I have been meaning to mention this. I haven’t seen any youth recommended to me better than a 0.5 star. I love this addition to this year’s game mind you... Hopefully it can be improved / developed for FM24? You see Big clubs poach young kids... Be nice to have a few 15 year olds thrown into the mix (The John Bostocks of the world).

When a player is unlikely to benefit from mentoring. Is it worth forcing them into mentoring with certain senior players? in this case - potential positive impacts include: positioning, decisions & passing. Helpful for a CB. Wondered if there’s ever a benefit?

Do we know if any more work to develop the loan system is happening for FM24? 24 month loan Obligation to buy More player control when the player is loaned...( I.e. Training focus... Positional training etc. Clubs would still have an interest?) “Obligation to buy” I imagine is slightly different to buying with the loan-back option? If a club puts in an offer for a loan for one of my players, I can’t then renegotiate using this loan back option? Helps clubs get around FFP and would help buying a player and using next seasons budget….

A starting point I imagine will be Saudi....With a view to expand from their. Be interesting to see if theres enough interest in the other leagues to add other leagues. I imagine the size of the game is important being on a phone.

Would be quite useful having a search option with your scout reports? Especially with 502 reports…

Where did you see/read this? I imagine a very few would be changing tactics every game? Its not required, possibly over thinking the game, unless you personally want to do this. (City, Barce, Real etc etc generally keep the same style of play whatever the game).

He’s pretty good for a 3.5 star rating… I always wonder how accurate or how much does the star rating mean from your assistant manager?

No - I agree with your reply Michael. The game takes 75 seconds or so. It doesnt need an "Instant Result". Holiday mode is an option if they want to miss/skip games.

This makes sense. My Youngsters personality is “Relentlessly Ambitous” but with a 9/20 teamwork rating…. But the same time, he “Dislikes the intense work rate that his team mates expect”. Doesn’t sound like a good attitude to me?

If goals are your biggest consideration for inside forwards, Why don’t you play your wingers higher and actually make them an inside “forwards”? Just like the goal scoring forwards who play in the wider areas would be… Ie Salah, CR7 at Real, Mane etc. Put them on the opposite side to their strong foot so they cut in. Team mentality to attacking. Tempo to high. Closing down to all over (due to the 3 up top). My boys seem to be ok in the wider positions….

I’m guessing the potential ability on the coaches report once the youngster is promoted to the first team is more accurate than the initial rating (while in the youth academy) when the new crop of youth players arrive? (I.e. Can you really get excited about a 5* youth pull or is the rating when promoted to the first team more accurate if that makes sense?).

This makes sense. I am indeed, managing England. Is it possible to add the include own players' toggle, when managing nations?

Sometimes frustrating when your own players come up in the search filters… Is there anyway / Please can we add a search filter stopping your own players from appearing in the search?

When the New Crop of Youth Academy players arrive in FM23…. Had 1 youth player rated as a 5 Star potential from my youth coach.. When promoted to the first team his potential ability then becomes a 3 star… Had another youth player rated as a 3.5 Star potential from my youth coach… Who jumped nicely to a 5* when promoted to the first team. I appreciate you have a level of knowledge when promoting youngsters. First day its an “F” and gets better the longer they are in the academy. Does the initial rating (while in the youth academy) have much relevant to the potential? Ie Can you really get excited about a 5* youth pull or is the rating when promoted to the first team more accurate?

If I can’t sell them - I both transfer and loan list them at the same time. My Plan B is to loan them and include a “buy out fee” when offers are put in for the player on loan. Most of the time they get sold eventually.

I have a player who "Has no interest in learning English". He has been with me for 9 seasons... Does this impact him at all? I.e. limit his development / game performances (not understanding team talks / tactics etc)? Would it be possible to be able to talk/interact with the player if they don’t want to learn the language and try to encourage them to do so? Hopefully a similar update to the above. Thank you

If it’s possible to also include when adding stats / club info, Within the club history page, you can see the most goals in a season (current season and overall) amongst other stats (league goals, assists, appearances, average rating etc). I would love to see the most appearances, goals, assist etc by a player in the clubs history? Even if the stats started when the game starts (i.e. July 2021). After 20 years with a club, will be nice to see the record numbers for your club.
